The hotel's theme is "special", very 90's 2000's with lot's of golden things and statues of lions, etc. But I liked it, it was a different experience. Beds are comfortable, the bathroom is big and comfortable, breakfast was good and in general it was a pleasant experience. The view from my window was exceptional, I saw a stunning sunrise that woke me up and had my taking pictures for 20 minutes.

The only downside is the location, if you don't have a car you have to walk 2 kms to the nearest metro station, there's almost no way to cross the highway there.

Very unique property with an Egyptian theme. High, unfulfilled potential. Moored to the banks of the river you have spectacular views from rooms on the "river-side". Breakfast was about what you expect. Restaurant food was very good. The rooms are clean, quiet and well appointed. There is a small spa in the basement and you can order treatments in advance, either in the spa or in your room. The staff is very friendly and professional. Made me feel at home. You can take nice walks along the river. Even though one of the main car-bridges is 100 meters away, it is not noisy. I missed a pool so while I don't know how the water quality is in the river, a floating pool attached to the hotel would be a cool feature in the summer.

The roof of the hotel would make a wonderful sun-deck if they removed part of the ugly plastic sun-roof. Add bar service, and I would stay for a week! It is not easy to get to and from this property without using a taxi.

I stayed for one night only. Breakfast was great, staff was vert helpful and kind! The room was clean and warm, just what a weary traveler needs :)

The room was a bit dark.
