We had a lovely stay at The Stamford, the room was well furnished, modern, clean with a very comfy big bed. It is in a great location and self check in was simple to follow.

Rooms very ckean and comfortable and the communal lounge and kitchen was a huge bonus especially as I was on a business trip .

Beautiful place felt really comfortable there the place is spotless has a lovely atmosphere close to everything there is knowone on site but easy check in and the communication with sarah is excellent will definitely stay there again if we come to southport

The guest house was very well organised easy to access and use. The facilities were perfect for what we needed. For a small fee they ever arranged a small birthday hamper on request which was great.
Overall it was a great stay and we would stay again.
Only one negative which was not really down to the guest house themselves was that they put us in a room next a family with a small child who was screaming quite a bit and for us as parents away for a rest from our own kids it was a dissapointment when being woke early.
A suggestion would be to have families with children on the same floor so that it doesnt affect other guests.
Dont let those comments take away what was a great place to stay!

Whilst everything is clean tidy and comfortable its a little strange to not see a membee of staff at all for either check in or check out. However, bedroom was a reasonable size with 6' bed, nice bathroom and other furnishings

This was our second stay we cannot fault anything you are given a code to open the main door then you will find your door key in a box.The hotel is so near everything so you never have far to walk.It was my husbands birthday and when we arrived we was greated with a birthday balloon it's the little things that make you feel welcome.The hotel was spotless and and had everything you needed

Had a lovely stay. Locked our key card in the room but the owners have it all covered. Sorted out straight away. Lovely comfortable bed,room was lovely. We would definitely be coming back .thankyou

beautifully decorated and looked after. We had the kind room as a twin, not much room but didn't need it as used the lounge and kitchen. Ideal location just off main road - Lord Street and Prom. Quiet rooms all seem to be well sound proofed.

The Stamford is perfect in every way, I love it so much I want to live there! We've stayed in Room 5 twice now and it has the most comfortable bed, the best sleeps I've had in years. The location is spot on, the hotel facilities are great, and Becky is so helpful. We'll be back very soon :-)

The standard of the hotel is very very good, the cleanliness of the rooms is impeccable. Rick was a pleasure to deal with at the hotel and worked hard to accommodate us. I would definitely stay here and I would recommend it to anyone.

lovely staff, fabulous room. I have been going to Southport for many years this was head and shoulders above the rest. Lots of caring little touches. Super comfy bed.. Very classy room design. Even had a recycling bin.

The Stamford is a really great place to stay. Excellent location. Close to shops, restaurants and the sea front. Fabulous rooms, well decorated and clean. Nice, modern and fresh. Can highly recommend.

The location was great, right next to the main road and walking distance to the beach. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable. Checking in and out was very simple too.

Perfect location so close to the pier and lake and the shops, bars and restaurants. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were made to feel very welcome by the manager and the owners who were all lovely people, felt like home. Had the superior king room which was lovely and spacious and very modern, Would definitely go back. Loved the self check in too

Lovely little place, very modern and very clean. It is very central. The place is fully self service but we didn’t really need anyone. I liked that there was a fridge to store food and drinks in. I took porridge sachets with me. There are only tiny teaspoons so bare that in mind. My only issue with this place was the parking, there are only 6 spaces and they are 3 x2 so you’ll block someone in or be blocked, that’s if you are lucky enough to get a space, we weren’t.
