Beautiful room, excellent location.

Being at the front door the room (Murray Suite) was a little noisy with people entering and exiting property.

Great location, just a short stroll to shops, restaurants, seafront, old course, castle and cathedral. The room was excellent; spacious and contained everything we needed for our short stay. I loved that the bathroom had various shower settings and had wonderful Arran Aromatics products - very apt! Breakfast was provided (large and delicious croissants, also fruit) and set us up for the day nicely. The small fridge had a selection of goodies (no charge) which was very thoughtful too, thank-you!

On the Friday night, we could hear loud music playing - not in the adjacent rooms but it felt like we were close to a nightclub or bar with music. It did die down eventually though. It might be worth confirming with future guests to the 'Munro' room that they have no mobility problems as it is up 2 flights of stairs.

The bed was comfy.

We were not happy about the door of our room being right next to the hotel entry. We could hear everthing. Not very private. If we had know this we wouldn’t have booked. There was also very limited wardrobe storage(none) but yet an overly large bathroom.

Up there with the 5 star hotels we've stayed in across the globe, the Dux room we stayed in was beautiful and was very comfortable.

From start to finish this was excellent. The communication was excellent, they accommodated a later check out, super fresh coffee and fruit in the morning. Lovely room, lovely bathroom and toiletries. All round just lovely.

Great location. The bed was extremely comfortable & the room was clean & beautifully decorated. Staff were very friendly and the complimentary items in the room were a lovely touch. Will definitely be back.

Great location, lovely big room and shower room, immaculate clean

Excellent location, spotless rooms and very good complimentary food and beverages. The beds are super comfortable and the bathroom sizes are luxurious and a big plus is a strobe mirror which is a nice touch along with excellent products from Arran. Plenty of plug points! Linen was high quality and very fresh. Charlie was super helpful and all staff is eager to help you. Cannot forget to mention that heating was perfect and always cosy - a rarity in chilly St Andrews. Baggage storage can be requested but do plan for it in advance!

While there are very few downsides, I will mention that are no plug points near the wash basin which is a shame for especially women who style their hair, additionally some bathrooms may be outside your room so check before you book! Overall great.

Reception was lovely, room was spotless and the bed was unbelievably comfortable. Would definitely pick to stay here again if we came back to St Andrews. We were also able to stay an extra 2 hours for a small fee:)

Not really a negative point but it would have been nice to have the option to have some alcoholic drinks in the room but this is just a suggestion

No breakfast despite Booking.com saying breakfast was served at the hotel. Under-equipped room for an aparthotel. I would not have booked this hotel had the booking.com website given an accurate description.

Great hotel in city centre. Check in easy and lived the extra touched with French milk and complimentary soft drinks in fridge. Also host left out fresh fruit and croissants for people who were in the go in the morning. Would stay there again lovely hotel

Very comfortable bed. Loved having cold milk in a glass bottle for the morning!

Not that the hotel can control its neighbors, but our lovely garden suite was not as lovely thanks to the raucous, drunken college co-eds in the alley.

Large bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom had the shower and also bathtub. The bed was really comfortable. Nice and clean.

We could hear people talking from rooms next door and on Saturday night people down the road.

Modern amenities in a traditional area were the exception not the norm. Angus went above and beyond in making certain that we enjoyed our stay. Will definitely book again when we return to St. Andrews.

Room was very modern. Bed very comfortable and good quality bedding. Staff were friendly and helpful when needed. Location was excellent, near the beach but also near shops and restaurants with free parking on the street.

Room was quite warm- there was a ceiling fan so this didn't impact our stay negatively.

Nice and close to all the attractions we wanted to see. Could park our car and walk everywhere.

The level of noise in the area was quite high.
