Nice property the fact we felt protected and the rooms were clean.and spacious. The front desk clerk was horrible!!!! This was the worst check In I have experienced since traveling for years. She was rude and nonchalant!!!!if I hadn’t paid through Expedia I would have asked for a cancellation plus we were tired from traveling!!!Hilton please teach or have your employees to attend professionalism classes. I’m going to stop

There was dirty spots on the carpet which made you feel like the carpet in the room wasn’t clean. In the lounge while waiting on my ride the chairs were all dirty. I was trying to find the cleanest one so I could sit

Excellent Friendly Staff. House cleaning did an amazing service.

I reserved and paid up front for a room with a king bed. We we're given a room with double beds. The receptionist bluntly said there are no other rooms available. No apology at all. My wife and I never sleep apart but because of Hilton Garden Inn, Memphis we had to sleep in separate beds for the first time. Whats the point in paying upfront for a room???

There was no hot water for a shower and the grill closed an hour early without notice. The staff was nice, but that was about it.

Nice spot for business

I booked a king sized bed and when we arrived they said they had none!! They told us they only had queen size beds. We booked this room in plenty of time. We left and drove around town until we found another hotel on our own with an availability.

Everything was great

This area has lots of options and when I paid $350+ for one night I was expecting a little more but next time I will look around first. It was nice but nice like $140-$200 a night for the market, nice.

I will definitely be back. The area is really nice and quiet and close to all the shopping you could want.

Staff was amazing

The TV stopped working in the room. When I was ready to leave the elevator stopped working. I had to carry all my luggage down stairs. Go back up the stairs and get the rest of my luggage to bring down the stairs.

We reserved a king room and was told they didn't have any. There was no apology and she just blamed the computer. I asked if we could be moved to a king room at some point during our 3 night stay and was told no, without ever looking at the calendar. It's ironic because they have a big sign in the elevator "The Hilton Garden Inn Promise: If something isn't just the way you like it, simply let any hotel team member know, and we will make it right." Otherwise the hotel was priced well, in a safe area, with easy parking.

Affordable and very well maintained; loved the safety and quiet and it was very clean.

The Hilton was comfortable, safe and very friendly staff. Will definitely stay here again!

Awesome! Just off Poplar and easy access to interstate

After 15 hours of driving, we were confronted with an unfriendly desk attendant and a broken AC unit. We were holding our dinner, unable to eat, for 45 mins because the desk agent “had customers.” I have yet to understand what we were. A kind word, apology, or simply listening would have gone a long way. Imagine this: You have two starving kids; it’s 9 pm; youve just finished 15 hours on the road. You walk into your room and it’s 80 degrees. You call the front desk. The front desk says to wait. You sit patiently, watching your food get cold while you sweat. After 10 mins you call back. The sour-faced woman from your check in says, “I have customers; I can’t do that now.” You wait another 10 mins, then head down 3 floors to speak directly with grim-faced attendant. She then explains again that she had customers. I tried my best to kindly explain the issue. It has now been 30 mins. The irritated attendant decides to give us a new room with a working AC. All said and done, we entered our room (1 room to the right) 45 minutes later. We received no money back, no upgrades, and no apologies for the inconvenience of a broken AC. We celebrated with cold dinner and a bitter taste in our mouths.

New hotel in a safe area of Memphis

My big complaint was that the in-room Keurig coffe makers did not work... first faulty unit was replaced. Neither unit worked; did not heat the water for coffee. We had to get end of day coffee from the hotel lobby. Unpleasant. All other aspects of the hotel were fine. But hot, quality in-room coffee is important to me and my wife.

The property was easy to locate. Beautiful entry. Very welcoming.

The rooms are not soundproof; you can hear the lobby music all night long. The staff didn't clean the rooms even though we requested service. The room overall wasn't very clean. Conteniental breakfast is normally included but here is was extra. The selections were all old and stale.

Booked a king room and when I checked in they told me there were not any available. Front desk staff was very rude.

It was clean and quiet. I loved the drink options at the bar and the food was delicious.
