When we got there it looked ok we then looked under the bed and it was full of mess half eaten burgers and straws crisp packets and lots more rubbage put us off our stay completely and also breakfast was supposed to be till 11 every day I went down at half 9 one of the days and said can I have a breakfast please and she answered no I'm working on my own so not doing breakfast

Quality of room and bathroom poor. One bin in the bathroom only. No towel rack, no hooks to hang up clothes. Kettle in the room without cups or glasses. Window was broken and didn’t close. Saturday night had a karaoke/live music at the pub which didn’t end until around 2am so it was impossible to sleep. Shelves were falling apart with screws lying around on them. Insufficient pillows on all beds and they were incredibly thin. Ordered breakfast on Saturday morning which wasn’t delivered until 90 minutes later. Definitely wouldn’t stay there again.

Room clean and comfortable, but very small. Didn’t expect much more for the price. Just needed an overnight stay. Very little parking and had to get up at 7 to move the car.

Planned this trip very early and didn't realise it was a big national weekend, so everywhere else is expensive and decided to go for this inn due to my budget. This is my first time staying in an inn, so it's worth noting that maybe my expectations aren't on the same level. The building itself seems old, it was a really long walk from checking in to the room. The room itself wasn't bad though, decent space and facilities. Personally I prefer to boil some water to drink but they didn't have a kettle in the room, which is fine and possibly normal for an inn. The sound proof is also not the best as the building is quite old itself. You can easily hear people bumping to the wall next door or other guests opening and closing their doors. This was quite distracting as it happens late at night. The window opens outward, so when it rains you get loads of raindrop noise on the window and it affected my sleep a lot, but closing the window would just be worse as there won't be any airflow. During check in, the lady was busy chatting to a customer in the pub so she only gave me a form to sign and room key and told me where to go. I didn't realise there was another exit we have to take when the bar is close in the morning, eventually I found my way. Probably a common practice for inns, to check out, you just leave your room key in your room and leave. I thought that was a bit odd for an inn with about 30 rooms and not 10 rooms.

Not a family accommodation!Stay clear with children please!!! Dodgy area and only on street parking which we not felt safe to leave our suitcases in the car! We walked into establishment and left with a other booking to spend the night prior a flight from airport! Not a place to stay with our 17y old! We gave it a Go after unsure first impressions (and of course they had already taking photo ID which we found rather strange, and asked us to pay so what more could we do!) Well, really the price should have given it away when I booked! Looked at the room and then walked straight back out! Terrible area and unsavoury clientele in pub plus guests staying, more like a hostel. Than a family owned B&B pub! Nothing like described for sure! Barmaid CORONATION Street style checked us in, not very friendly, more as we were a inconvenience! Too busy serving grubby punters.Room not reflecting photo images, clean yes but dated and more like a "One hour hostel" and we didn't even spent that long there!Windows not shutting properly and it was cold in the room.Uninviting bed cloths, we Would not have dives under the sheets! So we turned on our heel to run!Booked a Ibis nearer by to safe ournlingnaeaited holiday after Covid!Can't belive it made it onto Hotel.Cim booking platform!Obviously it wasn't vetted in Person!What a hole for a family to stay!Juk!!,

The staff were so friendly and helpful! The rooms were clean and just what you needed for a cheap city get away. However one of the beds in one of the rooms was very uncomfortable, almost like some slats were missing but for one night it was no issue. The breakfasts looked incredible and a good price for sure. Will be returning again

Photo ID required on check-in. Room 23 was clean. The bath towels were fluffy. The water pressure in the bathroom was good. The pillows were about 1” thick. Bed jammed in against window. No kettle/tea/coffee in room. No iron or ironing board in room, although these are advertised. There was no remote for the TV nor was there a spindle on the toilet roll holder (manager said these are regularly stolen by visitors). Wallpaper was hanging off the wall. When this was reported, manager said “oh, has it come off again?”Radiator was not secured on the wall. The roller blind was damaged. Only one coat hanger. Bathroom bin hadn’t been emptied after last occupant. No other room offered when requested, as the manager said they were full. Rooms are not soundproof. There is no lift. Had to park some distance away on the street as secure on site parking is very limited.

No pillow cases on the wafer thin dirty pillow, called reception too ask for some they stated would be getting a delivery later and would be put on when we were out (never happened so had no pillow either) tried too talk too someone in the morning and had the rudest lady upon check out Iv ever come across so skipped the food and just left! Avoid with everything you have total disappointment grubby unwelcoming and damn right rude

We had lovely stay at Saltely Inn. They are very friendly and helpful. I would like to book this again for my next stay.

The room wasn’t cleaned from previous people that stayed. Bag of rubbish left in the room, dirty towels left in the bathroom and bed was messy

Rooms very small for the price , no tea and coffee , no lift for older guests.

Staff were lovely & friendly. No room for anymore than 4 cars, which then would be blocked in as very small car park which is not sign posted. No lift to rooms, which are up alot of stairs.
