The staff and customer service were amazing. The rooms are lovely with authentic charm. The hotel is in a great location with a phenomenal roof top bar overlooking the highlight sights of Florence!

The property was lovely and the staff were welcoming, however the towels and robes seemed old and not very clean, some were even ripped. The breakfast buffet was slightly more expensive than other hotels but it was a great spread and even my kids enjoyed. We were traveling with two young ones so location was important to us and this hotel is so close to all of the main attractions in Florence. Overall I would recommend and would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is very well located and the place is very central. The room was very clean and the service was very good, and the breakfast was delicious.

Nice an clean

We stayed in this hotel for two nights to kick off a 9aday trip around Italy. The hotel is located very close to the duomo and everything, including the train station is in walking distance. Staff were wonderful, room was very comfortable and there is a rooftop bar with an amazing view. Also could hear tower church bells if we opened our window! When the window was closed, it was completely notice cancelling. Great place to stay!

The Grand Hotel Cavour is very centrally located, easy walking distance to major attractions and not far from the train station which made it ideal for our trips to other towns Good breakfast selection Staff were very helpful and polite

Excellent location , you can walk to the Santa Maria Del Fiore Cathedral, Piazza de la Signoria ; Uffizi Galleries and many other important points in Florence. Excellent air conditioning in rooms, friendly staff and the roof top bar has amazing views and great vibes 😃Love this hotel . I highly recommend it !

The property was absolutely perfect. Checkin was a breeze, friendly staff, clean and spacious room. Wonderful view and the hotel is connected literally in the middle of everything. Walking distance from David, The Ponte Vechio etc. lovely stay will definitely consider for future trips.

I recently stayed at Grand Hotel Cavour for 2 nights with my family, and we were seeking upscale accommodations that met our high expectations. This hotel did not disappoint. The rooms are spacious and elegantly furnished, and the amenities are excellent. The hotel’s central location, just a 4-minute walk from the Duomo, is surrounded by plenty of restaurants. The front desk staff were exceptionally courteous and friendly, providing helpful information about the area. When my wife had some difficulty with her luggage, a staff member promptly assisted us, which was a rare and appreciated gesture. We stayed in the family room, which consists of two connected rooms, offering ample space, two large bathrooms, and comfortable bedrooms—ideal for a family of four. Although the Wi-Fi was occasionally spotty, our overall experience was fantastic. The hotel is situated on a busy street that can accommodate only one car at a time, but there is a designated spot for temporarily parking taxis, which helps when unloading luggage. If the spot is occupied, you might need to be quick to avoid honking from other cars, but the taxi drivers are usually understanding. I highly recommend Grand Hotel Cavour to all travelers visiting the area.

Close to all high interest areas

Great clean higher class hotel without the old Florence worn out atmosphere. Staff is very nice. Breakfast great. Gym was a pleasant surprise.

Very good location. 5 min walking to Uffizi or 10 min to Ponte Vecchio. Great room, clean and comfortable! Staff are so accommodating and our concierge Barbara was so helpful!

Amazing experience

Beautiful hotel definitely NOT in the mold of the modern ones. Steps from all the attractions. Attentive service, lovely surroundings. Roof top bar is very nice even though service was a bit slow, be sure to reserve your spot! The rooms were exquisite; could have used an additional 110v outlet in the bathroom and a few USB receptacles would have been useful.

It was close to all the sightseeing and the staff was friendly and lots of good restaurants around

The rooms and bathroom is great. We have taken 4 rooms as my son was getting engaged. The rooms are good and location is superb. The only issue is that there was no glass in the room. I mean no single glass. There was no conditioner or shampoo. Overall we had a great stay but minor improvements can make this a great hotel. Elevators are also very old

Location and views

Located on the Grand Canal, we appreciated the water taxi drop off directly in front of hotel. The property is charming and well maintained. Check-in was fast, efficient, and a very pleasant experience. Concierge recommended La Loggia Bistrò for dinner and it was a wonderful restaurant with a contemporary take on classic dishes.

The location is excellent! Walkable within 10-20 minutes to almost to any major attraction. Staff super helpful and friendly. My double luxury room with a view was very comfortable and the breakfast buffet was very good. Overall, I’m very happy with it for the money.

Hotel is in a convenient location walkable to everything. Family room was nice (a bit small one of the room) but clean and bright.
