The location was fantastic and we were able to access a shuttle to and from the airport. All amenities were very close by and Milan Hair next door are brilliant. Eli's customer service was amazing all the way though and I would definately recommend calling him

It was a little hard to understand that the motel was inside of a motel if that makes sense, but was not an issue at all as we were given full support from Eli

Deceptive: this property / business is called 'Darwin City Apartment with Harbour View & Pool'. What this means is that an independent business person has a number of apartments and hotel rooms within the 'Mantra' building in the centre of Darwin well away from the water. He rents out these apartments in an air B&B style arrangement. The different apartments have different attributes. One might reasonably expect that when one books a room through 'Darwin City Apartment with Harbour View & Pool' that one will stay in an 'apartment' and that one has 'harbour views'. Not so. That's just the name of the business. So when we arrived at the end of the day ready to relax at the 'property' we were met by a guy at the bottom of the elevators with a key card to what proved to be a standard hotel room without a Harbour view (on your tippy toes some harbour glimpses probably fewer than 5 degrees of the view from the balcony) - instead of view of the air-conditioning plant on the building adjacent. I contacted the contact person and explained that in my mind an apartment at least had a kitchen or food preparation/consumption area and possibly laundry facilities. He then offered to upgrade us to what was a Darwin city Apartment with Harbour view; on the level above. Kitchenette, laundry facilities, reasonable harbour views. I felt taken for a fool. In the apartment there was one double bed (not King not Queen, double). Not especially comfortable. The owner of the business justified putting us in a standard hotel room without a view because apparently that was the room that we had selected. I feel that if a business advertises itself as 'Darwin City Apartment with Harbour View & Pool' then as a prospective customer am I might reasonably expect that to be the offering. I think this man needs to change the name of his business to be less deceptive.

Nice facilities, good view, quiet

Pool closed for maintenance - in the hot weather a swim would have been great. Didn't get the key details until I landed late at night and had limited internet to retrieve them

Apartments were very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Eli was very helpful in allowing early check in and late check out.

The balcony had partial ocean views, but overlooked a large and noisy air conditioning unit on the roof of the adjacent block. There was also a quite loud humming noise like a noisy fridge in the bedroom but we couldn't track down the cause.

The bathroom had water blocked every day and I had to shower with water in it. The TV was too small

Eli was an amazing and accommodating host and was always quick to reply to help us.
