Long gushing review ahead: I honestly can't say enough good things about this place. We've traveled all over and this is one of our favorite places we've ever stayed (if not THE favorite). We walked in after a full day of travel and were greeted by lovely staff members. They grabbed our bag and immediately told us to have a seat and relax, and asked if they could make us a drink (they were delicious!). Usually when I've been at an open bar, it almost seems like the bartender resents ordering multiple drinks. They kept offering more! And every time we came back, they offered drinks and asked if we'd like to take a soda, cocktail, or water out the door with us. They were just so generous. When we came in from a hot day of exploring, they handed us cold towelettes from the fridge that were infused with lemon oil, to help us feel refreshed. The service was just unbelievable. We felt so welcome and they helped us pick restaurants etc. The rooftop is charming! Great comfortable seating with a nice view. They also upgraded our room to a room with windows and a small balcony at no extra charge, and without us having to ask. We liked our room and found it spacious. It had a mini fridge, a place to hang clothing, and two luggage racks. The bathroom was small but we don't mind that. Really tall ceilings. Right across the street from our room was a church, and we were lucky enough to hear beautiful music from their service. I didn't find the street noise to be a bother, although I

The hotel is very old which gives it its charm but with it comes some drawbacks. Pros - absolutely excellent location in old San Juan. Right in the heart of everything. The building has a lot of character given the age. Open bar is a nice feature. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. Cons - there isn’t an elevator. I think there a five floors so that can be an issue. They took care of our luggage arriving and departing. Rooms are small and simple.

Adults only. Very friendly staff and lots of amenities! Safe environment.”

This was a great stay at this hotel Service: A+ Thanks Luis and peer for been such a great representants of the hotel and for going above expectations. I have nothing else than positive remarks for your service and willingness to make the customer happy. Housekeeping: In general looks good but there are some areas being upgraded/repaired that needs attention. I am sure this will not be an issue soon Comfort: I do not need anything else to feel like home there. The bed was excellent as well as the operation of the air conditioner. Hotel instructions were clear and easy to follow and anything else required the champions there took care of it.

The staff at the hotel are super nice and made it a great experience. Other hotels could learn a lot from them!

The place is beautiful and safe. Had a minor inconvenient and staff was so kind and help as soon as they can. Staff is great, the manager was so kind. Love the drinks at entrance. Only recommendation: an update on bed sheets.

Place is a beautiful old building, but most important the staff is great, very attentive and so willing to make you feel welcomed. Location is great and this place is in the middle of everything.

Old building. Small shower. Excellent bar in the hotel. Wonderful and helpful staff. Clean and in excellent location.

The staff was amazing. very friendly and informative. Any time we had a question they were always there to answer. It was nice getting a beverage anytime we wanted. They also provided these cold wet towels after coming from exploring puerto rico. Every morning you would wake up to the fresh smell of Fabulouso. They really care about the maintence of the property and their guests.

From the moment we stepped in- customer service/charm was bursting at the seams! Stop waiting and just book it! (Hot water- I like to get lobster red, not an option for me- better for my skin I suppose & to cool down after hot humid days touring)

Really good spot for the price!! Open bar room had an outdoor spot with some hot tub action so it’s cool and it’s in the heart of old San Juan. No elevator so you might have to walk to the 4th floor so keep that in mind but staff is extremely helpful and friendly would and will stay again

Will definitely be staying here anytime in San Juan area. The rooms were a little small but their staff was amazing and helped to our every need. And of course their open bar was a plus too.

This was such a find! Perfect location in Old San Juan, clean, nice rooms, great roof deck, amazing open bar and best part? The staff! Cristian at the front desk and Juan at the bar, in particular. So friendly, hospitable, knowledgeable and helpful! They make you feel like family! My go-to hotel in Old SJ for sure. Loved it!

Luis and everyone else was really helpful and accommodating towards me and my fiances requests. Its a nice walkable area where if you rent a car except for driving to be no fun at times since its everyone going right when they see an opening and a bit of hetic driving. Overall the stay was nice and the views were amazing. The views looked good every where you could see from buildings, the water, trees, animals, and so on. They even give you suggestions on place to go as suggestions. As well they give you a spot to a parking garage where they give you a voucher to reduce cost if you are renting a car. - Sephiorth Rivera

Everyone we interacted with at the front desk & bar were terrific; always helpful & sharing the good energy, regardless of the off-season weather. We'd stay here again if we make it back to San Juan; thank you guys!
