Great villa for family and friends

We’re just home from our holiday where we stayed in the Villa for one week in April. We were a group of 6 adults and 3 children so there was more than enough space for all of us. The villa is beautiful with all the amenities you would need. We paid extra for the pool to be heated and made regular use of the hot tub. We hired a car for easy access to local towns but taxis were also available. I would recommend this villa to any group.

This villa was equipped with everything you can imagine. Upon check-in the villa was spotless and a welcome pack of goodies was left for our use. Towels were changed and bathrooms cleaned midweek which was a nice surprise. This villa is suitable for all ages. The kids especially enjoyed the pool, cinema room and hot tub. We really cannot fault anything. Located in a safe neighbourhood. Had a fantastic time. Filipe was always available to assist.

We were a group of 9 (2 families with teenagers/young adults) and spent 2 fabulous weeks in this large villa. The villa is spacious and well equipped with plenty of activities for adults and youngsters and a large garden. The closest beaches are 25 minutes walk away. We ended up taking the car. We found plenty of restaurants in the area - you need to check what’s open when at the moment. We made good use of the bbq and delivery service for those days we stayed at the villa. We really appreciated being able to have a holiday this summer and loved all the space and amenities the villa had to offer. Highly recommend for large groups.

Villan är placerad i ett lugnt område, mycket avskilt, på 5 min promenad till snabbköpet, restaurang, 5 min till stranden där du hittar en mycket trevlig strandbar. Om våra föräldrar ville åka till Vilamoura fick vi dem en taxi som var billig och snabb, även Filipe levererar stormarknad gratis, oavsett hur stor eller liten din butik är, vilket var riktigt bra. Villans bilder gör det inte rättvisa, det är mycket rymligt, gott om utrymme för hela familjen att umgås eller tillbringa lite tyst tid själv. Vardagsrummet var rymligt, med trevlig inredning, köket var mycket välutrustat, TV, spelkonsol (Playstation) bra biograf, alla sovrum har luftkonditionering, inte att vi tillbringade mycket tid inne som ute var bara fantastiskt, loungen området var fantastiskt bra miljö på natten! Sovrummen var superrena, våra öppnade för att se över poolområdet, vissa rum hade balkonger. Sovrummen hade massor av förvaring och utmärkta badrum, hand- och badhanddukar levererades med bokningen, plus strandhanddukar! Den bästa tiden någonsin var precis utanför, helt enkelt fantastiskt, bordtennis, Bluetooth-musikhögtalare, en massiv pool med massor av solstolar och parasoller runt omkring och barnen hade så kul med gummibåtar, perfekt för de små. Sedan finns det badtunnan längst ner i trädgården, vi älskade det och det var perfekt för kvällarna. På kvällen lyser trädgårdslamporna upp poolen och trädgårdsområdet, så vackert. Men jag tror att vår favorit var det massiva utomhusbordet, massor av stolar bredvid grillen, som hade ett härligt täckt område inför poolen och trädgården. Grillen faktiskt använde vi den för att göra nästan all vår matlagning eftersom den hade allt du behövde inklusive kyl, frys, stora drycker svalare. Fantastisk semester. Högt rekommenderad!!

This wonderful 6 bedrooms villa, was no doubt the best choice for our holidays! As a big family, we couldn't have been more pleased with the space and commodity... we we're 15 people, Filipe the host is very helpful, he managed to get us 2 air-fold beds for the extra ones when we arrived. It has an impressive gymnasium as the pictures on the advert are outdated you just cant really believe. We got use of the hot tub, we spent most of the time at the villa, we all had a ball! We'll be coming soon definitely!

This is probably the most beautiful place I have ever stayed at! The villa was clean & comfortable and in an ideal location, just a 10 mins walking to the beach and 2 min short drive to the super market, vilamoura marina is at 5 mins . Filipe was amazing helping throughout the whole experience! The location was great!

We had a truly amazing holiday! Placed in a quiet surroundings, all amenities are at a few mins, Trafal beach and its outskirts its fabulous, looks like a movie scene! Cliffs and golf courses all around the area, there you go and then you find a beautiful lake with birds all along till the sea, amazing!! Plenty of space, nice garden, plenty of sun loungers, the lounge area seemed a perfect place at night as restaurants and shops are closing quite earlier due to corona. The villa was spotless, the cleaning service was very good. We required heating pool and hot tub, which is a must! Filipe the host was great, when we arrived he waited for us, and left us with a Portuguese traditional custard tart and a fresh and cold prosecco, nice start! Highly recommended!

