Outdated, a little run down, but the bathroom was clean and the bed linens were clean.

Our options were limited due to homecoming. We stayed one night to attend a nearby wedding. It's OK for a night. Convenient to the highways, restaurants, the school. Property is a little run down but staff was friendly and it was quiet.

The room was fine but all common areas were very dirty and hot. Took 10 minutes at check in before anyone came to the desk.

It’s a place to stay on the cheap but my room was damp and smelled like cheap body spray . The place was next door was a car lot and was lighted up like day time and the curtains in the room were shabby and falling off f the track so they didn’t do a great job .

Bed pillows the size of toddlers heads. The room was purple and olive green, not soothing at all. The couch was covered in stains. Too much to list, just gross. Oh and the smell, musty and moldy

It was very quiet. Too much chlorine in the pool kids eyes were red for the rest of the day and my daughters black swimming shirt turned brown.

First checking in, the attendent was friendly, however that was the highlight of the stay. It quickly went downhill from there. Our room smelled horrible and actually had mold on ceiling. There were alcohol bottles under bed and window screen was completely torn. Terrible experience. Will not go back

Bed was comfortable. It was a pet friendly room but I have no pets so the smell kind of is noticeable when first enter room. Had problems keeping the temperature at a comfortable cool setting. Enjoyed our stay. Was close to our destination and quiet.

It was a very clean elevator was dirty the towels that they supplied in the rules was dirty. We had to ask for clean ones. They were dead bugs on the wall said they did not clean off the tub was dirty.

This place was much better than i thought it would be with the mixed reviews. We were pleasantly surprised how nice it was. Staff was friendly. Our room was very clean. Our bed was very comfortable. There was a microwave and a refrigerator in our room. We could have eaten breakfast there, but we were meeting friends. It smelled good though! I didn't give it a5 on Area around property, due to a parking lot for a business where they parked their trucks and other equipment. That was on the backside. Overall it was a decent place to stay. I do not agree how they jack the price up when there is an event in town. Price gouging in my opinion. We were there only to sleep and shower.

I really liked the easy access in and out through the front doors without any problems checking in and out!! Great full breakfast clean rooms and friendly staff!!! It was a relaxing stay for our Anniversary weekend!!!

The staff were kind and attentive. Easy off and on from I-57. The room was clean, comfortable, and updated with a quiet efficient heating system. The simple breakfast was fresh and filling.

Property is well used. Needs updating, or at least painting. Doors and trim are scuffed, interior furnishings are clearly well used. Breakfast is spartan. Staff was fine, and as a room to crash in for the night at any other time it was ok, but for $400/night for Dads Weekend at U of I, it wasn't particularly impressive. No idea what their rates are normally, but they're clearly a step below the Country Inn/Hampton/Courtyard/HEI level. Lots of room for improvement.

Was disappointed in the pool availability. Binder in room said it was open Memorial Day through Labor Day. Sign at desk said the pump wasn't working. Online should've notated something. Continental breakfast was supposed to be served until 10AM on weekends, but on Saturday, they started putting things away at 9AM...only 20 minutes after we sat down to eat.

Staff was friendly and helpful from check in to check our. Cleanliness overall was pretty good- I would recommend a good wipe down of room walls and removal of the unwell plant by the elevators, but bedding was clean and fresh and bathroom was also very clean. My husband said the coffee maker was very dirty, but I don’t use those no matter what hotel room I’m in! The bathroom space is a little cramped but still functional. Overall, we were pleased with the accommodations as well the price, given the average room rates in CU for U of I homecoming weekend.

The gentleman who checked us in was amazing, so kind and friendly. I think he was still working the next morning when we left, what a trooper. He recommended Neil Street Blues for dinner and it was really good, highly recommend. The room was nice. It did have a damp smell to it. But, the bed was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was also very clean. Thank you.
