I did not stay there because the toilet is outside the room and it is not mentioned in bookings apps

Feel like ‘balik kampung’. This is our second stay. The first one was Merbok house. And this time we choose Puyuh house. The caretaker En.Rohim were really helpful in making sure all in good condition. Definitely will come back!

Liked the place a lot, it was quiet, comfortable. Liked the most of the idea staying in a Kampung House
Stayed in Rumah Merak, the bath was in the other house, had go up and down of the staircase which was too narrow to step on. Hope the management will loom into improvising the staircase to a broader one. And the bath of Rumah Merak there a mirroless window in the bath, it's would be better to close it as it looks like not save for the ladies.

I love the ambience, the kampung style. Before this, I came to Penang by staying at the hotel. After discovered this homestay, I felt I'm staying in a house, waiting my husband everyday to arrived from home (he works in Penang and I work in Perak, so during school holiday I visit him). I will come again, for sure!
The mosquito on the first day. We bought the mosquito repellent, the our problem solved.

The environment is nice , can jogging, swimming, cycling.
Got many ants in the room and cause we unable to put our food inside room and need to put into car. Toilet got some smell, dunno how to describe.

The facilities are great and the ambience is truly delightful. It's the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy some peace and quiet.
Great place to introduce my kids to classic wooden houses from the past. They loved exploring the surroundings and learning about the history of the area.
The toilet/bathroom is not located in the same unit as the house that we got. This might be a challenge for elderly or disabled guests, as there are quite a few stairs to navigate.

Other tenants are noisy. And I did email asking about the toilet situation but no one replied. I have elderly with me and it's not convenient for them to go outside to go to the toilet early in the morning.

We were unlucky, the house which we stayed has septic tank behind it which causes a really bad smell

Can consider add a tv at sosial area. And swimming pool a bit small🤭
