We checked in on Friday night. There was only 2 washcloths, 2 hand towels, and 2 bath towels in bathroom. There were no Kleenex or paper products in the room to wipe our hands on after washing our hands the entire weekend. We used the wash cloths and bath towels Friday night. Got up Saturday morning there were no towels. Front desk could not give any more towels until Sunday because house keeping don’t come in but every other day that’s what customer service at front desk told me. They had no other way to give us towels. So we had no towels to use at all on Sunday. She did say Housekeeping would be in around 9:30 Sunday morning but we were getting ready to check out at 9:30.

Elevators shook a lot and felt unsafe. Pool is closed. They shouldn't advertising there's a pool if no ones allowed to use it. I think covid is over enough that people can surely swim in a pool loaded with BLEACH!

The lady at the front desk was so nice and friendly. The beds were so comfortable after a long day of driving! The breakfast was just what we needed to start our day!

Very nice, kind staff and our room was comfortable.

The bed and toiletries were soggy. We had random wets spots around the room, mold coming from the A/C and wall, and my children’s have bite marks on their legs, feet, and ankles.

The location is a good fit.

Very disappointed in our stay. We needed a last minute place to sleep while on our roadtrip. There were several options but chose this one to avoid some of the “lower budget” options. Little did we know that is what we’d end up with regardless of the higher price tag. Upon checking in we were told they over sold rooms and wouldn’t be getting the double beds we paid for. Instead we got a king and a sofa bed, which wasn’t ideal for our family…hence why I didn’t order that room type. Our two teenagers ended up having to cram into a bed smaller than a twin. The parking lot is small and we had very limited options. Ended up having to park all the way in the back by the dumpster only to find out that the back entrance door didn’t work, so we had to lug all of our stuff around the whole building. Got on the elevator to discover the button to our floor didn’t work. We had to go to the closest floor and use the stairs up. Got into the room where it stunk like mildew and the carpet was soaking wet from the AC unit all the way to the bedside. There wasn’t a complete set of bedding for the sofa sleeper, just sheets- no blankets or pillows. The entire property was dirty from trash littered outside to stains up and down every hallway we walked down. The bathrooms by the lobby were both clogged and overflowing with wads of paper towels. I tried to notify staff of our experience upon checking leaving but there was only a basket for key cards.

The hotel is outdated and the air conditioning in the room needs replacement because it’s noisy. I do not recommend it.

Our family stay was really nice. The lobby area and suite was comfortable and cleanliness was on point. The only complaint would be the pool was green/closed (end of May 2024) and had to request blanket/comforter for the pull out bed. The cover was delivered quite quickly though. Breakfast was nice and morning staff very friendly.

It was okay for a short stay but not for an extended time. Bed was stiff.

It was old and the lamp didn’t have a shade on it.

I was there at the Trade Mart for 2 days conference. The Hampton Inn and Suites were 1.4 miles from the Trade Mart Building and very convenient to go back and forth. I recommend this location to anyone that is visiting the Trade Mart or Coliseum.

This property was definitely not like advertised. Besides the lovely lady at check in everything else was absolutely horrible. The whole hotel is in desperate need of a deep cleaning. Dirt was all over the floors, hair was present in the bathroom. The pool was not clean, elevators didn’t work, certain doors did not work. We were in town for an AAU basketball tournament I would have felt more clean sleeping in my car. I wouldn’t let my dog stay here. The workers are the best part of the hotel.

Good location love the beds and pillows the most. Hampton inn is our favorite hotel because of the beds

Very goid stay but one of yhe elevators did not work causing an inconvenience for getting to the room. Very goid breakfast and the room was very clean. There were some holes in thd room thdt needed to be fixed and some lights thst were not working

The front desk attendant, Jennifer was excellent! She patiently assisted me in changing my check in date. The property needs updating, one elevator was out of service. Pillows and towels should be updated.

The Southern Hospitality was a level 10. I was there for my cousin's graduation and this location was in the best location for what I needed. Coliseum was right across the street, plenty of food options nearby and most importantly easy interstate access.

There was what looked like mold and mildew on the filter inside of the ac units inside of the room, and they need to be changed asap, that is not safe ir sanitary.

Quiet and pleasant stay in a clean and updated room. Good breakfast.

Got the rest we needed on last leg to home.

The floors in the room were filthy. My grandson spilled some water when we first arrived and I used a towel to dry it and the towel was black. I told the staff and she didn’t seem to care, just said she’d tell housekeeping and if she did they never came up to clean.

I liked how clean the room was and quite. Loved the free breakfast. Free coffee and tea all day. We felt safe in this location. Great free parking Friendly staff

Check-in was ok, but could had been better. The front desk clerk just gave me my keys and that was it. Didn't go over breakfast times, room cleaning schedule, or external dining options or nothing! I'm used to receiving more of a friendlier welcome. Fortunately, throughout my stay, the other clerk was more engaging and friendly. The room was very spacious, but wish there was a charging port by the bed. Overall nice stay, will stay again.

Internet didn't work on the 7th floor. They moved us to the first floor so we could connect. Phone in our first room didn't work. Coin operated guest laundry machines didn't work. Breakfast wss marginal, slow to replenish empty serving trays. Nice people at desk, but the place is a little run down.

Base on this photo I took of a sign in the bathroom, housekeeping services should have been provided every other day. When I inquired as to why we had not had any services after our second day, I was told that services must be requested. That is NOT what the sign says. I have noticed ever since the pandemic, the daily housekeeping in most hotels is practically non-existent. However, the price of the rooms have remained the same. This is industry wide!

No bath towels in our room. We reported it to the front desk; they said they would report it to their supervisor. Also, there was a used sanitary glove on the elevator when we checked in. It was still there when we checked out. Not our usual Hampton experience.

The place needs a serious update. I didn't get the quality that i paid for. This hoyel needs to charge Red Roof prices instead of luxury prices.
