I travel 4 days a week was suprised when they billed me for a hair dryer called them explained i am bald i have no reason to to take a hair dryer

I asked for quiet corner, so i was put on 3rd floor, but there was a kid running in the halls for couple hours, so not as quiet as i wanted. Bed was comfy, had new shower although was hoping for a bathtub. I noticed a big dripping orange ooze going down corner of the wall, and ceiling falling apart in that corner almost looks like mold. Room was clean otherwise. Staff friendly.

We had a nice stay. It was a quick visit on our way to South Bend. When we checked in, the pool was closed, but the manager got the pool up and running for our kids. That was very nice. The workers were very helpful when we needed more towels. Everyone was professional and helpful. I slept very well in the bed! I would stay here again just for the bed.

Public areas were nice and clean. Room was run down. Some ceiling stains. Walls had some damage to them and the power strip hanging from a cord to plug in the TV wasn't great. Beds were comfortable and it was quiet

There were two days when the room was not cleaned at all - only new towels. The clerk who initially checked me in, made me uncomfortable to the point of me avoiding him each night when I returned. The grout in the bathroom floor was coming out - stepped on it and cut myself. The handle on the toilet was hard to flush because it hit the toilet cover. The sink handle could not open all the way because it hit the mirror. Needless to say, I will not be returning. If my foot gets infected, I will be in touch.

Disappointed with the room. Smelled like smoke and was musty... Also had a hole in the wall behind the door. Cleaning staff did not remove dirty towels from last guest. Had to clean the light switches since they looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a very long time.

It was very dirty and run down. The carpet and tile in room was sticky. Tile was cracked and crumbling. All paint was chipped off the wall. Furniture was very scratched and damaged. It was gross feeling!

The first room had food in the refrigerator and the beds were made but you could tell the sheets were not changed. And the bedside table had spots on it. I was given another room with no problem but that room smelled musty and the air conditioner leaked so bad that we had to put towels on the floor. And the water pressure was very low in the shower. I was very surprised by all this because I’ve stayed at La Quinta hotels many times and it was always great. So improvements need to be made at this one.

The AC in the room makes a loud noise. They don't change the bead sheets daily. When we asked for the sheets to be changed, the staff at the desk said he can give us the sheets for us to change! Breakfast was disappointing, not much options and the quality was not great. There was no fruits and yogurt etc.

Smoke alarm battery died at 1:15am. Started beeping. Had to go to front desk and have someone come into our room to change battery. When I went to front desk in the morning I was told, yes that happens. They are just batteries so we don’t know when they need to be changed. Totally unacceptable response.

Have stayed at a few La Quinta locations prior and the hotel and rooms were always clean as was this one. Staff is excellent. The only drawbacks were the smells in the rooms at least on the lower level. We had two rooms and both had mildew odors. One room was very bad and we requested a different room. Most on lower level had a musty smell but the upper levels were fine. Staff was very apologetic and made sure that they got us into a room we could not smell the mustiness. One last issue was the drain in lower level room was very slow. Had to stop shower several times to not overflow the shower stall. Would probably return since rooms were reasonably priced but would request upper level room.
