They are currently doing renovations to the parking lot, when we arrived we were told there is no onsite parking available. They directed us to a parking garage two blocks away. Our reward for dragging our things through the freezing cold was to be charged $20 for parking. I hope the Holiday Inn corporate guys get wind of this situation because it’s ridiculous and unreasonable in a Canadian Winter. Charging customers for a major inconvenience is very unfair.

Stayed here many times. Service has always been great and rooms generally clean and comfortable. At my last visit I noticed the toilet wasnt cleaned well. Rooms are starting to show their age with creaky beds and carpet that is coming unglued.

Well kids yelling and screaming in the hallways at 8am for hours was not awesome. Even after a call and visit from hotel security, nothing changed. And get ready for this - a barking dog. At 9am. In a Holiday Inn. We’ve always had a good experience with Holiday Inn; however, we will never, ever return to this dumpster fire of a hotel…

The hotel was fine. What wasn't at all fine was housekeeping banging on the door early even though I had late checkout and a sign on the door. They also were slamming doors all morning, and the phone rang once for no reason. It was brutal!!

When you drive up to the hotel, no parking had to go down two blocks in a parking garage to pay and park, the front desk and manager did not speak English.

We arrived at 5pm to check-in. Check-in time was actually 3pm. So room should have been ready. Told they needed 10mins. Had to park at off-site lot so went to move car. Came back 30mins later. Room still not ready. Clerk seemed confused..i stood waiting. Manager came and offered to comp. parking. Gave a small discount but with taxes.. was the exact same as my Hotel.com rate. Finally got into room at 6pm. To discover that my river view was just a small window. Not worth choosing this upgrade. Was lesser view because I reserved through Hotel.com??

We stayed for 12 days and loved every minute of our stay. The room was great with an excellent view of the river and surrounding parks. Very convenient to local establishments. I loved the different breakfast options. It would be impossible to single out one employee as every interaction with the staff was great!! I would highly recommend this hotel. We have family in Windsor, so will be returning. This hotel will be our choice for every stay in Windsor!!

It was super great minus the yappy dog all night in room 908. I felt like I needed to go over and complain to them. They didn’t even attempt to quiet the dog up once and I couldn’t nap at all.

Conveniently located with great views of Detroit river and city skyline if you get a room facing this side. Overall hotel requires upgrades, not very clean, bedsheets not changed from previous guests and bedbugs!!!! Water in the pool looked more like a soup. Staff was not always very accommodating, depends who was working the front desk, clearly some of them had zero previous working experience. Best thing about this hotel was breakfast i a spacious 2 story lunchroom. Everyone is charged for parking but spots at their lot are very limited, they have extra spaces in the multistory parking garage 1 block away. Riverside pedestrian passage is just outside across the street, casino is also within walking distance, The Keg is 1/2 block away and Goose restaurant with patio is attached to the hotel- has great food and drinks!

There is a definite problem with your parking protocol. It is very difficult to unload luggage and park your car down the street. Our pick up truck barely fit in the parking garage. We had to park in two spots to fit. We had a parking spot in the back lot but when we asked if we were in the right spot the gentleman said it was parking for the bar. The sign on the parking lot clearly stated it was for hotel guests. The lady at the desk said it was first come first serve. So if we had a spot I’m not sure why we had to move. As we pulled out another truck pulled in. I think you need to add this information to your hotel details. Also the cost for the parking. It may change people’s mind of staying at your facility. Great place to stay. The staff are amazing. They did their best to help me figure a deposit. Every one was friendly, and so helpful. The breakfast was okay and plenty of options. I will definitely be staying here again. We had a river facing room I recommend this. The view is spectacular.