Perfect place for a family group, stunning place! We were a party of 16 people, and still there was plenty of space for more people to stay in. The rooms are very spacious, was very clean, perfect layout, plenty of seating area! Fantastic location, beach at 10 mins walking, supermarket at 1 km, restaurants within 10 mins walking (1km). The beach was at a short drive 3 mins from the villa, less than 1 km. We had BBQ almost all nights as most places closes quite earlier due covid, perfect time for the family for the three generations! Filipe arranged transfers from and to the airport, was quite straight forward once we landed to head over to the villa. Also a truly gymnasium for the boys, we asked for heating pool and hot tub which was fantastic for October weather! Will definitely come back, pictures don't do it justice!

We stayed as a group of 12 at this villa and it was absolutely amazing! The children loved the pool and the lovely garden, well-kept and very spacious by the way. It's very private and completely secluded. All the required amenities were provided, the kitchen is fully equipped, pool table & ping pong, gym equipment, washing machine, WIFI (that a lot of people used at once and it worked fab ). The villa is only a 15 minute walk from Lidl and about 25 minutes walking to the beach. We also got quite a few taxis and these were all reasonably priced but Filipe has arranged good car hire that make it easier for us to explore other beaches. I would also thoroughly recommend the Aquashow Park (only 5 minutes up the road in a taxi and lots for adults and children there). Filipe was extremely helpful , easily contactable by phone or email. We had maid service mid week and the jacuzzi was also cleaned. I would 100% recommend this villa. Thank you Filipe for a brilliant service and 5 star stay at your villa!

We had a great holiday here. We made great use of the pool and hot tub and also the beer! Thanks Felipe.

We stayed as a group of 13 at this villa and it was absolutely amazing! The two children loved the pool and garden, which was very spacious. It's very private so you don't have to worry about anyone being able to see in and the security is brilliant. Big electric gates at the front and electric shutters on all the windows. We all felt completely safe there but it was still good to have all these security features for peace of mind, especially with two young children there. There are two double bedrooms on the first floor with balconies, a double and 2 single beds on the ground floor and a double and 2 single beds in the basement. The basement was really spacious with the games room, gym and cinema room down there too plus the washing machine, tumble drier etc. The villa is only a 15 minute walk from Lidl and about 25 minutes to the beach. We also got quite a few taxis and these were all reasonably priced. About €10 to Vilamoura and Vale do Lobo. We decided to walk down to the restaurants in Vale do Lobo on a cooler day and it took an hour so would recommend a taxi for that journey! I would also thoroughly recommend the Aquashow Park Hotel. Only 5 minutes up the road in a taxi and lots for adults and children there. It was very clean there too. Filipe was extremely helpful throughout the booking process and when we were at the villa. Easily contactable by phone and email. We had maid service mid week and the jacuzzi was also cleaned. I would definitely recommend paying the extra to have the heated pool. Even in July it was still quite cold in the pool but once it had heated up it took the chill off. Ideal, especially for the children who spent hours in there! There are lots of inflatables too (we bought a few extra and left them there). I would 100% recommend this villa. On the day we returned from our holiday we were looking at Filipe's other villas for our holiday next year! Thank you Filipe for a brilliant service and 5 star stay at your villa!

Our stay at the villa was fantastic. We were 10, children included and everything was perfect ! A lot of things to do even if the weather was not so good : watching a movie in the cinema room, playing ping-pong or darts. But when the sun came, the swimming-pool and jacuzzi were fantastic ! The only little negative thing could be that sometimes the water of the showers was suddenly cold and then hot. Beautiful bathrooms and bedrooms, enough chairs, tables and dishes ! Filipe was very friendly and we will certainly come back!

We visted the Villa for a week we had a briiliant time. We were a family of 14 there was plenty of space for 9 adults 4 children and a baby .Filppe was very helpful giving us local taxi numbers and advice on were to eat. We were there to chill Lidel is close we got our food supplies there. The villa is everything you ask for and more no shortage of anything,everything was on hand did not have to ask for anything. Even got a surpize when wd had a mid week clean that was not expected. The Villa was spotless and really high spec. Our stay at the villa was rather disappointing. The photgraphs of the interior and exterior of the villa doesn't match reality, as the villa looks worn and in need of updating. The villa was very cold on our first night, as the under floor heating wasn't turned on as promised. The pool was also cold on our arrival, even though it was promised that the pool would be heated to 28'C the week previous. This was very disappointing as it was a main attraction of our choosing of the villa, making the children very annoyed as they were unable to use the facility. Although we were fully refunded of the €200 for the pool, the hot tub became contaminated the following day and smelt awful. This facility had to be cleaned out , taking all day , meaning we were unable to use it for most of the remainder of the holiday as it took days to finally heat. Overall, our stay was very disappointing, and for this reason we will not be renting here again.

