Price was excellent, room was clean, full kitchen was great, they offered a coupon during trip for 1 more day which was awesome and an unexpected surprise, normally we wouldn't have been able to stay but this time it all worked out and we added 1 day to our trip getting to Wake up at the beach on her actual birthday was awesome.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable it really could use a memory foam pad or something, but overall the stay was excellent

Loved the views. It was amazing to stay right on the beach and have immediate beach access. Even though it was slightly dated everything was clean and had newer updates throughout the room. We stayed here during the weekday and didn't have any issues with noise from other cabins.

The only downside was it was hard to find our room because they're not in order.

Wonderful view from a decent sized balcony and it is in a great location close to activities and walking distance to several restaurants. The unit was a large space, nicely furnished and a well appointed kitchen. Very nice gas fireplace. I appreciated that I was able to have covered parking although the space was very narrow and would not be able to handle a much larger vehicle (I have a Mazda CX-5 a mid sized SUV). I liked the easy beach access from the hotel using a somewhat steep concrete stairway. The room is on the second floor but felt solid, no floor creams when I walked. I could hear some footsteps or bumps from other units above or beside my unit but I felt there was pretty good insulation because the few sounds I did hear were muffled which was a big plus for me. I didn't hear water running or toilets flushing from the other units at all. Even though the hotel is on busy Hwy 101 but I never heard any traffic noise in the unit.

Furnishings, particularly the recliner chair could use some TLC or be replaced. The recliner is worn and not that comfortable. I had to sit on a bed pillow since the seat sagged so much and would start to hurt my lower back. The lever to lift and lower the foot rest was sticky. The door knob going out to the deck needs some WD40 because it sticks. Both the kitchen, bathroom and shower faucets have issues trying to moderate the temp of the water. I never could get very cold water in the kitchen, only a tepid warmish temp. Water temp in the shower fluctuated. Lots of paint chipped off the wall where the recliner had probably banged into it when the person put the foot rest out and the back went back. The whole wall needs to be repainted as it has been touched up before with paint that didn't match. Looks tacky.

Accessibility excellent. Bathroom could use a good update but it was fine.

Beachfront access was amazing and the rooms were great. having a kitchen in the room was also a big money saver! and it allowed a more fun personal experiences by cooking with the people I stayed with!

No elevator

The location was perfect! We were just steps from the beach and I was able to lay in bed and see the ocean. The bed and couch were comfortable. There was a broom and dust pan provided, which ended up being very nice because we were able to sweep the sand away on the patio area so we didn’t track it inside.

The area just outside our patio door was furnished with two nice chairs, but it would’ve been nice to have a small chair side table to put snacks and a drink on. Next time we come, we will pack TV trays to use.  The kitchen area did not have any counter space for preparing food. The tiny counter between the sink and the stove top is about a foot wide and that is all the area we had to prepare our food on. A butcher block or small island would have been nice. Just something to give a little more surface for preparing food. There was one night stand on one side of the bed. It would have been nice to have a second night stand on the other side of the bed. Also, the only usable outlet was over by the kitchen on one wall. There were extra pillows but no extra blankets. I was glad I brought one blanket from home to be able to use as it got chilly.

Location was great with an amazing view. Size of the unit was perfect for my little family. Easy checkin and checkout.

The beds were a bit hard and no elevators. The parking is super tight and anything larger than a small car is very difficult to park in garages and spots.

It was a bit expensive

We love staying at the Sands, especially the ocean view and the beautiful sunsets. The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was great for cooking up a meal.

The room could’ve used the couch oriented towards the TV instead of facing the bed in order to relax. We only experienced one problem— that the fan was running in the bathroom above our room, throughout our whole three days, was loud and never stopped.

Spacious front room. Great view. Easy access to the ocean. Loved the Murphy bed for extra space. Loved having a door code instead of a key.

The TV in the bedroom didn't work. The front desk staff seemed really put out for any requests. Would have been nice to have a vacuum cleaner to help with sand clean up. Could use updated decor but was clean.

The ocean view was amazing and the balcony was great to sit and watch the waves. I love that there was a full kitchen and the bedroom was separate.

Good communication from the property with the benefit of not actually having to speak to anyone. The information packet was very helpful. The location was great with easy beach access, and the bed was very comfortable. The room was cute with a comfortable couch and it was very helpful to have appliances, dishes, and silverware provided.
