Very late check in at 4pm.People are waiting outside all day.Definitely needs to move the time earlier.People come in the morning to spend a day around and that time to check in in very uncomfortable.The toilet flushing worked bad.Room 154.But everything was perfect ,palette stuff ,facilities clean,location great.

Very convenient for beach and facilities. Staff friendly and helpful. Room needs updating and tatty. A lot of internal and external noise. No parking

Had a lovely time at fairhaven Hotel, I loved that the hotel was right opposite the beach and close to everything you would need ie shops, amenities & amusement, staff was really friendly and helpful and also loved that someone would come in and do room service if you wanted it, would recommend and also would definitely come again.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay at this hotel again when I visit Weymouth. Thank you Fairhaven

Near to the town center, beach,food places and pubs, public transport ,all within a short walk of the hotel

We had a lovely couple of days here. The room was very, very clean and the location is brilliant, right on the front. The staff were informative and very pleasant to deal with. Thank you!

First thing that hits you is the smell and mould, complains to reception she just said I know. Frightened to touch walls in corridors as dirty and not decorated in years, carpet stained and dirty.room was bland with no soft furnishings not even a picture. We booked for to night but left after one , how this is given a 8.5 rating god knows . Probably the worst place ever stayed. Just shows you can’t trust the ratings on these sites.

We loved everything about it, Hotel was lovely, everything clean, staff very friendly and helpful we will definitely be going back to The Fairhaven Hotel again

Hotel over looking beach

The staff and Tom on reception were outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was perfect for our needs and very good value for money.

The worst family experience in my 50 years. The hotel did not have staff after 9 pm and left customers to their own overnight only for staff to come in the Morning. I arrived late and could not enter the hotel, call the emergency number they left at the door but it was the reception number that no staff was handling because they had gone home. Very deceptive calling themselves a hotel rather than an apartment. Highly unprofessional quack set up in Hotels.com list.

Breakfast was lovely and the pizza outside was delicious! Staff very friendly, professional and very helpful.Above all we enjoyed our stay in Weymouth.

Great location. Property needs some money spent on it, very dated, and the beds/ mattresses were too soft for us. At the bottom on the beds the material has been slashed.

The lad on reception was pleasantly welcoming & very helpful we had a twin room with two different beds at the top of hotel which had the most uncomfortable beds my daughter had ever slept on - all we could feel were the springs digging into us all night which is certainly not ideal for the amount we paid Presumably the high amount that was charged (I even got it cheaper off a last minute site) was because of the location as the sea was just over the road which is great but not if you are only staying one night & have to be out by 10am or else you can pay an extra £20 for late check out at 12 midday we just managed a walk along the beach as went without breakfast (which was not included ) before checking out We mentioned the very uncomfortable beds before leaving & were told that the mattresses were eventually being changed alas too late for us to have a comfortable sleep !!!! It’s also quite a walk to park your car & carry your luggage back to hotel as well as no place to park outside as it’s on a meter & no space so not ideal Double rooms may be a lot better

Gear for beach

Hotel was being refurbished but we did not get a refurbished room unfortunately but the room we did have was clean and OK in a very good position for The Quay and bars etc. A good stay.

The place and the hotel was nice. It is near to all the places and berry local area.

Room was unbareably hot even with air conditioning unit, curtains need to be drawn when room is prepared for next guest. Too hot to sleep. Could hear guest in room above getting out of bed and going to the bathroom during the night. So had a very bad nights sleep. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I would stay again in a different room

Our family room was perfect and clean . Room had everything we needed. Beach is just cross the road . Check in was so easy and staff very helpful and polite .

Fabulous view from the room. Gorgeous old building with crooked stairs. Hot water wasnt working, wifi was very poor and kept cutting out, aircon wasnt working either, but the staff did sort out the water and aircon, which both worked well when fixed. The staff were great i couldn't fault them. The hotel needs to make more of an effort checking out the faults. And some towel rails in the bathroom would be a great improvement.

The actual building is closed and the rooms were very poor in condition. Were not cleaned at all for the entire stay duration. Expedia booked with breakfast and we still paid for it. Poor service by expedia too

The room was a good size. The Hotel has a Lift which was great as well as a Bar for a drink during the day.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was lovely, in fact it is the best hotel room I have ever had. Comfy bed, table and chairs next to a big window looking out on to the beach 😁 So relaxing and lovely to wake up to. Plenty of space so you don’t feel cramped. The decoration of the room was bright and neutral, no harsh dark colours. Will definitely return!