What a pleasure to deal with Filipe who was thoroughly professional and responsive from beginning to end. We were celebrating my husbands' 50th birthday with the whole family, 12 of us in total. The villa was immaculate when we arrived with everything catered for from beach towels to a beer tap outside the kitchen. We had 4 children with us and their needs were catered also from a heated pool to games room and the cinema room went down a treat to watch a movie in the evening. 5 out of the 6 large rooms were en suite and it allowed everyone to have their privacy We had a problem with one of the shutters and the very next morning, Filipe's father was there to fix it. It is a 15 min walk to a lovely quiet beach and a nice little beach bar to soak in the beach view. All in all it was a very relaxing, enjoyable holiday experience and the villa really made it for us. Thank you Filipe, we will definitely be coming again!

My overall impression is brilliant. Filipe and his team were helpful in every way. We had a fantastic time as a group of friends with children in the villa. The accomodation had everything we needed, the private terrace at the bottom of the garden was a perfect hideaway for the kids. We had superbock on tap what more could you ask for. We stayed in this villa for 1 week and with 12 adults, 2 children and 1 infant and it was hard to find a villa that suited all their needs BUT this villa is absolutely fantastic. It provided all the amenities that we required- the kitchen (cooker, dishwasher etc), pool table & ping pong, gym equipment, washing machine, WIFI (that 15 people used at once and it worked fab), a heated pool which was the perfect temperature for the children, spacious garden for the children to play in. The seated area at the bottom of the garden was lovely to cool off in during the day and to relax at night time. The BBQ was brilliant, the hightlight for the men was the availabilty of the beer keg outside! absolutely fantastic. We just had to order the kegs in advance and the owner had them for us on our first day. The bedrooms were lovely and spacious and the beds were very comfortable. All bedrooms bar 1 had ensuites which was fantastic. The TV which included a 'sky' type box had so many channels to choose from so it kept everyone entertained. Filipe, the owner, was SO helpful. We were on a early morning flight and check in isnt until 4pm but he allowed us to leave our luggage in the villa when we arrived and we went off to explore the neighbourhood. He happened to have a rental car outside on the morning we arrived to drop off our bags which he kindly lent us for a couple hours while we did a shop in lidl (which is a good 20minute walk) which meant we didnt have to carry the shopping home! He also provided a stair gate for the stairs leading down to the basement for the children which was brilliant. He also sorted out a technician for the air con asap as one was leaking in the bedroom which was brilliant. The beach is at least a 15 minute walk away and there is a couple of restaurants aswell. To walk into the town i would recommend a taxi. There is a waterpark which is a 10 minute drive away which we would highly recommend - it is absolutely brilliant!!! This villa is PERFECT for families who just want to go away and relax with nothing around you.

We stayed at the villa for two weeks, it was a family holiday eight adults and three children. We were met by Filipe at Faro Airport with three new cars supplied by him a welcome change from the hassle of car hire at the airport, he led us to the villa just as expected it was exceptional and delightfully furnished, the cleaners were just about finished as the previous visitors had had a party on the last night and left the villa in a poor state it was soon returned to clean and welcoming sight. We had the pool and jacuzzi heating and everything worked perfectly without any power outs. The cleaners came in regularly and did their jobs very efficiently, after a wonderful two weeks we met Filpe at the airport to return the cars and thank him whilst there he returned our deposit as the cleaners had arrived as we left the villa and said all was well there. Would highly recommend this villa and Filipe's efficient dealings.U

We rented the villa for a week for a family holiday and also to have our wedding ceremony in the garden. It is a beautiful villa, very modern indoors with a large pool and a great gazebo in the garden. The owner couldn't have been more helpful, even offering to come over very late at night to try and help us get the football working on the TV. It was the perfect place for us to stay.

