I didn't like anything about the room, the house was dirty, shared toilet and bathroom with too many people going out and coming in,.please spot stay here, the owner is shady

Very quiet and clean

The host emailed me that I should cancel. I requested the cancelation on booking.com. Then, the host became unresponsive and didn't do anything w.r.t. my request (didn't accept ir decline) . Later at the night of check-in, hours after the check-in time, he sent me a bill for the full amount. I wrote back and clarified that if my cancelation request is not approved and I am billed, I would like to stay. So, then I went to check-in and, lo and behold, the room of my reservation was already given to another guest! I have all the messages and Emails to confirm all details of my experience. Given my experience, I cannot recommend this place.

This friendly little gem is located in a beautiful leafy quiet residential part of Kingston that was close to St. Lawrence College and Queens University. The Hockey Hall of Fame and sports facilities would have been lovely additions to my stay had it been longer. Public transport and travel by car or taxi made trips downtown and to other neighbourhoods quick and convenient.

I would have loved to have visited the local restaurants and cafes had I more time.

Quiet street

There is a pile of rubbish to the R of the driveway and a pile of pulled dead weeds on the balcony by the front door. The email with the front door code only arrived just before midday on the arrival day - for international guests who do not have global roaming turned on this is inconvenient. On arrival I found my room had been taken by someone else, with no advice to me....The bedroom had a very noisy ventilation fan, which I asked to be turned off. This was partly done, and when I indicated that further action was needed, there was no response.....Fortunately I was able to find the switch and turn it off, otherwise I would have had a very disturbed sleep (if any). The cleaning fee is quite excessive
