Hotel close to a lot of things. Hotel is in the middle of complete renovations. New carpet in halls, flooring in room. Bathroom was completely redone.

The bathroom in my room 118 Was so dirty it was ridiculous the stool was stopped up and wouldn't flush

I searched for econolodge.com and attempted to book a room. Once i entered my cc info the itinerary showed the wrong dates and the wrong price. I called the hotel and they explained that it was booked through expedia not econolodge. I called expedia to attempt to resolve the issue but they stated the reservation was through one of their partners and couldnt help me. They also said they had no idea which of their partners made the reservation, so im out a ton of money because of their mistake and the bait and switch tactics they use. DONT USE EXPEDIA!!!

Just passing thru on a road trip. The room seemed recently remodeled and was good. The staff helped me understand how to use the TV, needed some more instructions. Pillows weren't comfortable.

Since our KING bed pre-paid room was on the 3rd floor (no elevator) , we were forced to choose a First Floor double room and were charged $15 CASH - for that. I feel cheated and squeezed by this hotel and will NEVER go back.

The staff was excellent and very helpful for my stay. The building is in poor condition and it looks like the owners are trying to make improvements throughout. The room itself was very clean and recently renovated. The door to the room was in bad shape as were the walls. Which seems very very flimsy

I was amazed how nice this hotel was. It was nice and quiet and very clean. The upgrades are very noticeable and welcoming. Will be going back. Close to restaurants and the interstate.

It was clean and inexpensive. Walls are thin. I could hear footsteps above my room. No coffee in room, but it was a nice room. Breakfast was very minimal. Waffle House is adjacent to parking lot.

The check in manager is a lunatic ! Mean, aggressive, insulting. He cancelled our reservation because my husband did not do the check in. The whole enviorment was dirty and run down.

Basically the entire hotel wasn’t much to look at and then to add insult to injury, the staff was very disrespectful I had my infant child’s mom bring my son to spend the day with me and the front desk called my room very disrespectful asking why is there other people in my room and how long they were going to be there he was very rude and when I checked out when I tried to ask about the 50 dollar refund he was very rude I will not be staying here again

I was kicked out of the property with 2 days left already paid for. I had a friend over for pizza and a movie. I never had anyone there at night or all night. The manager said I didn’t have a right to have visitors and kicked me out. He was yelling at me and scared me very much.

Check in process was good. Morning breakfast was good and much appreciated. Room was dirty and in desperate need of a deep clean. Snot rockets on the walls, sex handprints on the headboard, toothpaste on the wall, mold on the shower curtain, pubic hair on the shower walls....the list goes on. When we brought it to the manager's attention the next morning (JUST to inform him - not to get any kind of compensation), he was very rude and didn't want to hear any of it.
Also, Neighborhood around the hotel is loud - cars reving their engines and honking all night. Beds were very hard.

Actually I cant understand any previous star rating less than 4 or 5. The staff, the accomodation, and premises were all at least very good to excellent quality. This is obviously an older building but thats not a negative for me because its very well preserved. The room included an iron, clothes hangers, a digital alarm clock, refrigerator, microwave (2 of them in my room), toiletries, a note pad, several lamps and mirrors, tables, desk with chair, dresser drawers, immaculate bathroom, coffee pods, privacy window shades, spotless linens and pillows, etc---- topped of with a very generous selection of complimentary breakfast foods, juice, fruit, and desserts available 6 to 9am. All in all this facility has all the aspects of a 5 star rating because it has everything that really counts for the client.

The bed mattress was smaller than the frame. The television had to be hand tuned each time it was turned on. The fit of the door latch was very sloppy so as to close the door you had to slam it shut which was very noisy for adjacent rooms. Not once during my weeks stay did house keeping clean the room. I had to take out the garbage. Not impressed!

Easy access from the interstate and major roads. Close to major hospital and points of interest. Good overall for an inexpensive rest stop.

Staff was very nice and helpful at check in and check out. Bed sheets and towels were clean. Floor was mostly clean. No elevator to get to our room on the 2nd floor with our luggage. King size bed frame was fitted with a smaller queen size mattress - very odd. Great to have waffles at the continental breakfast. Orange juice tasted very artificial.

Veronica , Desmond and the other staff are wonderful. They make your stay so pleasant plus do whatever they can to meet your needs while you’re there. The building itself is quite and nobody get into your affairs.

The rooms were actually very nice. I was surprised by the quality of the renovations within the rooms. However, two of the towels that was hanging up had what I'm hoping was old makeup on there. Meaning they couldn't have been clean/new. Also The building reeked of mold and what I'm thinking may have been weed. The front desk clerk was also kind of rude. She was handling a dispute with another client and just simply seemed over everything.

Upon arrival the motel looked dirty from the outside and there was trash by the front entry door. We were given a key card for a second floor room. I got to the hallway of the room it smelled like marijuana. When I went into the room's bathroom to wash my face there was a spot of blood on the wall behind the sink. When I went to open the door my hand was on something red on the door. When I looked closer it was smeared blood. I called the front desk they sent someone ( I guess housekeeping) they asked me to show it to them and I did. They looked at it and said it may be paint. In my line of work we don't call that paint. We call it evidence. They put us in another room that looked run down and uncared for. One of the pillows were closer to tan than white. The room refrigerator had not been cleaned or defrosted in quite a while. It was so much ice built up that it was hard to close the door. .I tried to warm up something in the microwave it had a foul odor so that was a no go. The security of the building also seemed lacking and unsafe.
I tried to get a room at another motel but was not able to find one because it was a holiday weekend.
I will never stay there again and I hope other travelers will think twice about it also. I usually don't give bad reviews but this place was beyond belief.

I don't normally leave reviews. This hotel could not find my booking, then found out what had happened and honoured the booking. Then put me in a Ground floor room as requested and i was very happy with the room.
