It was just for one night, but they were so helpful and friendly, the accommodations were new and funky, the hotel was quiet and comfortable.

Great little boutique hotel! Would recommend to solo travelers or couples visiting the city.

We had a great stay. Although it was only stayed one night we would have stayed for much longer if we we weren't flying out the next day. I appreciated the added security at night, it's a safe touristy area but that also means some nightlife in the vicinity, which we took full advantage of ourselves! The main door locks at night and you use your hotel key to get in, the desk is also staffed around the clock should you need assistance. The sound insulation is really good too, we didn't hear anything once we got in our room. The room itself was clean and comfortable. We didn't use the hotel restaurant, again it was our last night in Iceland, but we would have if we had a longer stay. The place seemed to have a nice ambience. Only minor thing is that pillows were on the thin side; I used my travel pillow to prop it up. Conveniently located near shops, restaurants, and a supermarket right next door. Staff was VERY nice and courteous and they stored our bags after check-out so we can go have breakfast and do some last minute shopping. Plenty of street parking and parking lots within walking distance.

The hotel is in city center so it’s a bit cramped. The lighting in the room isn’t great and the neighborhood gets incredibly loud at night, so it can be hard to settle down. The bed was rock solid which some people like, but I find to be uncomfortable. I didn’t sleep well as a result. Location is wonderful and staff was nice but because of the beds and the noise, I would choose to stay elsewhere if I returned.
