The price was great, 50% off for a Sunday stay. If we had paid full price I wouldn't have stayed and would have requested a full refund as the quality of the rooms was not as expected for a Boutique Hotel. More akin to student accommodation...
The room was basic, the bed was tiny (smaller than our 4'6" double at home), the mattress was so soft if one person moved the other knew about it and the shower knob came off in my hand. The TV was tiny and dodgily hung on the wall. Really disappointed...plus no one on site to speak to about it!!

Easy self access to hotel and rooms which were nicely appointed and comfortable. Cooked breakfast to order in the morning - Full English with orange juice, tea £13.95 right by A40 but. Wry well soundproofed.
Shower in room 11 stopped working half way through morning shower which was not great.

We booked a "superior doble room" but the shower didnt work.
We asked for assistant through an emergency telephone but nobody could be reach or nobody called us(the hotel has not people in reception and it is 100% contacless).
After leaving the hotel we send an email letting them know the situation and also we include a video to probe that the shower was not working.
However, the hotel reply to us with a 0% customer orientation attitud!!!!!
" My colleagues checked the shower upon housekeeping and have sent me the evidence of working order shower. I will forward by seperate email the evidence
I am not sure why your were not receiving any water I can only think it took a few minutes to run the water as maybe the same time many guests were having showers so it a little longer to come through
We have not had any complaints which is why I was rather suprised and the evidence supplied to me shows shower in working order. For this reason there is no discount or reimbursement.

This was much nicer that we expected the room was spacious and had all we needed. The only downside is no breakfast is served there.

Excellent central location. Contactless hotel but good communications from Staff ref keys, key safe, instructions etc. Room very spacious (twin room) very warm. Nice en suite shower. Quiet place. Perfect.

The entrance system took some getting used to and the bar and restaurant not open as it should be was a little bit annoying

It was very clean and comfortable.
The room temperature was a little lower than wanted and the bar closed before 9pm leaving us with no on site staff or service. Although the in room pack advertised breakfast as an option, we were told that they do not offer breakfast at all, when we followed the bar staff’s instruction and phoned to book.

Liked the ease of the check-in process and preferred not having to wait for someone to do this. Very comfortable and spacious room and bathroom (good shower).
Not the property’s fault but there was a power cut in the evening so it was difficult to find the hotel and then get inside. The TV remote wasn’t working as needs new batteries.

It is very easy to find. Spacious, clean, and comfortable. Quick responses to enquiries via booking.com messaging as no staff on site.
It's a shame the attached (but separately run restaurant cannot provide breakfast as this would be great. They were helpful in advising about local cafés but unfortunately one has no parking and the other 2 were closed. The artisan french bakery was the closest open option with great coffee and pastries

Room clean and well presented. Staff friendly and helpful when they were there.
Thought we were going to have breakfast in the morning. But there was no body about and restaurant was shut, ended getting a sandwich from the garage down the road, also had baggage transfer and they were unable to get in for the lougage staff apparently turned up at 11.10am in the morning so were able to collect baggage.

The property in general, the bedroom and the restaurant were very good. However, I didn’t have a good rest. I could hear the noise from the traffic and the noise from the next room’s bathroom. If you go to a hotel, you expect to have a good night rest, not noises. Rooms should be soundproof!
Breakfast was served from 9:00 am, too late.
There was not decaffeinated coffee in the bedroom.

there is some - inevitable - road noise and we found our “standard double” bed a little small, it may have been a standard 4’6” but it felt smaller - the room was good though

comfortable hotel with all that you need. It was a non contact hotel so you didn’t see any staff which was fine.
Shower was poor, some of the holes were blocked and the water stream was fine, took ages to get wet and didn’t feel like you had a shower.
