Property is probably the best option there is but I try not to consider a leveraged situation. The front desk lady on check in was quite pleasant, which was the one staff member with this attitude. The breakfast team didn’t speak or acknowledge us once. The second morning we ate breakfast elsewhere even though it was included in the rate . No wash clothes are available for the bathroom. This isn’t acceptable for a hotel accommodating an international guest pool. It’s also really not hard to supply them. There was no bar or restaurant available on Sunday .

Such a nice hotel! Two minor feedbacks. One is about the bathroom, the shower area is not fully closed so it is easy to make the bathroom messy when taking a shower. The second is about the breakfast. The breakfast is great but the bread doesn’t tasty. The bread is cold and hard.

The Hotel Victoria is a great option for being in the absolute center of Stavanger, on the harbor and just minutes from the restaurants, shops and bars of the old town. The downside is it can be noisy and a bit dirty as most of the bars have outdoor seating and the noise and drinking goes late into the evening.
The hotel is upscale and offered one of the best breakfast buffets we experience in our 3-week trip in Norway. Lots of options and we always made up a lunch bag each day. Great rooms and upscale bathroom amenities. Definitely a place we would stay at again or recommend to friends.

Great location in Stavanger. Nice hotel and very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast and the restaurant was very good although the service was disorganized (but very friendly). Overall a great hotel to stay (we stayed 2 nights) if you are in this area.

Overall a fine stay, an old hotel, where it looks old in the detail. Aircondition wasn’t working very well. The breakfast was really not great, unfortunatley.

But for the price (much higher than the hotels close by) I expected more.
The shower is not well done, all the bathroom gets wet.
The breakfast is simple.
On this same trip I stayed in another hotel at Stavanger downtown paying 30 % less with a wonderfull breakfast and the same level of room confort.
I do not see a real differential that justifies the high prices at Hotel Victoria.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Victoria. The hotel is spacious, clean and elegant. We had a family room with a queen bed and sofa bed for the kids.l, both were comfortable. There was plenty of space for all of our suitcases and we did not feel cramped. The breakfast was amazing and there are plenty of food options in walking distance from the hotel. There was a parking garage down the street that also had electric vehicle charging stations. Overall a great hotel and would easily book here again.

We liked all things except for the fact that the room was not sound insulated So we heard foot steps and conversations in the evening, it sounded like people were in the same room. We discovered also that the house keeping supplies were being kept next to our room which may explain the noise.

Amazing hotel. Staff went beyond to help and support. Always smiling and very professional. Room was nice and spacious. Great food selection for breakfasts. The only improvement would be bit thicker curtains to cut more light out. Also hotel doesn't show parking, but there is a great carpark 100m from the hotel.

Victoria Hotel is ideally situated when staying in central Stavanger. Walking distance to everything. Room was spacious, comfortable bed and great pillows. I’ve been travelling in Europe for the past 8 weeks and their buffet breakfast is the best so far, providing a great variety and beautiful presentation. I would definitely recommend it. As it is an older hotel, the walls are thin.

It is an old hotel that has been modernised but not all that well. Especially for a hotel as expensive as this. For instance the showers spray water in all directions making the bathroom wet. The doors of the rooms locked with difficulty. There are no safes and no phones in the rooms.

Beautiful hotel right by harbor. We were upgraded to a suite and this was the BEST hotel stay of our entire trip. Beds were the most comfortable we've experienced traveling, breakfast was gorgeous, all staff were excellent. We would love to stay again, and recommend this hotel highly

Victoria has the potential to be a great hotel : excellent location, very pleasant and helpful staff (esp. Karina). Good breakfast. But, the corner 'suite' had little storage space, a leaking kettle, no drawstrings or even rods for curtains, poor soap dispensers, bathroom floor gets wet, confusing door lock with no dead-bolt, slippers "on order for a month", and no phone in the room!

A gorgeous old world hotel located on the waterfront in the historic center of Stavanger. Charm, character, great service and fabulous breakfasts made for a very special stay. It was safe, meticulously clean and quiet.
