Everything was terrific, except the rooms and beds are pretty small.

The rooms are very small and there was a smell in the hotel that permeated throughout the building.

Very nice place to stay but breakfast was very expensive in my opinion. Also, i booked a twin room to share with a friend. Although the beds were made as 2 singles, they were one against the other and couldn't be moved so it felt like we were sharing a double bed! That being said, the staff was very welcoming and the rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. The tram stops 2 minutes down the road and takes you to the town centre in 5 minutes and to thw teain station in just over 10 minutes. I would stay in that hotel again.

Lovely hotel , v convenient Rooms on the road side unbearably hot. Reception v kindly moved us to a room on the back with opening windows which was fantastic. Beds very comfortable. Breakfast delicious. Would recommend hotel but would ask for a room with opening window

The check in was smooth and the staff were helpful. Parking our midsize SUV in the hotels parking garage which is next door and has very tight parking stalls was a bit challenging. The room was clean and pleasant with a comfortable bed and a small fridge. One drawback of the area is the lack of restaurants in close proximity although the hotel does have a restaurant.

Staff friendly and helpful on arrival. Room quiet,clean and comfortable. Easy access to town centre with secure parking offered at a fee.

All in all, it was a good choice quality and pricewise. The hotel looked well-kept, and the room was spacious and clean, with modern style furnishings and air condition. However, it was impossible to open the window and get fresh air, so it was no wonder that the air in the room was humid and stuffy and had an unpleasant smell. The bathroom was spacious and clean as well, with all the modern amenities, and had a bathtub. There was complementary tea/coffee in the room. The fridge went out of order during our stay. The free wi-fi functioned well. The staff was all in all friendly and helpful. They spoke English well and appeared professional. The breakfast was good, with a sufficient range of quality produce, fresh fruits and juices and local specialities to choose from. The buffet was refilled regularly, and there was enough food for late risers. The location was convenient, with a 15 minutes’ walking distance to the centre and a tram stop nearby for convenient transport to the railway station. The neighbourhood was nice and quiet.

Everything ok except very small private parking and no restaurant on sundays.

Room is not spacious but cosy and tidy up. Bed is quite comfort, Wifi is fast enough. All staffs are also kind and nice.

So good that I booked again for my next week, room very clean, quiet, breakfast good and staff very nice.

The hotel is a good looking modern hotel with good prices. The breakfast (included in our rate, was excellent, with high quality food and great selections on the buffet. The staff was very friendly, multi- lingual, and helpful as well. The biggest problem was the size of the room. Even for the good rate, it was not an acceptable size for 2 people staying 4 nights (maybe a single person staying one night would be OK). The other drawback was the that the location, although central, is a good walk from the old city center. There were very few restaurants close to the hotel (there was a hotel restaurant and a couple other places that closed early or were fast food types), but for the lively, fun variety of restaurants you had to go to the lovely old city which was walking distance, but a fairly long walk.And there were hardly any stores or markets and though a nice, safe residential area, not the best location for tourists. However, we did like the service, look of the hotel and quality of the products both food and in the room.

For not knowing what to expect from a stay in a French hotel, the stay was just fine. Comfortable, helpful staff and restaurant on premise. Only annoyance was parking for the rental car. Either paid street parking or parking in garage with fee. City center close by so nice location.

Hotel was clean, comfortable, and very nice. Air conditioning worked, hotel staff were nice and helpful, and overall a great impression. The hotel is within walking distance to the main ciry square, and we walked to and from the train station, though you may want to take the tram which is extremely convenient as there is a stop right outside the hotel. Definitely stay here!

Everyone at the hotel was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms were well fitted out with coffee machine and mini bar/fridge. The sights of Grenoble were easy walking distance.

We stayed on night in the Mercure Centre Alpotel. Small comfortable room. Easy access to train station. Tramway near by. We slept well. Comfortable bed.

I stayed in this hotel for a weekend in Grenoble. It has a very good location in the city center, where you can find anything you want very close to you. The room was in perfect condition and the cleaning was good.

Good food and friendly personnel at breakfast. Small rooms, insufficient parking. Very small parking lots if available at all. Come early and with a small car.
