The hotel has a great location right down the street is the main action of Reykjavik, shops and restaurants, breakfast was good, front desk personal were not very outgoing or friendly like, but I guess this is the normal behavior of the Icelandic people.

Only stayed 1 night. Lack of curtains for darkness in bathroom, small room. Restaurant was adequate for our needs.

If I could give 4.5 stars, I would. This hotel was lovely and had a very good location. There was a bus stop right beside it where tours, airport transportation, etc. picked up and dropped off which was ideal. It wasn't a long walk to the harbour and very close to the shopping district. The hotel itself was well-organized, clean, and attractive. The room was small-ish - but not as small as central Manhattan. It was still well organized. I would have liked drawers, but I am not sure where we could have put our empty luggage then. The breakfast included was really good and offered a lot of options. We had appetizers and drinks at the restaurant one evening and everything was delicious and service was great. The hotel itself reminded me of an IKEA display (a very nice one). They stored our luggage before our return flight. When I had questions before our arrival the hotel staff replied promptly and to each question. I found the bed a little hard, but not too bad, but it was a good size and the pillows were perfect. The bathroom has a deep tub which was very appreciated after one 10-hour tour we took on a day that it poured rain for 3/4 of the day and there were almost gale-force winds.

Having a “queen” bed in Iceland was definitely a luxury.

Excellent location right in the city center with so many shops and restaurants nearby. However we weee assigned to a room on first floor, and the smell of the room was very bed, sewage smell, not very very strong, but it’s always there.

Central location and modern interior. My room facing the street, can hear the noise outside but quiet at night. Breakfast is good. Staff are friendly and helpful. Parking spaces are limited.

Nice hotel in a main shopping street. Very helpful and friendly staff. We were in the basement and would have preferred an upper room but all in all we would stay again. Included breakfast was very good.

Rm #310 no privacy. Some people can walk around outside the bedroom’s only window. Guest at #310 cannot go there.

Limited parking on site , had to park on the street and pay the fee. Otherwise everything else was good.

Very central to shopping. Bus stop for the flyaway bus and tour buses is right outside the hotel do very convenient. Fantastic restaurants, (Reykjavk Kitchen,Grazie Trattoria) are just a block or two away. Continental buffet breakfast is just okay and will be old if staying for more than a couple of days but also very convenient. Rooms are small but have everything you need and are clean and comfortable.

Location was amazing, everything so easy to walk to! People were great, was a little expensive (hotel and breakfast) but overall Iceland is expensive, it was probably worth it.

The location is very good, close to everything, shopping, foods, bus stop #9 for tour pick up & drop off….. staffs are very helpful and friendly, good breakfast, hotel clean and beautiful… we like everything here.

Great location and breakfast included. We even got free parking behind the building. Would definitely recommend.

Front desk staff were very helpful

They dont have enough parking for all guests. There is a public underground parking across the street but the garage is closed between 12pm to 7pm. If you have a flight early it wont work. I wish the hotel staff told us that detail!

Being next to Bus Stop 9 was perfect for day bys trips and airport transport. Very good breakfast. Obliging front dest staff.

Made us feel secure during the stay

The staff here cannot do enough for you . Had an issue with parking and was quuckly resolved . The Hotel is on the main shopping street full of bars and restaurants.

Well situated, comfortable and fresh. Met my expectations for a basic four star experience.

Overall, a very plesant & convenient stay for our short stay in Reykjavik. The location is amazing for exploring Reykjavik. Staff was friendly & helpful. And the included breakfast was all one would need for a day of exploration.

Very helpful staff that made our check in really quick and pleasant. We arrived very late and unfortunately there was no parking lots left, but the hotel staff guided us to still park behind the hotel instead of insisting that we park somewhere else, passed us the keys which he already prepared in advance so that we can quickly get to our rooms, wash up and rest.

The staff is nice and location is excellent.

This is my second time staying here, once with my husband and once on a work trip, and it’s been a great experience both times. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and contemporary, and there’s a nice bar and restaurant with a hearty included breakfast buffet. Location is great and within easy walking distance of most of the city’s top spots and attractions. I would only recommend staying in a room that doesn’t face Laugavegur Street as it was a bit noisy at night.
