Drains in sink and tub were very clogged. Dark Handprints on wall made it hard to trust that cleaning had been very thorough. Breakfast was good and people were nice.

We stayed in this hotel 4 months ago and it was fine. Not so much this time. First, we chose it because of the attached restaurant. Nice to be able to have dinner and a drink and not need to drive. However, the restaurant is no longer open on Sundays so we went out for food and brought it back to eat in the room while watching a football game. The food needed to be warmed, but the microwave was unplugged and the cord was behind the large console holding the refrigerator and microwave and could not be reached. Upon further investigation, there was just one outlet to handle all the appliances and a light-duty extension cord had been utilized. Even if the cord for the microwave could have been reached, there was no available outlet without unplugging something else. (photo attached - any electricians want to weigh in on whether their electrical set up is safe and meeting code?) We ate our food cold.
The next morning, in the shower, the shampoo bottle mounted on the wall was empty. Not a big deal, but that should have been checked after the last guest.
Now that I think about it, perhaps my 3-star rating was rather generous.

I checked into hotel and headed down to the restaurant for dinner. Food and atmosphere was great. Got back to room and noticed mold and moisture around an outlet. I called the front desk and they came up to look at it. Everything on the wall (tv, fridge, microwave ect.) was plugged into this outlet with a power strip. I was moved to another room which was a slight inconvenience but ok. Took a shower the next morning and there was very little pressure due to half of the water still coming out of the spigot. Tub also did not drain well. I stopped at the front desk at check out to ask them to have the manager call me about the issues and never received a call. The staff that was working was very nice and apologetic.

Overall we had a good stay. The staff was helpful and present. The hotel is in a business park so not a ton of close food options, however there is an on-site restaurant/bar (which is closed on Sundays). The rooms could use a few more accessible usb/outlets. In room TV options limited due to DirecTV/Disney dispute, perhaps change providers. Also, I had messaged the hotel prior to our stay through Expedia about a special request (my husband’s birthday was the day we checked in) and I did not receive any response/communication back from them. These are just noticed suggestions. As stated we did enjoy our stay overall.

I enjoyed my stay. I stayed 3 days, 2 nights. It was a weekend. Nice pool area. Clean room.
There was a random wet spot in the middle of the room on the carpet. Couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. It did dry up eventually though. Also the phone was not working for some reason. So I could not call down using the room phone to front desk, I had to use my own personal cell phone.

The waffle maker. The pool was filthy and the restaurant was not in full service with no wait staff and only a bartender. After waiting 25 minutes we were told "I am all alone so I do not know when I will get to you,"

This was a nice location. Definitely a nice change from the corporate chain type hotel. The Pub/Bar was good! with Kareoke and $.50 wings ( which were dry and obviously prepared well in advance, but hey what do expect for $.50!) Otherwise a good value! I drive a Tractor trailer so accessibility is key for me. I did have to run over a few curbs to get around the building to park but nothing crazy. There were other truckers there so this seems to be a good choice for my industry. Will keep this in mind for future trips in the area.

This time around was not the best. My Keurig machine is broken. There was a huge spider in the bathroom. There’s hair from previous people in the bathtub. Didn’t seem very clean this time around and the floor is completely wet so it was damp the whole time and my socks were wet.

I love the location and cleanliness of the property.
They’re very respectful as well. Only downfall was the sheets did not fit the bed well and kept coming off which was annoying.

Couch pull out extremely uncomfortable for our kids, bars poke right through the thin mattress. One of the light switches was broken. They gave us very few towels (3 for a room that sleeps 4 and since they don’t service the room each day no new ones the next day so we did a lot of sharing of wet towels). Excellent breakfast. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful.

Everything was great. My only complaint was the carpet had a wet spot in the middle of the room. Other than that amazing stay.

The place was okay but it is run down and due for any update with the amount I was paying for. The bathroom was not cleaned and I made sure to let staff know for the cleanliness safety of others.

Room was clean and was comfortable. Pool was very nice and patio was nice to hang out at. They did provide an early breakfast for those who were running Boilermaker.

Property has great potential. It needs management concerned with maintainance and updating property to today's competitive market.
Examples are plugged toilets, exhaust fans not working properly, worn and torn carpet some black mold in bath. These are a few items I observed.

The Burrstone has friendly staff and clean rooms. Weve stayed here twice and each time it was extremely quiet.

Cancellation policy is 48 hours, and we called to cancel several days before that, but despite trying several times and waiting minutes each time for them to pick up, the front desk never did pick up the phone, and there was no voicemail service to leave a message. Then we got charged the full price and the hotel refused to refund. That's what I call a scam.

We had plenty of free parking. Free hot breakfast. Didn't use the pool, but it was there and we were tempted. Great value for the price.

Nice pool, enjoyed the free breakfast. Friendly staff. Unfortunately the room was damp and smelled very musty. Bathroom had no vent and the accessible shower meant water on floor that never dries. If the room had felt dry this would be a decent place. Surely can't be like that in all rooms?

Staff was amazing at the hotel and the restaurant attached. The breakfast attendant was the nicest person there but everyone was very nice.
Had to stay here for a funeral and all of the other hotels very much more expensive, we spent around $140 a night to stay here.
It's not a destination so I was not expecting a destination hotel level stay. Definition of a good hotel to stay at while just passing through.

Perfect location for my mother's 100 birthday party. My whole family and their kids and grandchildren were all at this hotel. We all had a great time!

Hotel seems to have gone a bit downhill. It was nice clean and well-kept last year and this year it looked shabby. Staff was always friendly and helpful.

The front desk was very kind and it was a smooth check in. The breakfast each morning was always full and it was in a good location so people were not bumping elbows trying to get food. The pool area was nice and relaxing. The area close to the hotel did have options for dining and other activities (we visited a mall a few minutes away). My only critiques would be bigger towels in the bathroom. They were small and scratchy. And just verifying the vending works the one that was working nothing was cold and there was no notification of it. Othewise no glaring/huge issues and would stay again.

Really cute, unique property with '70s vibes. First, the negatives: Coffee is that instant pre-mix syrup, so not a fan (but Dunkin is down the block), and vending & ice machines mostly broken. Also, not nearly enough electrical outlets in the room (built pre-cellphones and not retrofitted). That said, it was lovely and not a cookie-cutter more modern chain hotel. Built around a large pool and features a neat bar-restaurant "the Beergarden" where families and locals congregate to listen to an acoustic guitarist, sing karaoke, and play darts and pool. Room was large and comfortable. Plan on coming back next time we're in the area.

This is a decent hotel but in need of repairs/renovation. It was fairly clean, but old. I opened the window to let some fresh air in, the window wouldn't fully close. Bed, linens and pillows were very good however towels were clean but really worn and old. Breakfast was OK, but the timer on one of the waffle makers were broken and all you can find was instant coffee, which is unacceptable even in a budget motel and Burrstone Inn is nowhere near a budget motel. Staff was polite and very helpful.
