This was the perfect place to stay. Out in the country. The space was great.lots of room. And breakfast was delicious.

Beautifully placed house outside the city but very close to Reykiavik. Apartment was very nicely decorated with a comfortable kitchen. Very spacious, nice views, very clean and comfortable beds. You have to try breakfast - it's deliciuious! Home made warm bread, pancakes or cake, freshly cooked eggs, good quality cheese and ham, jam - everything served sooo nicely 🩷

Room is big, very nice design. Breakfast is good. Location just outside the city, 15 minutes from the center by car.

A great host, great location, great accommodation and facilities! Hot tub would be the only possible improvement but without doubt will return. Amazing breakfast all made freshly with fantastic choice.

Really cozy and comfortable studio apartment. The view is exceptional and staff is nice. The breakfast was lovely and over all the stay is really good value for money. We can highly recommend and will definitely come again. Takk fyrir okkur :)

very quiet and peaceful!

Absolutely beautiful location with views over the fields and sea , lots of birds (geese, ravens, oystercatchers etc) to observe from the window. Bright and super cosy. The beads were very comfortable. Everything was also spotlessly clean. We had a little kitchen that we didn’t end up using simply because we were out all day and returned late or ate out, but you could easily cook as simple meal yourself. Supermarket 8 minutes drive away is open 24/7. Bit outside of Reykjavik but I prefer quieter areas and this was perfect. The best was the homemade breaking Áslaug every morning with freshly baked break, cakes, fruits, eggs, jam, juice. Have never stayed in any hotel or BnB with breakfast that good. Áslaug was super friendly and kind and nothing was too much bother. We had to leave very early to get our flight so she left us some breakfast the evening before.

nothing really. it was expensive but for Iceland prices probably not. totally worth it and would book again.

The beds are comfy and the breakfast is varied.

The noise from the apartment above us was really loud, you could clearly gear there conversations. The walls are very thin. The host messaged me after my stay to say that she found a crack in the window and did not accept it when I said that there had been no accident during our stay. She then called me low and immoral and got personal about my son (15 years old) who is transgender. The only way that the host could have known is listening to our conversations. It's intrusive, unprofessional and discriminatory. I do not recommend that you get on the wrong side of this host.

Really quiet and cozy place with a very nice host! We loved our stay here and wish we did it for more than one night. Will stay here again without a doubt!

The guesthouse is a 15 minute drive out of the city centre which is just enough to feel like you can experience the calm of the countryside when you have finished a long, busy day. The view is spectacular, especially at night. The breakfast is AMAZING! Every day, there was something different with enough food that we could make packed lunches for the 2 of us and have plenty to last us until the evening. Aslaug asked us each day when we'd like to have breakfast delivered, to suit our plan, and accommodated us without issue. The apartment itself is fabulous; modern and clean, with a fridge and enough kitchen facilities to make a simple evening meal.

Aslaug's homemade breakfast is exceptional and one of the reasons we keep coming back to stay! She delivered it to our room at the time we specified, in the midst of a gale. There was hot basket full of wonderful goodies, as well as a cooler with lots more. We couldn't even begin to eat it all. There are many comfortable, hospitable touches, like a french press, cozy blankets, towel warmer, and more. We watched the gale through our gorgeous picture window (Hallgrimskirkja and the Presidential Mansion are clearly visible) and enjoyed the city skyline at night. Aslaug's style and hospitality is unmatched. Convenient to downtown Reykjavik and just a few minutes from Sky Lagoon. The perfect place to begin your Iceland adventure.

The shower is a bit awkward, as it doesn't have a glass enclosure, so most of the bathroom gets wet.

Beautiful Guesthouse in an amazing spot. View pretty impressive and the perfect retreat to get away. Breakfast kept us full all day :) 5 minutes walk to coast and saw the northern lights from there on our last day...perfect end

The location and property are so nice, so welcoming. We hope to stay here again.

Our stay was perfect. Cozy flat with comfortable beds, good shower, Netflix and a balcony with a brilliant view to the polarlights :-) Áslaug served a wonderful breakfast every morning and we loved it to cook in the evening. Thanks for these wonderful days. We recommend this location with 10 points.

I really liked the room in itself, it was super cozy. The breakfast was amazing and carefully prepared. One of the best things was the view from the room, beautiful skyline to fall asleep to and an amazing light to wake up to.

The only thing that "bugged" us was the shower drain which felt a bit clogged, so it might need some rinsing.

The breakfasts provided were, simply, sensational. They were so generous, delicious and varied - getting better every single day. It kept the whole family going and meant everybody woke up excited. Several hundred points out of ten.

We would love to have been able to turn the house round to take more advantage of the view... but difficult feedback to implement!
