Loved the room layout. Very comfortable bed and sofa.

Close to JMU with good restaurants within walking distance

The room was quiet and clean. The beds comfortable. The breakfast was the typical hotel food, just adequate, nothing special.

Bathroom tub didn’t drain well so it pooled up when you showered. Pillows on bed were small and not very comfortable. No garbage bags lining trash bins. Hot breakfast was not good, good selection of other stuff though.

I was very happy with the hotel! Very nice rooms and very clean. Offered a great breakfast. I was there for the JMU Family Weekend and the complimentary snack and goody basket was a nice surprise.

We have stayed here a few times now traveling with our baseball team. The people are always friendly and the hotel is always clean.
However, on this last trip we had a 4:00 game so we went to check in at 2:30 and they asked for a $30 early check-in fee because the college had a football game. How unfair is that?? To charge me an extra $30 for 30 minutes or anytime for that matter on a room that I’m already paying $250 for. Which is a lot more for than I have paid in the past. If the room is ready, why should I be charged an extra $30?
Not a good look!! We are already supporting your business in a bad economy and trying to squeeze your customers is not ok!!

The room was very clean. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast wss good and offeted a hugj variety. Coffee readily available. Thete were plenty of areas allocated for recycling. Front desk staff friendly and helpful.

My stay was satisfactory. There was nothing exceptional about the hotel but nothing terrible either. I would possibly stay there again if I were in the area, but I also would not hesitate to stay somewhere else.

To be perfectly honest, I was really disappointed this time. We've stayed here a few times before but may be looking for other options.
Pros:
Walkable options for dinner, room was clean, and the breakfast was good.
Cons: when entering to check in the young man was busy on his phone and it took minutes to even acknowledge us, very uncomfortable. There wasn't a luggage holder in our room, he did check the room next door but still didn't offer 1 for our room. The room was smaller and no desk. When leaving for dinner, the woman at the desk had her phone on speaker and carring on a conversation about how a person left no tip. I know getting reliable help is tough but found both to be unacceptable.

Love that Harrisonburg is a college town. Great walking park across the street for the university. We were passing through on trip between NC and NJ. Great stopping point for the long drive.

Received email from hotel for mobile check-in. When we got there at scheduled time, they asked the same questions all over again. What was the point of the mobile check-in? Gave us our room key, went to room only to find it wasn't ready yet (after the 3:00 check-in time). Sat in lobby for a bit waiting.

The beds in our 2-queen room were made differently one had a light blanket one did not. My bed was weirdly lumpy. The shower control did not work and only gave hot or scalding water. The floor of the tub was extremely slippery. The overflow holes in the sink have never been cleaned and were lined with black mold. Gross.

The property is dog friendly, and so there was a noticeable dog smell as we walked into the room until we turned on the AC. Given the amount of the smell, I am not certain that my dog allergic son or husband could have stayed there. otherwise a great property.

Everything is great at Cofort Inn. The staff is friendly and helpful. My husband enjoyed the breakfast of eggs, potatoes and fruit. I am vegan so i have to bring my own breakfast. The only problem is with the coffee it is awful, so weak it tastes like dirty sock water. We always use Comfort Inn wherrver we go and that is a problem with the entire chain-- horribly weak coffee.
