The front desk people were amazing. The service was amazing. The room with the balcony was great off the hustle of the main drag.

We had ants in a bed n was bitten, on night #2, hotels.com did not see fit in refunding that nights stay! REALLY, they gave me a 30% refund, and offered credit I've not seen. Horrible customer service! Let's hope nothing comes of the bites. Im appalled!

Exceeded our expectations! Lovely in every way. Front desk staff is friendly and on top of everything, comfortable rooms, beautiful courtyard with pool and games and casual restaurant.

Had ants/bugs all over the restroom counter and shower floor upon arrival. My wife and I cleaned them up and let the front desk know. Maintenance did not come until the 3rd request and by that time they were in our stuff. Ended up finding bugs in our closet too. We had to clean and blow all our stuff out. Very frustrating as we were here to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and this property is not cheap. Left a message for management and have not heard back.

Was very comfortable. The shuttle service was awesome and were very friendly. Only issue we wanted to stay another night but the price went up a lot (double) the next day (Thursday)and we would have had to down grade to a less nice room. So we opted to stay at another hotel.

It’s a great property to stay and everything is so accessible. The only one thing the property can do better is fire one of the front desk person who was so toxic and has a very bad attitude. Wish I knew her name to tag here because all the other staffs were so kind and it shouldn’t affect their reputation.

A Beautiful place to stay. Rooms were good size updated and clean, The restaurant was very good, the breakfast was great. You could catch the shuttle into town and to the terminal.

Really appreciated the shuttle service and front desk staff. We did not spend much time dining on property but honestly the breakfast we did have was better than some meals we had in town. The remodeled rooms were nice but a bit on the small side. Having a patio or balcony helped to compensate for smaller room size. We'd stay again.

One night was not enough The hotel was very comfortable and the food was really good. There is a shuttle service that was reliable as walking back from town was a challenge,especially in the heat. Loved the pool and the property.

I liked the convenience of being able to walk around Avalon as well as the free transportation back and forth. Also the honesty lost my cc at the restaurant and didn’t realize it until I checked out and they gave it to me.that was truly amazing thank you

They are one of the only hotels on Catalina with a pool. They also had shuttle survice to and from Catalina Express dock, the hotel & one of the main streets in the boardwalk so that was super helpful. They vans had AC and plenty of space. Rooms were nice and clean. There is also an eatery above the pool which was available to us. Was super convenient, we didnt have to fight all the tourist crowd and lines waiting for breakfast in morning with our young kids. They also store your bags in lobby before your room is ready. There was no late checkout which was a bummer but we still have access to pool rest of day. Dont try walking to this property it is up 3 big hills. Like...seriously it wouldnt be fun. We saw a couppe families be rescued by locals who attempted it...not worth the try

If you want a location off downtown Catalina this is it. Quiet, away from all the tourist but walking distance to Main Street. Facility is clean but a little old and worn down. Still clean room, and AC. No room service, walked down to the restaurant trying to get a pot of coffee, not available..

The Hotel stay was amazing. The staff was well informed. You have to ask questions to get answers however. They were accommodating and provided shuttle service to and from downtown area. We would definitely go back and stay in exactly the same room if possible. The animals at night made it feel like we were on a safari sleep over. Very primative, which felt exotic and erotic. Cant wait to come back! The amenities were fabulous. Everything from the restauraut on site as well as the gym and pool. They even have beach towels to rent out! Thanks again!!
