As a parent of a freshman at U of IL - I will never stay here again! YUCK! Our room was filthy. You could see dust and debris on all surfaces in the room. Hair in the tub, etc etc etc. I had to clean the surfaces of every desk, night stand, vanity etc. Dirty carpet. Broken TV. The list goes on and on. The only way I could get thru the night was to pretend I was camping and wear shoes in the room and shower! YUCK!!!!!!!!! We asked for a new room and were told there weren’t any available. No compensation for the broken TV or disgusting room. Never again!

Great stay!

Fairly quick and easy check in & out. Hotel is being renovated at time. Room could have been cleaned better. Air conditioner was pretty old and loud. Squiggly lines on TV. Updates needed for sure so hopefully new ownership will address these concerns. Not terrible for one night given circumstances.

It was a verry comfortable stay, the bed was nice and supportive and the room was pretty clean

The whole night was noisy because it was right by the highway. We did not feel safe because there was a problem with the room lock. We even notified the clerk at front desk, but no one came or even cared about the lock if it was working or not.

It is clean, but outdated.

The headboard on the bed fell off the wall. Notified in the morning (~10am) about this and recommended they try and fix it by 3pm. The front desk instead called us at 8pm to try and fix it. Very annoying.

The sink had cracks, bathroom was molded, the whole room was musky.

Property was okay quality. The bathroom wouldnt drain water. The breakfast was really not there. there was nothing to eat in the morning. Room was okay condition.

It is a place you can rest.

Bad experience, not recommended

The hotel was under construction when I arrived. I was unable to access the front entrance as it was entirely blocked off. I was not made aware of this. My Uber driver drove us around back where the parking lot was also filled with equipment, dumpsters, toilets, and more. There was a single door open to the public there. I understand not telling a potential guest that the hotel will be under construction so as not to lose that reservation, but I found this to be really sketchy. My first day there was a lot of noise from the construction. My room was on the first floor, and as a solo traveling woman, did not want to open the curtains as it opened right out to where the workers were located. The room was humid and felt wet. And while the construction was happening to upgrade the front entrance, the hotel rooms themselves are definitely in need of upgrading. While it says breakfast is provided - do yourself a favor, and plan on breakfast elsewhere. There were a few pieces of bread and a couple packets of instant oatmeal. You were lucky if there was any coffee. I'm not sure if they were feeding the construction crew at 6am, but there was nothing left at 8am and by the 3rd day I was there, all that was left were a couple of creamer packets, as it was never restocked at all. My advice - spend an extra $30 and stay somewhere else.

This motel is okay at the price,

Good location, only stayed one night before UI registration day but was good enough. Clean. Breakfast was decent, not fancy but plenty. Parts of the hotel was under construction but since we left at 7:30am it wasn't a big deal.

Very nice clean room. Great amentities.

This place undergoing renovation but still was clean and for a modest priced room, it worked- clean and comfortable

Building is half torn down so when we showed up at 10pm (ish) quite a few workers out around back drinking beer which may be no issue but the vehicle right there with it's rear window broken out and condition of the building left us a bit uneasy. We escaped unscathed however, yay!

my room had black mold all over bathroom. Back door was used by everyone which was broke and slammed shut every time and was never lock. my room was next to it. when I complained only got a "i'm Sorry". Didn't sleep ,

Overall EXCELLENT experience. Under construction so most complaints we had were based on these issues. Found screws all over parking areas and a bit complicated to enter building(Again, due to construction)

The bed was comfortable. Danielle, the night clerk, was great!

All the construction on the property and the room was continually humid even with the ac running and had a funny smell.

Walked in our assigned room and immediately left. When the light was turned on there were live roaches everywhere.

People r nice, rooms clean. Outside ok needs nice landscaping and flowers
