amazing property, the staff is wonderful

MUST READ. Sui Generis is much better and much more than what you see here. My biggest concern when I travel is where I sleep. This place will forever be unforgettable. The cleanliness is outstanding top to bottom, inside and out! The way the hotel is set up is exceptional. From the elegant sliding doors when you walk in, to the fine detail in the rooms, and even the way the rooms are situated, it was a complete delight. Service is exceptional. We are still thinking of Giovanni's introduction of the extensive morning buffet, to the extraordinary chef, to the landscaper who ensured that every sunbed was aligned and of course to the reception staff. We were scheduled to arrive late at night and they communicated with us through our entire travel time to ensure they waited for us to check in. Ask them any question and they give you the world. Tropea is not just for the beach but also for this wonderful hotel. We miss you all tremendously and wish we were there with you now. Nothing is missing here folks. Just book it.

We had a Juliet balcony rather than a proper balcony or terrace which was a bit disappointing as most of the other rooms seemed to had a real balcony or terrace with a sea view - however the staff and service where amazing. we loved the pool area and the breakfast buffet was out of this world. I would definitely recommend this hotel. It is just a short minute walk to the town centre. we loved it.

Beautiful property and attentive staff

Our stay was great the staff were amazing super helpful with everting we needed. Quick walk down town to a lovely little centre and beautiful beaches. They also recommended and Olive oil farm tour and tasting that was fabulous and well worth the visit. They served up the best breakfast with something different every day. I can truly say the best breakfast I have had on my three week trip. I will definitely be back to visit!

This is a fantastic gem of a hotel. Immaculate rooms, pool and grounds. Great breakfast. The staff Giovanni, Rocco and Enza were a joy to deal with. Would definitely come again. Don’t hesitate just book it.

Superbly located exclusive hotel, located a few minutes walk from the centre of beautiful Tropea. Excellently generous rooms, well equipped and luxury toiletries also provided. Fabulous pool area and underground parking was very useful. Excellent staff, helpful and friendly and superb varied breakfast.

Do yourself a favor and stay to this fantastic location. Staff super helpful and friendly. The rooms are super spacious clean and they ave very large balconies. I’ll definitely stay again here!

Nothing but good things to say about Sui Generis. Easy free parking, great location close to center center but away from the noise, great staff particularly Rocco at the front desk, beautiful and comfortable room, lovely breakfast and a wonderful rooftop pool with views of Tropea. Highly recommend!

Sui Generis was perfect. We didn't want to stay right in the town center, and this location was incredibly convenient. It was only about a 7-10 minute walk to anything we did in town. The room we had was huge and clean (they do a room cleaning 2 times per day). The breakfast and cappuccinos were perfect. I enjoyed the pool after the long day exploring where there is a bar and view of Tropea. And, OMG the staff was amazing and so helpful. They went above and beyond my expectations. Rocco (amazing) helped me navigate my journey from Sicily to Tropea, booked restaurants, taxis, etc. I felt so well taken care of. And Anna (also amazing) helped me book a car -- by the way, the car was delivered to the hotel and all I had to do was go to the front desk to sign some papers and get the keys. And, parking at the hotel was free. It was so easy. I'd definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Quick overnight from Positano to Taormina. We’ve been to Tropea and wanted to show our children on our way to taormina. This is a beautiful hotel that is close to the train station and Old City. Beautiful pool and wonderful morning breakfast area.
