The staff didn’t respond with us very good when we have questions about the hotel and prices and when we try to understand by ask a question or 2 they respond angrily and say that they don’t have time for us!! It’s weird really weird.

No car parking area. No air-conditioning provided in the room, had to use an electric fan for ventilation.

loved that it was in a quiet little town not touristy at all. very quiet and a beautiful view of the lake. We sat out on our deck in the evenings and enjoyed watching the sunset and would walk down to the lake and sit. The breakfast was delicious and we ate one dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was delicious also.

Amazing friendly staff. A good breakfast spread with views of the lake. Some rooms with breathtaking views of the lake. The location was good with a beautiful church opposite with a small water pier. Very friendly small village feel with a short bus ride to either Spiez or Interlaken. Rooms were nice and warm even with poor weather outside.

Rooms were pretty dated with the wallpaper and flooring coming off in the bathrooms. Bathrooms felt dark and could use some more light. Got backpain after a while on the beds, would recommend some better mattresses. Would like to have some more basic facilities like hair dryer and kettle. Rooms are not soundproof, one night didn't get much sleep as some other guests checked in late and were very loud. Bus frequency is pretty poor with 1 every HR and no train connectivity so need to plan in advance. Note: this is not a modern hotel with any modern fittings so don't go for it if you want something super clean and modern.

The location was perfect with a great view to the lake. It was quite and peaceful . The hotel staff especially the hotel manager Lisa were all so friendly , easygoing and helpful . Highly recommended .

If you are tall , make sure the edge of the bed is not high , otherwise your sleep won't be comfortable. I had this experience the first night and next day they were kind enough to change the room for me .

It was a very cozy, small and clean place. Very peaceful feeling.

The pillow was slightly too big for my preference. ☺️

Hotel rooms are slightly dated and could do with a bit of updating!!! Clean and comfortable though

The owners were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. We loved being right on the lake and also so close to the main bus to get around.

The bathrooms are a bit old and not ventilated very well so there is a bit of a mouldy smell. However the bathrooms and room were very clean.

The locations is wonderfull, the breakfast is great!

Check in is too late 4pm, after driving for about 7 hours I have to wait 1:30 to make my check in.

Unbelievable views and a huge balcony made this a great stop over. Well located for Grindelwald and Interlaken. Good Parking available.

Definitely not cheap, but hey, its Switzerland.
