Really loved the Howard Johnson. The front desk staff was so nice and the room was clean.

Everything was great until we went to bed and realized the lights from outside shine right into the uncovered rounded windows on the second floor. We hardly slept because it was like daytime in our room all night. This made for a really rough next day at Disneyland. Other than that major downfall, the staff and cleanliness was outstanding.

Happy with our stay at Howard Johnson as always. We have enjoyed a number of stays over the years and this was no exception. The rooms are always tidy, clean and comfortable, and equipped with a microwave oven and coffee machine, so breakfast is readily prepared with supplies from the small on-site shop, which operates until 11pm daily. The pool is a nice feature, though we did not make use of it on this occasion.

The staff were so friendly, the hotel rooms were clean and updated, and the beds were super comfortable after a long day on our feet. The walk from the hotel to Downtown Disney was only a few minutes and super easy. We will definitely stay here again!

Paying to park your car is a charge that should just be included in the room, I hate the added fees and taxes after everything. You come to have a vacation and more charges add up that are never disclosed prior. Each year the prices for things go up to then see nothing new/improved makes it feel less valuable to the consumer. The staff was friendly at the front desk, just wish the obscene price for parking/fees would be absorbed by the hotel as they are not doing anything with having your car there, just another way to get a little more money.

Love the proximity to Disneyland and the affordable rates. Room was clean but would have been nice to have upgrades (newer bathroom amenities and queen size vs double beds).

It was okay. The hotel is older, which I love a retro hotel. My issue is that things like the bathroom were poorly tiled and they just put calking to fill huge gaps. Then it molded. It wasn’t the worst bathroom but it could have been better.

This is my second time staying at The Howard Johnson Anaheim and it is one of our favorite hotels anywhere! It's just lovely in every single way. Very clean, incredible staff, extremely comfortable beds. Roomy, nice aesthetic. We will stay here every time we go back to Anaheim! It's also nice and close to the Disneyland park entrance. Definitely walkable!!!

Clean place we enjoy - two things that could be better: refrigerator in the room does not have freezer section, bummer we always like to freeze water bottles. The hotel has a small Keurig coffee maker in the room, would really like if they had fresh coffee available in the front office.

We were staying here to go to Disneyland! Easy walk to the park! The room has a retro vibe(which I liked) but our shower took a while to get warmish and there are not enough outlets in the room~to accommodate modern technology (all the smart things we have to charge)! I did love the outside sink and mirror so that a couple people can get ready at the same time! It was decorated cute for the holidays 🎄

This hotel is in a great location for the park, even better, we had a fantastic view of fireworks from our balcony. The hot water was hit and miss. We put in a service call the first night we arrived for the morning, but then it was hot again so we cancelled it. Unfortunately went back and forth the three days we were there. The air conditioning unit blew out a terrible smell when the fan was on. We considered requesting a room change, but were too exhausted to pack everything up. It seems to be an old hotel that just hasn't been maintained to top quality. It was also a little annoying to have the small waterpark area and the pool so separate from each other. For the price, plus the extra 25US/night for parking, I would say not worth it.

The pool was nice but strict and rude. You have to have a wristband to use the pool. If you lost a wristband they refuse to replace it. No wristband and they refuse admission to the pool even with ID and room key. I also witnessed a lifeguard being extremely rude and insensitive to a family with a child that had autism. It really made the entire stay unwelcoming.

Great family friendly place with awesome amenities and very close to Disneyland. There’s no elevator though, so if you have a stroller I’d recommend requesting the first floor. The water park area was a blast. Definitely will come again!

We stayed at this hotel 9/11 until 9/13 and very much enjoyed our stay there. Sadly we never got to use the pool, but the convenience and location to Disney was perfect.

Love this hotel, except for the noise from the freeway. It was very noisy all night long. Otherwise hotel is really nice.

We enjoyed how close it was to Disnyland, but we did not like that we did not get to use water park that long due to it opens at 10am and check out is 11am and you get charged another days parking at 12pm. Short onnstaff when checking in.

The hotel was nice the rooms were spacious and was convenient to walk to Disneyland however the explanation of parking an additional car to the garden walk was miscommunicated and my car was ransacked. Admittedly I said i had locked my car overnight but when i packed up to leave front desk said the only camera they had was only facing the gate at the parking lot entrance so i had some shoes and sunglasses stolen. They were only able to waive the $25 parking fee and nothing else. Couldn’t consider filing a police report since there wasn’t any damage to the car on the exterior but there was stain on the driver seat that i unfortunately had to cover and sit on to drive home.
The stay was nice but if everything didn’t happen the way it did i would’ve given at least stars but definitely upsetting.

Decent hotel that met basic needs. Lots of food options within walking distance. The only negative was our double/double room had a large window between the main window and ceiling that we couldn’t cover. It let in a ton of light during the night and when the sun started to rise. I’d stay here again but would request a room they didn’t have this feature.

This Hotel Is Nice Clean Easy On The Front Desk They Were Very Very Nice. One thing I didn't like about this hotel was, That . They have a 3 hour policy to be inside the pool or on the water park. So if you okay with being Kick out off the pool, water park they have for kids its would be perfect. Not for me i got this Hotel for my kids to be in the pool and water park but the 3 Hour police they have for the whole day is just not for Me. Other then that it was a good hotel.life Guard are not so friendly either..Me Not stay here again. We stay here for 3 Day. Only only can be the the pool for 3 Hours. Not Cool..

Really enjoyed our stay. Spacious and very clean rooms. Staff very friendly and water park/pool area well staffed for safety. Highly recommend this hotel if you are headed to Disney as the walk to and from the park was very manageable.
