The free breakfast in the morning was incredible. I would definitely stay at this very good

It was a nice hotel at a convenient location. Very clean. The breakfast menu was good. The parking was limited hence had to find a spot to park the rental car in the neighborhood when I reached late at night. There's a kronan and a fuel pump very close by so that was convenient too.

Great location for us to stop by and rest before we continued our journey. Loved the automated process and complimentary breakfast. The only problematic issue for us was the small parking garage which made it a little stressful.

- Only 16 parking spots for almost 80 rooms. They really should not be advertising free parking. You won't find a spot.
- No thermostat in the room.
- The shower only had a half wall separating it from the bathroom, so I was cold, and water kept splashing all over the bathroom floor.
- The room felt industrial, just like the neighborhood.
- At first I thought it was nice that they provided ear plugs. Then I realized it was because there's traffic noise.
- It says it's a 5 minute drive to Hallgrimskirkja, but it takes 12. It is not close to anything.
- "Midtown," as it's advertised, is just an industrial district. There's no view, there's nowhere good to walk to, and it feels depressing after leaving downtown.
- Breakfast was good.
- Internet worked well.
- Check in and out with the code was easy.
Don't stay here. There are so many better options in better locations. Out of the six places we stayed in our week in Iceland, this was my least favorite.

Not having someone to talk to at a front desk is inconvenient. It was difficult to get washcloths.

The room itself was comfortable and neatly designed, as shown in photos. There were conveniences built in, like places to put luggage and hang clothes, and extra outlets underneath the pretty headboards. The beds were comfy with great pillows. Breakfast was nice, and included eggs and other sources of protein, skyr yogurt, and all the usual continental things as well. Convenient place to stay to be picked up for tours from Reykjavik.

Fantastic bathroom-heated floors were a bonus. Parking was very limited. Good breakfast, but a bit chaotic. Appreciated the outlets by the bed. Comfy beds, but headboard made sleeping very uncomfortable.

The parking can be tricky. Difficult to get out of garage if you get in there and there’s no spots available, especially with a larger vehicle.

Limited parking - if we came back after 6pm there was no way to get parking and had to find someplace in the neighborhood to park that wasn’t a tow zone.

I picked it because it was just outside the tourist section of town. It was a nice little hotel and breakfast was great. My room was small but over all great two night stay.

We enjoyed our stay. Clean room, comfy beds, good size bathroom, even kitchenette came handy one night when we brought food home. We were specifically looking for an extra bed for our son, not some rollaway or a sofa, and these rooms have exactly what we needed. Really liked the keyless entry throughout - complimentary luggage storage, underground garage, entryway, and the room itself can be accessed with the same code. Breakfast options were great too with plenty of sitting space. The only complaint is a lack of built-in shelves in the shower where you have to set things down on the floor.

Our experience staying at oddsson hotel in midtown was pleasant. Very convenient with bus stops, grocery stores and dining restaurants. Walkable neighbourhood. Very good location especially if you’re taking travel tour packages and you need to be picked up/drop off. The star for me is the breakfast. For an extra fee you get continental breakfast (they serve it at 7am to 10am) and the food was great, the quality and the variety. I would stay again here when I go back to Iceland.

We liked that we didn’t have to do anything to check-in and could just go straight to our room. We got to park in the garage which made it so simple. The room is huge with a full kitchen, large bathroom, and table to eat for four. We slept wonderful- the beds and bedding are so comfortable. The hotel is VERY quiet- haven’t heard anything at all outside our room. The location is outside the downtown area of the city, but there’s a pizza place across the street we ate at. Would recommend and stay here again!

Every thing was more than expected , the breakfast was the best and the staff were all very friendly , just the parking was a headache and not enough spot for the guests . Although we were able to park in the plaza close the hotel , but I had wake up early in the morning to move my car to the garage , but we managed okay. Good place and very reasonable price and good location close to two big grocery stores one was open 24 hours and the other very cheap . We had good lunch and dinner at ikea store much cheaper than outside .

It was a great hotel, very comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and worked hard to serve breakfast every day. They also offer dinner at the Hotel which is reasonably priced. It’s a bit far from downtown if you don’t have a car, but an easy drive if you do. Highly recommend this hotel!

There is no reception. Its a self check in checkout facility. The parking is limited and there is no gym. Expedia did not mention any of this

Convenient to the places we wanted to visit. Breakfast was great (staff did a wonderful job). While we found a parking space each day, it was due to our handicap placard. Otherwise parking on site was limited. The building and furniture generally appeared to begin showing its age and wear. While I'd prefer to check-in as an in-person experience, the reception team was outstanding in supporting my special needs regarding getting my check-in code since I was without email capability two days prior to check in. Thank you

Stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. Very clean hotel and the staff and management were very responsive . No more than 20 minutes to downtown.
Only complain are the beds, not comfy at all. Menu was pretty limited. I appreciated the free breakfast.
