No on site parking, and reception can be busy in the morning, so if you use the valet parking make sure you request your car return in plenty of time. Good central location close to the market place

A comfortable hotel in a good central location. The staff and the service were excellent. The breakfast room was delightful and the buffet exquisite. However the overall impression was that the hotel itself was a little tired, and it just didn't give a 5 star feel to staying there. Our room was quite small and rather gloomy, and the shower door did not close properly, resulting in a wet floor.

Very comfortable stay in an historic building, conveniently situated close to the railway station, main sights, restaurants and shops. Spacious and well equipped room and bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff.

This is simply the best Luxury Collection Hotel weve ever stayed in. This was our third visit. Yo Yo Ma was also in house when we were there. Spoke to him several times. Be sure to check out inner courtyard for indoor dining and steam room sauna and pool on lower level.

Large rooms, very spacious. Just at the edge of the city center, so a great location. Conveniently close to the large mall.....and a walk from the main town square.

Missing a coffee machine, Matrasses old and too soft, breakfast too expensive, Pool too small and too dark

Bathtub and shower room are separate, I was able to put hot water in the bathtub, extend the legs and take a bath. Our family was very refreshing. The tram station is in front of the hotel, very convenient location.

This was a nice old hotel, except that it didnt have a restaurant, even though the neon sign advertised one. Rooms were very comfortable and well equipped and there was an excellent pool and sauna. It was convenient for the city.

Ive given this hotel 3 out of 5 because although it IS a nice hotel, I was expecting a bit more considering its a 5 star hotel. Our room had a good-sized bathroom, excellent amount of wardrobe space and plenty of towels (not always the case in some hotels) but the room itself was rather small and the overhead shower wasnt the best either (although the hand held shower was good) - I did at one point consider going down to use the showers by the swimming pool rather than the shower in the room, since they were a lot more powerful). Also the pool looked nice but the shape meant it was actually quite narrow so Ok for floating about in, but not so much if you were thinking of swimming lengths. The staff were pleasant and the room was clean. The location is very good. I normally stay in the Westin when I visit Leipzig and the rooms there are bigger than the room we had.

Very friendly service in the hotel. We appreciated the warm welcome. We were able to receive guests for breakfast and were nicely seated.

What impressed us the most was the fact that all the staff were alert to our needs and never passed the buck. When they were aware of a problem or a request they acted on it instead of saying, 'Oh, someone else will deal with that.' It's a beautiful classic hotel where nothing is too much trouble and close to attractions in Leipzig.

The layout, furniture and decor bring the visitor back to the good old days prior to WW One. The "Gruenderjahre" formed Leipzig and its culture. One gets a taste of it in this hotel with its friendly and well trained personnel. The well informed consierge helped us even before we arrived, arranging for a ten hour private tour of the city and its surroundings. VM Montreal,

This is an excellent hotel where the staff are highly professional, friendly and willing to help in any way. A superb experience and one that can be recommended to all.

Not that impressed for 5 star rating, should be 4 stars.

Clean - comfortable and great location. Can't ask for more except a little more competitive price.
