Had a perfect stay

We stayed three nights on our UP road trip with our dog. The view from the balcony wa beautiful! The breakfast was great with healthy options, Greek yogurt, hard boiled eggs, fruit, oatmeal. The staff was friendly and helpful. Lots of people were constantly cleaning and some where even putting new paint on the hallway. Overall good stay at an older hotel. The rooms could use an update, but I suppose you're not staying here for the room, but the lake.

The beach area was very clean and the fire pit at night was fantastic

Good value, clean and updated condition, great breakfast buffet, staff was helpful. Buffet was well serviced. A little more money but much more value.

Great place to stay qith great viewa

The staff were right outside the front door smoking. The rooms were dirty: carpet, chair upholstery. The shower was chipping. The facility did not provide recycling.

Loved pool and hottub.

The room was always clean and ready for the next day. Laura at the front desk was very helpful when we first arrived because the extras that I had asked and called to confirm was not in their system. This lady made it all possible for an exciting and fun vacation. The breakfast was EXCELLENT!!

This hotel was possibly one of the cleaniest i have EVER stayed at and i am a travel softball and travel baseball mom so i stay at a lot of hotels. At least once a year my husband and i pick a random dream trip and go away together. This year was Mackinaw Island. Im so happy that we opted to stay in St Ignass instead of on the island. If you stay at the holiday inn make sure you head over to the sister hotel to eat and have drinks!! I wish the gal working the front desk when we checked in would have told us that these two hotels operated under the same owner. The Club had phenomenal bartenders and waitresses!! The crab cakes and ravioli are amazing snacks/Appetizers!! The 2nd night we had the fish and it was delicious!

Our room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. There breakfast was really good with a great selection. The view was lovely.

Excellent staff on property! Lacy was amazing! Overall it was good, the pool was great. Breakfast was shut down by 9:30, and the rooms were very dated. Doors looked old, tvs were tiny, and the ac kept shutting off. Definitely not worth the price

Other than the kids running above us the stay was nice but we understand kids are kids and those kind of things happen.

Lake view from our room was great. Since it is an older hotel, it wasn't as quiet as we have experienced at other facilities.

Enjoyed the circular patio with fire. Loved my pillow for sleeping, not to puffy. Nice breakfast food choices

Great location, comfortable beds, and clean facility. We had a room with a jacuzzi. The jacuzzi jets didn't work but it was huge!

Brought our 4 and 5 yr old boys here for a family vaca and trip to Mackinac Island. We had a nice big room with a jetted tub in it, view of the beach and island and easy access to the restaurant/bar on the property. Would return.

Great pool and hot tub. Wonderful view of the lake.

Insect filled property - inside and out!

For $400 a night I would have liked to have a room that didn’t overlook the parking lot. Additionally the staff were incredibly rude at the continental breakfast. We come to this area every year and will be looking for a better option in the future.

The view of Lake Huron from our room was fantastic! Very nice people who checked us in! Rick and Diane were very friendly and helpful.

It was kind of old and needed a renovation.

Our stay was good but we were over charged by the front desk. They said they would refund us the difference but it is still frustrating to book the room for a certain amount and then be over charged and have to wait for the refund.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond when asked for something.

Decent hotel for the price point, but the air conditioning units were inordinately loud. We all had trouble sleeping. And the people above us were super loud - floor didn’t block out their running around rooms, slamming doors, etc.
