Very helpful desk staff, wonderful breakfast

We checked in online early in the day and responded on the online form that we expected to arrive at 11:30 pm. Arriving at 11:40 pm we were told that two rooms had suffered water damage and couldn't be used, that a manager--who was no longer there--had called me and left a voice message that our booking was canceled. There had been no such call. When I showed my phone records to the person at the desk he acknowledged that clearly there had been no call. He was discomforted by this but didn't appear surprised. All he could offer, he said, was a list of nearby hotels. I said I expected him to call and find us a room, as he knew the area and what the hotels were like and I did not. At this, he said there was a room where the ceiling had been repaired but the repair was not quite dry, and he could give us that. In the room there was no discernible not-yet-dried repair--if in fact it had been repaired then the repair had occurred long before I had checked in online. It was the room closest to the front desk, an undesirable location where one might expect a room put aside for emergencies. So I can't really know what happened but I suspect they overbooked, hoping there would be sufficient no shows, but had a room or two put aside for arrivals late in the day who couldn't be urged to go elsewhere. Once in the hotel, the service, breakfast, and stay were fine. Staff were helpful and friendly. I'd have given them five stars. But beware: when you arrive there may be no room for you.

Very comfortable and clean bed. Slept like a baby. Carpet needed vacuuming. Front deak staff was excellent. Little extra attention to cleaning detail snd would tive it 5 out of 5.

There was mold in the shower.

I think this is a great facility with clean rooms, attentive staff and very good breakffast! Unfortunately I left my new phone charger in my room and am now in the process of hopefully retrieving it.

Convenient location with a pool. Liked having breakfast included. Staff was attentive. Room was basic but clean.

I would not stay there again. The carpet stink, they serve the same breakfast food the 8 days I was there.The parking wasn’t great.

This place does not accept cash . The last time I checked it is still legal tender in the U.S. . The water pressure in the shower was a joke . It makes taking a shower a choir .

Dolores was amazing at the front desk. Checking in was a quick process and the room was spotless. Love the Dove products in the bathroom. Parking lot was well lit with plenty of spaces and it was a quick drive up to the University for student preview weekend.

Found dried blood stain on shower curtain. Marijuana smell throughout the hallways. Staff was very pleasant. Same breakfast food both days. Would have been nice if bacon was offered instead of sausage both days.

I can't believe what a value this hotel was! I was driving back from Orlando, completely exhausted, and I just needed a place to stay for the night. This hotel was perfect! It was in a safe, well-lit area, with lots of parking so I didn't have to walk a long distance at night. The night clerk was super helpful and efficient. She even gave me a deal on some sunscreen from the sundries shop. The bed was incredibly comfortable and I slept like a baby. The free breakfast was pretty standard but very much appreciated after days of getting gouged for every extra in Orlando. Thanks, y'all, for an excellent stay!

So first,the expedia app that we used accidentally booked the wrong hotel. When i called to see if i could fix it,it was explained to me that the hotel had already taken the money and if they could refund it then we could change to the hotel that was at the exit we where at. when i called the hotel the person that they would need to refund it,wouldnt be in til monday,but that they could do it then. That made no sence as that wouldnt help so instead we had to back track and stay at this hotel anyway. When we got there they said they had to have a cc for damages. They said we will not be chargeing anything to your cc. But they lied. The next day we checked out. We tried to tell them that a cockroach came out the bathroom sink,the ice bucket was full of water,it looked like someone sat on the toilet and flicked boogers on the wall behind the toilet. Now we have 4 kids and plan everything out so our money was limited. So the next day at check out i checked my account and they had charged us for the room and so did expedia. The staff was not helpful at all and ended up ruining the rest of our trip. Plus we where stuck at a gas station for hrs as the money they took was our gas money. It left 20 bucks in our account that we had to figure out how to feed 6 people with. I finally was able to get ahold of a family member that could actually send us money to get home . And now here it is monday and that money is still not returned to our account.. so thanks for ruining our vacation..
