Hotel is new with very friendly staff. Rooms, at least the one two queen bed are on the small size. No closets, no iron, and the bathroom is small. Breakfast is good although it could offer more protein options.

Nicely decorated. A bit loud, thin walls and you could hear conversations from the front desk. Overall a nice change from the average hotel stay.

Toilet failed after checkin and was never fixed. “Blackout curtains” were not blackout curtains. Room was never very dark at all (see photo). Listing showed tub and shower, room only had a tiny shower. Electronic lock was los on battery so it “beeped” all night. Staff was gruff and rude. overall, the hotel seemed like it was poorly maintained. Too many things were either broken or didn’t work or were failing. The hotel does not look old, but with so many things falling apart, it feels like it.

We were in Tallahassee for grandsons graduation from Florida public safety institute, and tried this reasonably priced hotel with good reviews. I had read about some noise, so requested a quiet room. They booked me at the end of the hall. I brought my own white noise and slept very well. Staff was extremely friendly. Room service daily.
The place is very cute, rooms are small but adequate. Bed is very comfortable. No drawers, but space under seating area. The breakfast had waffles, bagels, cereal, boiled eggs, fruit, juice and yogurt. Good and filling.
The only complaint I have is they need to increase water heater degrees, or get a larger water heater, as showers were lukewarm at best.
Will definitely use again when visiting Tallahassee.

I had an amazing stay at this location. I had every intention of recording and capturing my visit but it was so quiet and cozy, that we just slept and relaxed our entire visit. Besides the Encore brands, I haven't been this excited to return to a hotel in a while. Summer checked us in and was completely pleasant and a ray of sunshine. I will definitely be back...and SOON!

First time stay with Bob hotels, it was quirky and we enjoyed the coffee bar and lattes even though not all staff seemed trained to make a latte. Room was quirky and fun, a bit tight but for 1 night it was just fine.

This is a clean hotel but be warned they CHARGE $55 for pets to stay. Nowhere in the information did it state this charge. This isn’t a deposit, it is a charge. They also charge your credit card $100 for deposit and tell you you won’t be reimbursed until 3-5 business days. We won’t be back.

Was very surprised the second I pulled into parking lot.This is not an expensive place so I had an idea of what I’d get into. Very clean and welcoming. It’s like a well kept 3-4 star hotel with a 5 star staff. They make you feel at home right away. I’ll book all my Tallahassee trips with Bobs for now on.

Stay overall was great. Price was right. We were skeptical but pleasantly surprised. My only drawback was the staff out front smoking when we pulled up. Maybe offer the staff a designated smoking area so that it doesn’t shed the business in a bad light. My boys are breakfast both days. Nothing really exciting but at least the kids ate. Would stay again.

Awesome staff. It's great to stay where people honestly enjoy their jobs, and it reflects in the hotels overall experience. Loved everything about our stay and would recommend the Tallahassee BOB hotel to anyone, especially if you are traveling with pets. We had our 12 y/o black lab and he was treated just as good as we were!!

Bob's is our favorite place to stay in Tallahassee. I have to travel from Ft Walton Beach a lot for Dr. Visits and Bob's is perfect for the budget. This time we stayed in a queen ada room and it was fabulous! Plenty of room for my wheelchair. We'll be back next month!

This is a new hotel. Simple decor and very clean. The staff were attentive and helpful. The room reminded us of Paris hotel rooms, practical and simply decorated. Excellent shower and comfortable bed. Very affordable and coffee available as well as decent continental breakfast. We will be back, the price was great.

Fridge leaked water, rooms are small, ac didn’t work well, stayed very humid in the room, tv were horrible with poor picture quality. Staff was very nice and helpful but house keeping was asked to clean room and change towels since they skipped the room earlier. Was told they would take care of it but once we got back to the room 8 hours later it hadn’t been done and the front staff stated they were short handed. She was told no excuse! Overall stay was decent and location to the airport was short and very easy.

New hotel rooms are small the bathroom is definitely small. Breakfast was good with a mix of assortments for the picker eater. I don’t like that you have $150 hold when most hotels have only $30-50 for incidentals and they don’t hold it for 3-5days on your charge card.. how is the hold more then the cost of the room especially if the room was paid for when booked. This alone would be a reason I wouldn’t book again..
