Great stay, good location few stops away from heumarkt with a short walk to Dom. very stylish and clean hotel. Rooms are very spacious and water pressure in the shower is excellent! Would recommend to anyone considering a stay in Cologne. Only niggle I have is that the room AC wouldn’t cool the room no matter the setting, room got a little uncomfortable during the night.

Nice hôtel idéally located in a lively neighbourhood with a lot of great places to go out. The rooms are comfortables and quiet.

Personal is friendly and the location is very central an near many good restaurants.

There wasn't hot water so i had to shower the 1rst day with cold water which got me sick
No ac working so by night it was too hot

Bad experience all around. Reception never picks up the phone. No working WiFi. Was asked pack my clothes and move to another room, only to find out that someone else is already staying in the other room. No apologies from very unfriendly and confused staff, who needs serious training and maybe chose the wrong profession.

Clean and modern room but sadly the smells of sewage and mold was very prominent in the bathroom. Luckily with a closed door it stayed in there.

The staff were very friendly, and the room was clean. We really enjoyed breakfast.

This was a very well located property with nice rooms however, there were no Expedia platinum member benefits offered to us. We had to pay for parking And breakfast there was not even a room upgrade offered even though plenty of upgradable rooms were available. The property just did not see any notes from Expedia asking for upgrades. We are questioning our loyalty to Expedia and its Hotels.com brand because it doesn’t not appear. Loyalty has any benefits.

The hotel was clean and modern. The location is very close to (literally a few seconds walk) the underground and surface trains. There are also a variety of cafes, restaurants, shops (including Rewe which is a supermarket) right outside the hotel. It is approx 20-25 mins leisurely walk totge Koln Dom Cathedral.
We wnjoyed our stay in this hotel!

Perfect hotel. Very good location, nice stuff, big rooms, everything you can ask for.
The only downside was the A/C which could have been a bit better

Staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was spacious, comfortable and well appointed. Location is excellent, access is easy, parking is available in the poublic car park beneath the hotel.

Great place close to everything in walking distance. Nice room, clean and spaceus. Anticipate some noice from the street during night, not critical though. Great staff, helpful and welcoming. Coming back, maybe to the next Depeche Mode concert ;)

The staff is very friendly and helpful. However, first of all the heating was broken in our room. They were kind enough to give up a free upgrade because there were no free rooms in the same category. The heating was also not working in the room we were moved to.
The room service personnel were super loud in the hallways early in the morning. Lastly, the cleanliness was not the best, there were sticky spots on the floor.

The ac didn’t work and they fisrt told us to just open the window. After a second complain they gave us another room.
The water keeps changing temperature so had to shower in lower temperature the usual to avoid getting burned.

Very good hotel located in the center of the city (at Rudolfplatz). Subway (U Bahn and tram) is just in front of the hotel. Coming from Cologne-Bonn airport was very easy by train (it took 30 minutes with one train change).City center is in the walking distance. Room was very big (we stayed 3 adults) and clean. Kettle and Nespresso machine was in the room. Everything was perfect related to our stay. Thank you for your hospitality.

I Already gave feedback through this forum mid stay regards our check in chaos but never got a response from hotel which was a major disappointment.
Worthy of mention are the barman Milan and the porter gentleman who were both friendly and helpful

Excellent neighborhood, very nice breakfast but too long check in , most probably because of Christmas Days
Upgrade and view weren’t given at the beginning even though i booked them, i had to call the reception again and mention it and then we changed the room

I had a medical emergency the day before I was due to travel to Koln, a partially detached retina. The Steigenberger would not refund my stay nor let me move to another date.

Really comfortable rooms with excellent shower and plenty of space. Lounge area is relaxing with nice background music. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Will return again soon hopefully.

This was our second stay at this Lovely hotel with welcoming staff. However a bit tight with the amenities, as we were in a room for four nights and the tea and coffee was never replaced leaving us to buy our own. And on one occassion, we were left with no towels, so needed to go find them ourselves.
