I've stayed for 1 night and it was very good.

Conveniently located to the convention centre and a short stroll or tram ride to Southbank and the city centre. Friendly staff. Great breakfast

We liked that all 3 of us were in same room. Was comfy. The staff were very helpful and nothing was too much for them. Wish hotel was a bit closer to city shopping. Too far to walk as a bit older guests. We survived but ended up getting Ubers everywhere as not familiar with the distances to certain attractions. One downfall was no tea bags or sugar for a cup of tea. Only 2 mugs for 3 people.

This hotel was a lovely surprise. The staff are excellent. Our room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was quite nice with a great selection to choose from. I had read in previous reviews that the area was awful but it was only a short walk to crown and the dfo at south wharf. Plenty of public transport offers can be found around here. It is a shame that the parking isnt undercover and is a 5 min walk away, but its not that bad! We were just unlucky that it was raining on the day of our stay. All in all i found the amenities great and i thought the hotel was very reasonably priced. I would definitely stay again.

Clean and modern..small walk to river and restaurants but good access to motorways and easy parking.

Everything was very clean and well maintained, complimentary water bottles. Check in was easy and helpful. Parking was cheap and nearby. Pool and restaurant also very nice. Walking distance to Southbank and DFO. 11am checkout also nice for a sleep in.

We were welcomed as soon as we walked in the door and did not want to leave! Great location for staying in the city and near Southbank. Staff and service was lovely and room was spacious! We cannot wait to come back again soon!

Staff and service excellent and very nice hotel overall

AC Hotel Melbourne Southbank is now my favourite hotel I have ever stayed at. I travel for university and for leisure semi frequently so I have had lots of experience with hotels, and this one beats all of them. Every member of staff I interacted with over my stay was absolutely lovely and is a level of customer service I don't think I have ever experienced before. The pool was beautiful and frequently had a member of staff cleaning it and the surroundings, the buffet breakfast was always fresh and had lots of variety everyday, and the rooms were meticulously cleaned daily. The location is also great, about a 20 min walk to the CBD or a $10 5 min uber ride. I stayed for 6 nights, and was given a room upgrade when checking in for the length of my stay, and about halfway through my stay was delivered a fruit bowl and a hand written note for choosing AC hotel by a worker who was sincerely thankful for our time. I and the rest of my group agreed that the next time we come to Melbourne we will be making a point to stay here again because it was that great of an experience.

We loved our stay here! While it was only one night, we were treated with warmth and courtesy by all staff we encountered. Nothing was too much trouble, we left our bags there early as room wasn t ready yet. Came back in the afternoon after some shopping and our bags had already been dropped at our rooms when we checked in. My daughter was given friendship bracelets by the staff before we headed out to the concert, a very nice touch. Room was modern and of a good size with clasay modern decor and a king size bed. While trams were out our window, they couldn't be heard and the room was very quiet even though it was on level 1. Great coffee machine and kettle for breakfast, robes and slippers also in the room. We were able to leave our bags at the hotel for the day before we caught a train out of Melbourne in the afternoon. Will be checking in once again the next time we return . Loved it!

Reception on level 7 was a pain as we didnt know where the hotel car park was (and there was no one manning the desk on the ground floor). Was a bit of a hassle checking in and figuring out where the car park was but after that the stay was great. Thankyou :)
