I’m extremely disappointed with this hotel, after staying there for two weeks and being so nice to them - even getting pizza from the front desk staff (which the manager did not even thank me for)… All I got was harassment from them - horrible customer service! They treated me very disrespectfully and the security guard asked if my friends were from Venezuela and that they could not come in?? I am sorry but paying for a hotel one deserves good treatment - and not being HARRASED by the front desk staff or the security guard that is homophobic and discriminatory towards foreigners! UNACCEPTABLE - will never stay here again.

Amazing experience @ the Ibis Budget hotel - great location, clean and efficient! But there best part was the service! Great job to a wonderful team!

I had booked and paid in advance the full amount for the 5 day/night stay because my flight would arrive early in the morning of Day 2, and I did not want to wait for the regular check in time in the afternoon. When I arrived at the hotel expecting an immediate check in, the receptionist Emily told me they had no rooms (i.e., they gave away my room the day before!) and I had to wait until they had vacancy. I was furious. Emily spoke to the male manager on the floor and this manager who was near me did not even look at me or apologized. Eventually, Emily told me to wait until a room got cleaned so I could check in. So, I waited for about an hour before I got into my room. Emily also provided 5 free breakfast passes to make it up to me. My room was clean but the level of noise next door in Room 450 was terrible. I could hear the other guests’ phones beeping and their conversation through the wall which was paper-thin; moreover, it was shaking when the couple next door did their nightly thing (!) making it hard to sleep. Overall, it was Emily and her colleagues in the reception area and dining area, as well as the guard, that made my stay bearable in the succeeding days. They were friendly, super helpful, and kind. They deserve a promotion!

The Ibis Budget in Santiago has an amazing location. You can walk to the public transportation, restaurants and also some attractions. Dont expect much from the rooms but it was perfect for our trip. Spend most days outside and come back to the hotel just to take a shower ( which by the way was awesome )and sleep.

Reception staff with differences in treatment of clients and not respecting arrival orders, hotel staff speaking in a bad manner and rudeness in front of clients, forgetting respect for people and they talk very badly about clients on their way out

Room too small

Wonderful place, great location close to the metro (very important). Safe neighborhood. Staff were friendly and most spoke English. The staff member that stood out the most was Mauricio, this man loves his job and is very good at it. Made the stay very welcoming

We stayed for 10 days and had NO problems at all - staff very friendly and spoke English well at the desk!

Hotel is close to subway. Staffs were friendly and helpful. It located in a safe neighborhood with plenty restaurants and convenience stores. I would stay there again.

A budget hotel with a good location in the city. The rooms are small. You can talk to the person next door through the walls. But the price is also fine.

Excelent hotel for the price

Simple room with excellent service. Clean and comfortable. A desk in the room was perfect to work. But the temperature of the shower is not continuous. That was awful.

Had a great stay and sleep. The location is far from the historic centre where all the protests are currently taking place - which for us was 'safe'. however the hotel is close to bars and restaurants. Great internet connection, and staff were amazing with arranging a car to collect us from airport and drop us off at San Antonio Port. Well recommended!

Budget does not mean bargain basement—but that’s what you get here. No refrigerator, no phone, no travel amenities like toothpaste and shampoo, no availability of ice, no water glass, etc.,...I’ve stayed in other budget hotel and this one was a disappointment. Staff was friendly. Breakfast buffet needed a little more variety. Finally, the bunk bed was a bit of a hazard as I hit my head on it a few times when I awoke—the perpendicular angle made it so,

Great location, clean room, friendly staff. It’s exactly what we needed for a quick stopover in Santiago on our way back home.
