HIGHLY recommend this gorgeous boutique hotel. Akra has the kindest and most helpful staff, the most unbelievably stunning views as well as being an all round flawless looking hotel. Very clean, beautiful pool, cannot recommend enough. The Gyros platter from the restaurant was the nicest thing we ate all trip!

This is a beautiful little hotel with a stunning view of the caldera from the infinity pool. It is exceptionally clean, with modern and spacious rooms. The staff very all very friendly and accommodating and had an excellent attention to detail. They included many extras to make our stay special.

Akra was a great location! Easy to get to from where the taxi drops you off. There's lots of steps in Santorini so I was prepared for the worst carrying the luggage but it was easy. Breakfast was very good. A mix of everything, great coffee. The gentleman helping with breakfast were so kind and helpful. Reception staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms are very nice. We booked a deluxe suite because we wanted the plunge pool and view. The plunge pool was cold, we only used once. And the pool was right at our doorsteps with a lounge chair and table. We used the pool when it was hot out. The only downside is the public walkway outside, non guests would stop to enter to take pictures. I understand the view with the pool is killer, but some people are just ignorant. This is not the staff or hotels fault. I would highly recommend staying at Akra. I did a lot of research and honestly could not make up my mind and then settled on this hotel with no regrets. Walk down the street and Rent an ATV to drive around and explore the island. You can drive easily to Oia day or night. So much cheaper than a taxi. You need good runners for Santorini. So much walking and steps, but good exercise and we were good with that.

Lovely accommodations and friendly staff.

We really enjoyed our stay at Akra. We were there during a quiet time of year and the resort actually closed for the season after our last night there. Beautiful property and can’t say enough good things about the customer service we received during our stay. Delicious food and you can’t beat the views from the balcony of the honeymoon suite.

Absolutely brilliant stay at Akra Suites! Amazing service, the hospitality staff and restaurant staff couldn’t be more helpful. The room and surroundings were comfortable and beautiful. The location was exceptional if you want to stay away from the overcrowded Oia or Thira area. However Thira is a 10min walk away and everywhere else is very accessible from the hotel. Absolutely loved it! 😍

The front desk staff led by Georgia are really nice, they provided the best recommendations on making the most out of our experience including restaurant recommendations, transportation and accommodated our requests. The views are breathtaking from here.

We definitely recommend Akra Suites. The staff were nice, professional and helpful. They helped us with shuttle transportation, restaurant reservation, laundry and room service. They also have delicious breakfast. Our room didn’t have the best view since, to see the caldera, we had to go to the main shared pool. Except from that, it was a memorable and pleasant stay and we recommend it to others. Also we loved the tranquility of Imerovigli, compared to Firostefani and Oia.

Not sure what to say about a hotel that sleeps 30+ people, but has pool chair space for 8 people only. One of our days was spent waiting for people to move so we could lie at the pool. Given that Santorini has few beaches, the pool is an attraction, so be prepared to arrive early or you’ll be outta luck. 2: Unless you have the one room in the hotel with a balcony view, you will not have a caldera view, despite what it says. Only the restaurant and pool have caldera views. 3.We were told by staff we could use a table near the pool, only to be rudely told by other staff to move since it did not ‘belong’ to us. We were also told that we weren’t allowed to use a spa pool right next to the main pool since it was not ours. Fair warning, we removed ourselves upon request, with no argument. Thereafter, in the hotel restaurant full of guests, the hotel manager Christina accosted us loudly, telling us we had ‘two complaints’ against us. Apparently Christina has zero clue about hotel management etiquette. Later, she apologized, saying she is ‘a very loud person’. As an apology, she offered to let us use the spa for an hour. Big deal - she failed to tell us we had to ‘book’ the spa – and then refused to let us use it, telling us she wasn’t going to pay the spa attendant to wait on us for an extra hour. 4.At 8 AM on two mornings, I was woken up by staff yelling at each other right outside my room. Essentially, this is a two star hotel with five star prices. Spend your money elsewhere.

The room we stayed is below restaurant, every time when chair moves in the restaurant, the noise was much amplified and absolutely unbearable in the room, as early as 7:30am in the morning and as late as 11:30pm in the evening…which is absolutely terrible, when informed the receptionist, she told us they are aware of the problem, but told us nothing they can do, seemed they do not really care about it at all. it is not really a room for 3 people, the so called third person bed is not a bed, is the sitting area along the window, very narrow and uncomfortable. Anyone consider to book a room for 3 people in this hotel Should not go ahead. The second day it was raining, water came in from the window seal along the the third person bed, which was really horrible and inconvenient especially considering it is a reasonably new building…

The service at reception and the restaurant was amazing! It was cooler than normal when we stayed in May so we would have liked the hot tub to be warmer but we did enjoy our stay.

I didn't expect it to be this amazing, I am.so glad I choosed this hotel, book at least 22 nights here, the views from here aree I think the best of Santorini, don't even botheer to stay in OIA , this plave is beyond incredible, staff areee super nice, 10/10 recommended

The hotel manager, Georgia, Michalis, Leo, Giannis, Erie, and many more were extremely helpful and friendly. Their services were always available and attentive - they completely exceeded our expectations. The breakfast selection and view were amazing. Booking any service through them was made easy and efficient (especially the shuttle ride to the airport and car rental). Much love from New York (efcharistó).

It was an amazing trip, the service was incredible (special thanks to Georgia for all the excrement recommendations and the amazing treatment). The food and breakfast was also very, very good, and the view from the hotel to Caldera are from another world.

We stayed in a honeymoon suite, the view was amazing and a room was smaller than pictures, but nice and very clean. The location is great, right in the middle of town, but never got too crowded. The hot tub is only 25° so too cold if it's windy. There is also no privacy in the hot tub , you are right in front of a restaurant. The bed was a little too hard for our taste. The food options are great, you have nice restaurants and cheap street food right there. Staff was polite, but housekeeping walked into our room even though do not disturb sign was on. Restaurant staff was very friendly. Breakfast was included and had a great variety. Overall beautiful property , we would recommend it.

Akra Suite is in my opinion the gem of Imerovigli. The gorgeous view and beautiful suits were phenomenal. However, what makes this place special was the exceptional service. Georgia the front office manager and Michalis from the hospitality team made us feel like family. We miss them already. You will not regret your stay at Akra with these two genuinely kind people there with you.

We stayed in the honeymoon suite for 4 nights in September. The room was amazing and had the best view of the sea/island and of course the sunset! Make sure to request the honeymoon suite that's at the front of the hotel for the best view.

We had the best stay at Akra Suites! It was our first time in Santorini and we’re so glad we chose Imerovigli and Akra. The staff were warm and incredibly helpful and the facilities were fantastic. You get an incredible view from the hotel pool over the caldera, which is perfect day or night. The rooms are very comfortable as well.
