That is a TOP hotel with TOP service!

Rooms very tired and look like they haven’t had any attention since 1970. The view however is spectacular. Overall, this hotel could be incredible but needs a multi million investment programme to bring the rooms into the current century

In short, not worthy it’s 5stars and by no means it’s price tag. Hotel had its best years probably 20 years ago. The rooms are old and stuffy. Not properly cleaned with dust on shelves.
The dinner and breakfast was mediocre.
The worst part however was the staff. Starting with the hotel manager who didn’t put any efforts into welcoming and engaging with guests. Concierge and other staff was unfriendly and careless. For example cars standing outside were not locked after being moved by staff, shuttle service to the ski lifts was not available in an efficient way - after waiting for 20min and follow up question the response from the staff that was clearly just chilling was that they are not running a bus service…
Overall worst 5 star experiences. Not worthy the 5. Would not recommend to anyone considering the cost “benefit” ratio.

Had a great stay at Belvedere during our skiing holiday under good Corona safety measures. Nice spacious rooms, great service and restaurant. Fantastic choice of dishes - for kids and adults alike. Also newly renovated wellness/pool area is nice - only pool water could be warmer... not only for kids, but for me as well. Complimentary ski shuttle, going to Jakobshorn as well as Parsenn, is highly appreciated and used.

Extra ordinary, absolutely amazing! You can feel the the combination of the history together with modern influences in a great balance. In every aspect they are doing their best!

It was as last year super to stay at Grandhotel Belvedere. We are used to 5 star hotels and good service and this hotel give us what we want, good clean room, good service, perfect bar and restaurants and transports to the ski area, its all good.

Room and reception staff was outstanding. Restaurant staff and food was mediocre. However, and somewhat in their defence, it was the last day of summer saison.

Amazing experience. The historic lounges and dinning areas and hallways remain impressive. The pool has a separate architecture with refreshments and fruits just there and no staff unless u need them. The most impressive thing is staff payed attention to every little detail. They make you feel like a king.

Beautiful accomodation and excellent staff. The attention to detail and overall ambiance of the hotel made for a very pleasant stay. Breakfast was outstanding.

Wonderful, friendly, helpful, kind staff, especially Armin, lead by an amazing manager, Tina Heidi. Nothing was too much for them and the service was excellent! We actually hugged several members of staff goodbye as they had been so good to us. Felt like we were saying goodbye to friends.

Friendly staff but the sauna in the spa was out of order. The hotel sent a message about that before hand but what can you do when you have booked without a cancelation option? You really don't except a 5 star hotel don't have a sauna in the spa. If we'd know we'd never booked!

Exceptional service and a beautiful hotel. The breakfast, lounge and dinner were all fantastic. The service from driving up until leaving was exemplary.

The Hotel interior is dated and not up to a 5 star standard. Also it is quite expensive for what you get. However, the staff was super helpful and professional, and they made our stay there enjoyable.

Location was marvelous - close to everything. The rooms were spacious, the breakfast excellent and you could not ask for a more wonderful staff. The hotel shuttle made travel a breeze.

The hotel is very nice as I would definitely stay there again. The breakfast is wonderful in all respects except the coffee. Coffee was sour and clearly large percolator. The pillows were as expected for European hotel.

You feel home the minute you arrive, great front of house service starts with immediate help for luggage and parking, front desk knows all your preferences and concierge never excepts no for an answer. Great first impression just gets topped by spacious and clean. The room service stands out same as the team at the Bar, from passionate ambitious bar keeping and knowing guest specific preferences. Breakfast and all other food offers are excellent. So thanks again for making our suite a true home for last 10 days. We are back for sure... G Buller

We went to Davos to ski and this was the perfect hotel! They had a shuttle to take you to and from the slopes and a warm place to store your skis and boots at night. The hotel was wonderful and the staff were extremely friendly. We also really enjoyed listening to the wonderful piano music at the bar while unwinding from a long day of skiing! I would highly recommend this hotel!

I reserved room through Expedia; did not pay in advance. Once there, I needed to change travel plans and depart one day prior than scheduled. Hotel insisted that since I booked through Expedia that they "had to" charge me for the final night even though I was checking out early. Expedia could not or would not help. Forced to pay for extra night when checked out (Nothing in the fine print anywhere). Hotel very stubborn regarding me paying for a night after I checked out. So if you need to have flexible travel plans consider one of the may other fine options.
The hotel was probably at one time a truly Grand European Hotel; this is still their corporate vision, but certainly is not part of the corporate culture with the employees. Sort of Disneyesque play acting.
Will stay elsewhere next year.

Spa is good. Room was nice and big. Brakfast is excellent. Its old and as a result no aircon in the rooms eich can be hote it summer.

Great location close to almost everything. Staff very friendly and helpful. Provided you with free pass for almost all transportation. Room comfy and has all amenities.
Only thing is that there was no a/c only heating which was a bit of a problem in the heat of summer.

Overall I enjoyed the stay. Platform at room entrance is very inconvenient & risky. Improvement in furniture layout could make the room more roomy.

Really nice hotel in the centre of Davos. Great friendly staff to go the extra mile, perfect rooms with a great view of the mountains and an awesome breakfast buffet. Highly recommended.

We stopped at Davos on our way from Lake Como back to the UK. Th weather had been terrible travelling through rain so the lovely welcome we received from reception cheered us up as well as the offer of a drink of juice. The room was lovely and the hotel spa was perfect for some exercise in the pool and sauna to ease the aches if travelling. The hotel has recently been renovated and the lounge was very nicely decorated and comfortable. The food was very good but a little expensive. When we checked out we received bottles if water for our onward journey which was a nice touch.

A most comfortable hotel with ample public rooms, swimming pool with gym, range of dining options and well furnished bedrooms and bathrooms.
The main hotel restaurant offers a three course 'gourmet' dinner with a choice of dishes - menu changes each evening. This can be included in the half-board rate which proved to incredibly good value! An appetising breakfast is served here with wide ranging choices always available until 11:00 hrs.
There is also an a-la-carte restaurant which we had intended to try but the included main restaurant were too good to miss!
The bedroom was well furnished with a lovely balcony overlooking Davos to mountains beyond. The bathroom was fully tiled in marble. Unfortunately the floor became extremely slippery and no non-slip mat was provided for use in the walk-in shower. Care was required.

Beautiful hotel in great location in Davos. Hotel shuttle was waiting for us at the train station. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast buffet included in the room rate. Room was very pleasant.

Guestroom was poorly appointed - TV in impractical position beside the bed and safe box outdated and no key provided.
Bathroom was fairly new although the walk-in tub shower isn't really 5 star. Decor and furnishing of room was dated and old fasion.
