The staff were welcoming and friendly. Free breakfast was typical so-so offered in many hotels. Arriving tired and late, we switched rooms after getting settled because the deadbolt on the door did not latch. As it turned out, the second room had the same problem.

I’m sure the hotel is nice but beware of the 7 day cancel policy. Most other hotels are 1-2 day, I had to pay for a room I didn’t use and wasn’t allowed to reschedule the date either. I won’t be looking to book this hotel again bc of that reason

We enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were to my liking. The stay would have received 5 stars if the lights bulb in one lamp had been working and the clock was not plugged in. The vents in the ceiling were dirty. Otherwise the stay was great. You must remember to keep your room key in the slot to operate the lights and not forget your key when you leave. Haha. We were next to a Royal farms convenience store and a restaurant. There is a walmart supercenter within a 5 minute drive along with a strip mall with restaurants. Staff seemed to be ok...not overly friendly but pleasant.

Was completely satisfied. The only negative was the bathroom floor was dirty. The 24- hour coffee was, I believe, instant coffee; I had to pour it out.

New/modern, clean (should be a given), quiet, close to a couple of restaurants, has a pool, and even an automatic pancake maker!
I would definitely stay here again when visiting family.

I needed an option close to a family member that I was visiting and this worked out perfectly. The rooms and facility is nice, they have a pool, and a firepit. Staff was friendly, and there was nothing to complain about!

Expedia was really the one who screwed me over, not the hotel. Hotel was average. The AC in the room kept switching to heat, which was odd. The location has nothing scenic about it, but I guess I expected that. Pool was nice. Breakfast was decent with plenty of options. They did switch my ground floor room for the second floor without question, which made me feel better as a single mom traveling with kids. Overall, decent. We would stay here again, but I’ll never book through Expedia again. Huge mistake.

My only issue: Bathtub retain water and the water drain VERY slowly (Room 303) Everything else the facility was spotless with an affordable rate per night considering we reserved very late in the summer.

Peaceful and quiet inside and outside, wonderful farm view from our window. The front desk staff was so nice and very helpful with directions and restaurant recommendations, I really felt they would have done anything to make our stay pleasant. Everything was clean and looked pretty new to me. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The room had several energy efficient features which I’m all for and appreciated. I would most definitely stay there again if the opportunity arises!

The air outside the facility is not pleasant, but inside you would never know. It smells very clean and fresh in the hotel and my room was well-appointed and spacious. I had a very enjoyable stay.

50$ deposit for smoking clean up, you should be notified or at least made aware of another fee. Instead, when you get here, its a hard time in the world with inflation prices. Definitely unnecessary, and later in the evening no room service and my sheets had dry blood on them

The area is very convenient with restaurants and very accessible to the beach (30 to 40 minutes to Rehoboth beach) the hotel itself is clean, the room is clean and organize. The breakfast is amazing!! I highly recommend the pancakes!! Thank you!!

I really like this place very clean very comfortable when it's convenient to highway 1 and their shops right around there farm store liquor store Buffalo wings and a couple other shops that I can't remember right now but it's going to be into Milford until highway 1 I will stay there again

This property was clean, the staff were very friendly, our stay came with a nice little breakfast bar, and a lovely little coastal town is only 25 minutes away. The room was cute, and the price was very fair. We enjoyed our stay.

Staff was amazing. We checked in around midnight. The staff said your checking in so late if you would like I can give you a late check out so your able to get some more sleep. We did not even have to ask. Then when we opened the room door it smelt clean. It was spotless.

My family loves to stay at this hotel we've been coming down from Pennsylvania for the last 3 years. It's only a 25 minute drive to Rehoboth Beach but the rates are much cheaper. We love the quietness and cleanliness and proximity to many dining options. Grotto Pizza and Buffalo Wild Wings are right there in the same parking lot basically. You have the Royal Farms gas station and convenience store on the other side as well which is great for snacks and filling your tank between trips. Liquor store just opened up right next door so you can be in and out with a bottle of cold wine in a minute or two. The outdoor pool is small but gets the job done. The staff is always very friendly and accomodating. Highly recommended for families of 4 or less on a budget.

Had never heard of Microtel. Very pleased with the quality of breakfast and the friendly and attentive staff during breakfast. Our room was nice, comfortable. Eco-friendly feature saves energy by requiring room key for lights, AC.

Room was not dusted and had a bad odor kind of smell like bug spray. The bathroom had no counterspace at all very small.

Very clean and comfortable stay, hot breakfast was a plus. Will definitely come back on our next trip!
