Beautiful hotel with great amenities. Staff was great.

The front lobby is really pretty with the fireplaces the staff was very friendly throughout the stay, we mentioned it was our wedding day and 10 minutes later we had a charcuterie board delivered to our room which was a very nice touch. Only thing I would suggest would be for the coffee maker in the room the were no utensils to stir the coffee with, that would have been helpful. The area is really pretty, there's a lot of construction going on right outside one end of the complex but once that construction is finished then it should be a really pretty place to stay

Staff is still lacking after a full year of poor service. We love it there so a self serve attitude is what we go in with and basically serve ourselves as if we’re just renting a condo. The staff can be snarky also. Property is beautiful and clean and we have been coming since it opened and will continue to do so. Ever since Tyler left as the manager the place is fully lacking any good service or help. It’s sad because it’s an amazing property and the food is incredible also!

The light that shown in the room all night long was unbelievable! From the car headlights that are parked directly outside the window, as well as the no privacy windows, to the blinds that beamed the street lamps and cars through the cracks and the ceiling air conditioner, temperature screen, wow!… beamed a spot light in the room like the moon shown all night. Terrible! It was like the sun and the moon shown all night long in the room. Terrible set up on that level. Customer service wasn’t very informative and was charged twice on my credit card. And the teeny, tiny bathroom… hardly had space on the sink counter for my toothbrush. TV shows didn’t work, kept buffering, couldn’t watch anything. Beds were so soft, the two of us sunk to the middle. Just not a great setup. It was clean I’d say, probably because people ask to be moved because of the terrible, unfavored ambiance you get while trying to sleep.

It was a great hotel with excellent rooms. The food in the restaurant (breakfast and diner) was excellent. We did use the sauna and swimming pool and liked both. Overall would definitely stay again.

We loved the beautiful surrounding mountains. Our boys had a great time in the pool, sauna & steam room. We also enjoyed the game room. Our rooms were also beautifully furnished & comfortable.

Kitchen and washer dryer excellent during our long trip.

This property allows pets which is fine, but the room across from us kept a dog in the room that whined and scratched at the door all night and all morning. Be aware that if you want quiet you may not get it since down at the end of the hall was another barking dog. I was so sad since we thought the property was nice and thought we'd come back.

Great property. Awesome big rooms

We have just returned home after exploring for 2 weeks. With over 4000 miles of travel we were looking forward to a lovely evening planned over the chain lodging we had been using. First, when booking, there was this statement about someone waiting to greet you. The clerk watched as I struggled to get out a luggage carrier. When my husband and son came in, though we are use to it, it was easy to see the discomfort that we had a special needs son. But, now comes the true discomfort, especially at the charges for a room. Our son is a corporate safety director for an international company and I had him look at the pictures I took. We can't believe what poor planning went into these accomodations and the dangers that the bathrooms represented, and NO, we don't need a handicap accessible room. The bathtub is at least 24"'s deep. There was no bathmat or a textured tub bottom so that you didn't slip. The class enclosure into the tub does not move and there are no bars or handles for safety. My husband and I helped one another so that there were no falls and after a day of travel were almost reluctant to get in. We booked a room for 3 travelers and there were only 2 towels. My husband left to get ice and had to go to the bar according to staff. It was the low point on our over 5000 trip exploring our country.

Had breakfast the morning before my checkout and I received burnt bacon. There was no one around to come by to refill my coffee. No one came to provide the bill until i went to front desk.

It was breathtaking! Immaculate! Very very comfy.

Sleek design, view from room was very nice, fireplace in living room of 2 bedroom unit was welcome. Plenty of space in bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living room. The room interiors lacked a warm personal touch. Loved the fact that dogs are welcome, even though we hadn't brought ours. Restaurant staff was exceptional and food was really good. My only issue was cleanliness of bedding and bathroom floors.

This was a wonderful place to stay. Everything was clean and comfortable. All of the staff that we came in contact with were very kind and accomodating.

The property is absolutely beautiful and my family and I had the BEST and an unforgettable experience at Black Rock Resort. The service from the staff was not only friendly and very informative but was excellent at making the check-in process seamless. My family and I arrived to the resort two hours prior to check in time but still managed to check us in early anyway. Awesome. When we arrived to our 2 bedroom unit .. it was very spacious and absolutely CLEAN. The furniture to interior and set up was really nice. Bedrooms are greatly size, beds are very comfortable, the double bed were also great in size. fireplace is such a plus while it being summer. I must say.. this resort has everything: nice clean gym with latest equipment, very roomy sauna, My three kids ages 12-11 enjoyed both the outside pool and most of all the game room .. the game room was lots of fun! We enjoyed it a lot! Bartenders are friendly and cool. There was even entertainment at the bar too. Plenty of commercial malls and good stores nearby, most of all I truly loved that Whole Foods was so conveniently close to the resort which made my grocery shopping a breeze. I wished we stayed longer. My family and I are planning to come back again and spend more time at the resort and try the two floor units. They were sold out when I tried to reserve two Months in advance. Seems need to rsvp the bigger unit waaay ahead to have the ultimate experience. Overall experience: 10/10 across the board.

Only a one night stay but was super comfortable and would definitely recommend especially for a longer stay to enjoy the property and surrounding sights!

Beautiful and clean. However, the bartender didn’t know how to make an apple martini. Then, at dinner my husband got a shrimp scampi pasta and it was a “soup” of butter with few shrimps floating on it. Not good at all. Then, the next morning the hotel fire alarm went off around 8:30 making everyone to walk out. However the staff in the front office didn’t even look at all the guests evacuating. It was a false alarm and we heard it from another guest. Few minutes later, the alarm went off again and nobody told anyone that it was another false alarm. Luckily we were checking out. The hotel is a gem but with a lot of “bumps”. Lack of supervision.

Unbelievable view, property, staff, ammenities, room, bed. Everything in the suite was absolutely perfect. I've been traveling for 30 years, and this is my best stay in the US.
