We were upgraded to a suite! Fabulous

The room was very dated, some cracked tiles in the bathroom. During the night there was a lot of banging, I thought someone was trying to get into the room, but it turned out to be a shutter grill above the window, which was out of reach to try and secure.
The toilet did not flush anything away and was blocked after a wee and then unusable for the rest of the morning.
Staff at check in were very friendly, but at check out not at all bothered that we had not slept well and couldn’t use the loo.
Deffo not worth £130.
Other than being very close to the station, I don’t have a lot of positives for the place after staying the night.

Excellent base for train travel through the Alsace area. This hotel is directly across from the train station. We walked out the front door 10 mins before our train arrival. 10 min. walk into old town Colmar. Very convenient and comfortable.

Just located next to the railway station, it's so convenient to commute by train.
Attractions are within walking distance so it's an ideal place to stay.
The amenities are fully provided,it is so awesome !

What a lovely four-star hotel at a two/three-star price. 50 steps from Colmar Railway station, and about 15 minutes walk from Little Venice and Vieux Colmar. Big comfortsble rooms and beds, fantastic breakfast buffet, and good service.

Nice enough hotel, right next to the station. Short taxi ride to Expo Colmar, where we were attending a concert. Decent hotel, ideal for our overnight stay.

Very dirty over all. And the Gym is a joke. One handweight🙄,…and that was just one thing. Really bad experience. Cant recommend it.

Main attraction is its location straight across from the Colmar train station. Other than that, food is mediocre and property can use a major remodeling work as it looks and feels worn out.

The air conditioner did not work and reported it at the front desk and no one solved the problem. I ask for sugar for coffee at dinner and breakfast and the said the have none at the restaurant. Terrible and dirty place I have pictures.

There weren't any restaurants, or shopping near the hotel. Your choices were either walking to old town or the train station. Not good for walking alone at night. I also felt rushed at breakfast. I went to the washroom, and when I returned, they had taken away my breakfast and reset the table.

It's very convenient as it's right in front of the train station. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the main tourist attraction, so it's a bit far, but I can leave my luggage at the hotel, so it's not a problem at all. The room is a bit small, but the closet and bathroom are large. I can see the train station right in front and I also have a small balcony. However, when I went, it was under construction and there was scaffolding installed, so I couldn't enjoy the balcony. If I come here again next time, I plan to come to this hotel. The location is great.

The Grand Bristol Hotel in Colmar is under renovation. Service is terrible, air conditioning is not working. The cleaning people forget to clean your room ??? There was one day raining for several hours and in the 4th floor there was several leaks of water coming down, the people of the hotel needed to put buckets to stop the spread of water in the 4th floor. I will call Expedia for a partial refund on my stay in this hotel. Everything in the hotel is old. The could not put a new box of Kleenex box in the room for 24 hours.

Hotel is currently being renovated outside but do not be put off. nice restaurant and hotel is just opposite the station. evening meal and breakfast was excellent.

It was a bit hard to find initially as the signage was high up and couldn’t see from the car. Once inside, lovely and food very good.

Very nice hotel. Even so it is located just across the sttreet from the train station it was very quiet. It is a 10 or 15 minutes walk from the downtown are. It is nicely decorated. The staff was nice and friendly. The room was clean. The bed was very confortable. The only negative thing is that there is carpet in the bedroom and I do not like carpet as I think there is a lot of germs in carpets in hotels but that's personal.

Toooo old … rooms are dirty, need a renovation. Booked hotel only because of sauna , but it should be reserved , when came there was fully booked. Really disappointed… no one hotel required a sauna reservation. Only one good thing close to train station. No restaurants near available. Only a kebab and expensive hotel restaurant. Stuff are not friendly. Not recommend

Elevator was broken and we had to carry our trunks up the stairs. No prior notice was given and no refund was possible. It is an old building, but it is disappointing.

The rooms were spacious and nice. The breakfast was very good. The staff working breakfast was nice. The women working the front desk however were quite unpleasant. There was a gentleman working the desk who was helpful and kind. This property is very close to the train station which makes traffic a bit of a challenge but is walkable. It’s a bit far from the main tourist areas of Colmar.

Very friendly staffs all the way from reception to dining and concierge. The location is super convenient just across the station. Easy to reach the old town by a shuttle operating every 15 minutes. Unique design of the building and the rooms. Very old building but well maintained.

This hotel was a bit further than anticipated to the town center, but it was super close to the train station. I was worried about the "part of town" given the proximity to the train station, but I should not have worried. It was a cute room and the front desk was very helpful during check in and the wifi worked well. The area surrounding was quiet, but clean and while I didn't walk around much at night, it didn't feel unsafe at any point when traveling as two women.

A pleasant hotel with a restaurant near the railway station. Nice room, with a large comfortable bed and a large modern bathroom. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The staff were pleasant and helpful. There was a free shuttle bus outside the station which went to the old town every 15 minutes. There was a safe in our room, but it wouldn’t look when we’re there.

First nights touring the Alsace Wine region. We chose this hotel as it is next to the circular bus connection the main towns is excellent. 10 minute walk to little Venice in Colmar also very convenient.

Excited to arrive at the grand hotel, but the room was quite tired, very tired, with poor coffee and water, despite getting a suite.
The brochure images show the plush new reception and ground floor. Shame they havnt yet invested in the bedrooms.

The room was comfortable, could use more shelf space in bathroom. We reserved parking but it was not convenient. Had to get remote from desk, drive around the block, enter into lot, open garage door, parking underground, very tight quarters. Then had to return remote to front desk. That was only negative.

This hotel was wonderful. The room was large and clean. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was terrific! I recommend the restaurant for dinner as well!

The location is perfect, just across the street from the train station. Every 15 min a mini Trace bus leaves from the corner of the station to the old town. Ask the front desk for a map of the route. The hotel is old style but classic. The room has high ceiling, spacious, beds are comfortable, the breakfast is very good. Highly recommend if you visit Colmar.

Right across the station. We were trying to find left and right (after asking people ) but only got to realised the hotel was straight where we were when alighted from the train. Perhaps the hotel could put a signboard at the entrance of the hotel or door for easy identification. Hotel room Was quiet even it was just across the station . Breakfast was good . Go early to avoid the breakfast crowd . We walk to the city within 10 mins