We have just returned from a weeks holiday in this huge, beautiful villa which has a large garden and in a very peaceful area. The family holiday was to celebrate my daughter's 30th birthday, and there was a wide range of ages, including 2 young children. The villa is really spacious and has been tastefully furnished to a high standard with lots of facilities, and a fantastic swimming pool (we found it very worthwhile paying the extra to have it heated as the children spent hours of fun splashing around). The sunbeds are plentiful and very comfortable, as are the outdoor sofas in the huge gazebo in the garden which we used a lot as it was lovely area to relax in when the sun was at its hottest. The kitchen is well equipped and and there is a huge dining table under the veranda which is great for bbq's. There's plenty to entertain- 2 huge tv's, (full sky package included), a well equipped gym area, pool table, dvd, free wi-fi which was great . Comfortable, Air conditioned Bedrooms and modern bathrooms are very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We felt very secure as there is not only an alarm, but electric shutters which you can draw down on all windows and doors. House also has a safe to lock away passports, valuables etc. Filipe the owner is extremely helpful, and is always contactable by phone or email if you have any questions or problems. Car rental is another service he will be providing soon, which will make hiring a car nuch easier, and which I would definitely recommend (although taxis are reasonably priced if you dont want to drive on holiday). Worth going into Vale Do Lobo in an evening, lovely restaurants and cocktail bars. Must try the 'Chicken Shack' - (Marufo 1 - very casual and busy - opposite Lidl - 10 mins walk from the villa). I would highly recommend this 5 star villa for a fantastic holiday.

We just returned from a week stay in this fantastic villa which we booked to celebrate a 70th birthday. We were a group of 11 and we have previously used affinity villas to book our stays and we were very impressed with the service and help we received from Filipe (owner) and the villa on the whole. The villa is located a few minutes drive from Quarteria and Vilamoura and a 5 minute walk to a Lidl and some local restaurants. There is a water park 5minutes drive away which is great for kids and the beach is a 10min stroll. The villa is in a nice quiet neighbourhood with complete privacy, not overlooked by surrounding properties. There is plenty of seating areas and loads of space for kids to run around the grounds of the villa. The villa was immaculately clean and has been finished to a very high standard throughout. There is a cinema room, pool table, table tennis and gym area complete with cardio equipment and weights. In the evenings we had Satellite TV with Sky sports/Sky movies to entertain the kids and Wifi is also provided by the owners. The pool is well sized (2.0m deep) and heated and there is an outdoor Jacuzzi which seats 6 comfortably. This was the highlight of our 4 yr olds holiday! The pictures of the villa are exactly what you will find and it definitely has the wow factor. We did not experience any problems during the week and I would not hesitate recommending the villa to friends and family. In fact we are already planning our return trip next year, that's if we are lucky enough to get a booking as we understand the villa is heavily booked for 2015 already-this is surely a sign of how popular it has been. If your looking for a high end villa in a quiet location but still close to all the amenities you will not be disappointed.

You will be impressed by the villa as it is lovely & very spacious for a large party. Filipe (owner) greeted us on arrival, “call if any problems”. After we handed over the balance, it started to go wrong. Within 10 mins, the power cut out completely. This continued for 10 days 1-10 times a day. The power tripped the pool heater which did not come back on. The 28-30deg promise of pool temperature barely reached 21deg. One hot day the pool reached 26 deg- then, power cut again & lost the heating, that was it. Day 2, I cut open my finger wiping the side of the hob which was cracked. I was advised it must have been damaged during the previous family's stay - very dangerous. One night power failed every 10 mins, at midnight whilst alarms going off, waking kids up, I had had enough. We were advised this power failure was 'our' fault for turning on floor heating. FIlipe himself turned on the heating + the contract states "aircon/underfloor heating included". He quickly retracted this 'blame' & agreed to return our pool heating charge. Filipe's father whilst trying to fix the pool again, my husband requested a partial refund as we had been sold a 'premium villa' but receiving awful stay. Rogier agreed, shook hands to refund us "tomorrow". We never saw Filipe or his father again. Neither answered calls/emails. I advised Filipe by mail of a broken glass, to deduct this from breakage deposit & let me know when this would be returned & we would be leaving at 8am...I asked this question 3 times - no answer & no-one showed up. At 9am (waited as long as we could) Filipe's brother arrived with deposit +pool heating cost. We got blamed for overstaying too. My contract states 10am check out. We left at 9.15.Filipe has now sent an extremely rude email blaming us for the issues. We were then accused of causing the cracked hob ourself - not only untrue but impossible as we hadn't used the hob in the 12 hrs we had been there! Filipe told us "there are always families like you who don't want to pay". Highly insulting. The back doors don’t lock either. We advised Rogier this day2 & promised it would be fixed. They weren’t so highly unsafe & open to break-ins which left my sister panicked. The villa is not in Vale do Lobo it’s a 10min drive away in Trafal. Pick somewhere else so your holiday isn’t ruined by problems like ours. I have all the emails and unanswered phone calls documented if you want copies, I will happily send them to you as proof. We had a wonderful family Holiday in this lovely villa. There was 12 of us and the Villa was spacious enough to accommodate us all brilliantly. Beautiful Gardens and stunning views. Very Clean throughout. Well equipped with everything we could possibly need ,including entertainment for the children. I would definitely book again.
