We absolutely loved our stay. The photos presented on VRBO were shockingly accurate which is something I find rare these days! The home is very spacious and filled with light and perfect views of Skaneateles Lake. It’s very quaint and charming while also offering modern amenities through a recent renovation. They did a wonderful job of making us feel at home and were available with any questions we had during our stay. It was perfect for our family of 6 which included 2 elderly grandparents. The home is all one level which made it very user-friendly for them. We will definitely be going back! Thank you!

Stunningly beautiful, modern lakefront home. Well appointed, comfortable beds, and a great layout. Too late in the season to take advantage of the lake, but it would be perfect in the warmer months to swim, fish off the dock and do all kinds of water sports. Anne is the most wonderful host who's communication was excellent and went out of her way to accommodate our needs. Will definitely stay again!

Lovely house, inside and out, right on the lake and not far from town, with everything you could need. It was perfect for a family/friends getaway. The host/owner was very helpful and provided a lot of information about the area that made our stay more enjoyable.

We enjoyed ourselves with the stay at the house very much. It was so wonderful and beautiful. And Mrs ANNE LEE is so kind and wonderful. After visiting Metropolitan opera etc from Japan, we visited the house by renta-car. The house and the lake are so nice and so wonderful. And the winery near the house is also wonderful.

This lake house was very comfortable, clean, and well appointed. The main living space was very bright and has a full view of the lake from the entire floor. 2 of 3 bedrooms have a lake view and are spacious and the third smaller bedroom was nice. The kitchen was modern and had everything a cook needs- very well stocked. The outdoor space was great. Nice big deck, fire pit with chairs and an outdoor table with chairs. We stayed in April when the weather was not conducive to swimming or boating but the sunrises were spectacular! We did get a chance to sit out on the deck and it was just lovely. Nice washer and dryer too. If we ever come back to Skaneateles, we will stay here!

We loved Anne’s place at Skaneateles Lake. The only thing better than looking out a wall of windows and seeing only the lake, is laying in a comfy bed listening to the gently lapping waves on the beach right outside your window. This is a truly lovely house. It has everything you need, is impeccably clean (and I have a high standard for clean), is close to town, but far enough away to be relaxing. Anne was very responsive and helpful, check in was a breeze… and FRESH TULIPS on the table! We had zero criticisms or concerns. Plan to be back again for sure. Thank you for a lovely stay.

This was a wonderful, cozy, and relaxing spot to get together with old friends. Our adult disabled daughter joined us, and the single floor layout worked perfectly for her. The place was spotless and inviting. The main living space is open, with a beautiful view of the lake whether one is cooking dinner, sitting by the fireplace, eating at one of the two tables, or watching tv. Wifi worked great. The bed in our room (not the master) looked small for my 6'3" husband, but it turned out to be so comfortable it wasn't a problem. The home was incredibly well provisioned with kitchen and cleaning supplies. I loved finding warm blankets in a chest in the living room, a nice touch in winter. It rained both of the full days we were there, but a large covered porch deck enabled us to get outside and enjoy the sounds of the waves lapping on shore. Anne was very responsive and helpful, really making us feel welcome. Thanks Anne!

Absolutely charming town with lots to do. Restaurants, bars, shops and wineries. Everyone is so friendly is this town. This VRBO is everything you can imagine - an absolutely beautiful home on the lake with fabulous views. Looking forward to returning one day soon! Owners are very lucky to own such a gem!

Amazing place to stay while you're in Skaneateles. The house is even nicer than the pictures, if you can believe it. Gorgeous views of the lake from the entire house, with a beautiful deck, dock and beach area. The home is extremely modern, clean and comfortable — but still has a really cozy lakehouse feel. The location is perfect. Right on the lake, right across from the winery and yet still very close to the village. 100% recommend staying here.

What a great spot! Peaceful and relaxing, yet close enough to town for dining, shopping and fun. Hosts were incredibly nice and helpful with dining suggestions as well as day-trip ideas. The house was spotless and super comfortable! Views of the lake did not disappoint. We will be back!

Great getaway

Property is just as pictured and described. Lovely accommodations with fresh linens and super clean kitchen and bathrooms. Perfect location and lake frontage. Owners were accommodating and responsive, highly recommend! Can’t wait to return!

Beautiful location, amazing water views! The cottage was super clean and the owner was very nice and helpful. The house has everything you could possibly need! We really enjoyed our stay! Bring water shoes because it's all small stones until you get out pretty deep. The water is gorgeous and clear blue, definitely the best lake in CNY. Newer Landscaping was very pretty and stone steps leading down to the lake were beautiful. Had an 80 yr old with us so it was a little daunting for him to go down the steps with no handrails, but he enjoyed sitting on the wrap around deck. Other than that fantastic place to rent!

Stay for Syracuse graduation weekend with family. The house was right on the water-large wall of windows to enjoy the view. It was clean, kitchen was well stocked and the decor was beautiful. Anne was very accommodating and helpful with area recommendations. Definitely would stay there again and plan on it.

Gorgeous views, very clean, and comfortable! The house is right on the water - kids enjoyed skipping rocks even in the winter! Kitchen had quality pots and knives, and was better equipped than any rental we’ve stayed at. Great location with a short drive to town. Anne was very responsive, and we can’t wait to return!

My husband and I stayed at the lake house in February to perk up our Winter. Although, it was cold and we spent minimal time outside, we have no regrets as being in the house brought us much relaxation. The house is bright and spacious with gorgeous direct views of the lake, and is close enough to the water to hear the waves (with windows/doors closed). We had a wonderful time and would recommend it for anyone looking for a waterfront stay.

The house is absolutely gorgeous, the view is spectacular. It was -20° when we were there however the house was nice and toasty. The host was incredible. We loved it and are looking forward to staying there again. Highly recommended!!!

We had an amazing time at this house! It was the perfect size for our family of four and our kids loved looking out on the lake every day. We enjoyed walking around the area a bit, the kitchen was excellent for cooking and I highly recommend staying here!

My family thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay at the Lake House in Dec 2021, hosted by Anne! This home is well-appointed with open floor plan sitting right beside the lake. We especially enjoyed the wood burning fireplace in winter and spacious & well-equipped kitchen, it’s perfect for family. The house has everything you need for your home away from home. Not to mention the panoramic view of the Skaneateles lake - we could see the gorgeous sun rise from the living room! Anne Lee is the most thoughtful, gracious and hospitable host. It’s our first time renting from VRBO and our experience is beyond excellent! Richard & Brenda
