The food and the staff were amazing. However this hotel is located right next to the largest city school. K-12 grades so there are tons of kids outside from 9am-4pm on school days. It sounds like a rock concert in your hotel room.

Our absolute favorite place we stayed at in Europe! Excellent rooms, beautiful breakfast, great service. I would go back to Munich just to stay here again!

The photos on the website look completely stunning in reality it’s a shabby place, small place where nothing works. We booked a suite. It was the smallest one ever stayed. No cattle’s in the room, fridges didn’t work, air cons couldn’t be switched off, sleeping was too hot. People on reception don’t know any information when asked. Also with heavy bags we had to go up to 6th floor. Smelly lift didn’t work either. Only positive that it is in the centre. On the check out I was asked to pay again as they said they couldn’t find payment. Very stressful experience, we are not coming back !!! Please go further there are plenty nice places in Munich and it’s not Admiral Hotel.

the receptionist was very rude when we first got to the hotel and when i asked if we could store our bags there until we could check in they told me to leave the bags by the wall. i assumed that they would then take our items and store them in some locket but they just left them there for 4 hours until we got to check in. so they were not protected by any means.

I don't understand why, having a garden so nice, with warm weather, as it was the case, breakfast can not be served outside.

The hotel was bright & clean & was about a 10 minute walk to Marienplatz. The staff were friendly & helpful. The hotel had a continental breakfast which was very nice. Highly recommend this hotel & would stay here again.

We stayed here in JULY 2023 for a few days. We had never been to Munich and I had read about this hotel and like the reviews so I picked this one. I’m glad I did! The staff was very friendly, the breakfasts were delicious, a very nice buffet! There was an adorable courtyard in back for us to enjoy a coffee at the end of the day or my husband would go out there and enjoy a cigar. The room was clean, comfortable, updated and nice shower/bathroom. The location was good. It was about a 10mn or less walk to Old Town Munich. The hotel is in a trendy part of Munich, cool restaurants around there. Overall, we loved it. Thank you!

Friendly staff! Excellent breakfast!

Had a wonderful stay in this quaint hotel in a nice quiet neighborhood. The staff was very friendly and they have a delicious breakfast every morning that is included in your stay! Would definitely recommend and stay again.

The newly renovated rooms are very small but comfortable. We had an issue on check-in, we had communicated with the hotel that our transport had been delayed and we were likely to arrive after closure of the reception at 11pm. A key had been provided in the night box however no details on how to access it were provided. This lead to a stressful 20 minutes out the front of the hotel attempting to get in contact with the night manager to get the code. Once we gained entry to the hotel our keys for the room did not work so we again had to contact the night manager to obtain a master key to get into our room. Management were understanding in the morning however passed off the lack of communication to a third party being used for the booking.

Stayed in superior double - Rooms recently renovated tastefully, breakfast room comfortable and best part was the choices of fresh fruit - the best we had even staying at 4 star plus hotels in Bavaria. Location is a bit of maze to get to Marienplatz based on non grid street plan - took us a pleasant 10-15 minutes walk. Convenient Parking in nearby multi floor garage - and there was space to unload in Front of hotel.

Great location - we could walk almost everywhere we wanted to go. Our room was fantastic and very well-suited to a family traveling together. Hotel staff members were very nice and helpful.

We love staying here. The staff is friendly and helpful. Great local restaurants are close by and the Victualienmarkt, Deutsches Museum, and Marienplatz are all a Short Walk away.

Clean, bright room with great front staff.

Munich is expensive and this hotel was too. The location is great, easy walk to main part of old town. Ice machine broken during our stay. Breakfast was fine, no hot food. Small room, but newly renovated. Balcony was a nice touch. Overall, not a great value but an excellent location and clean, well maintained hotel.

This hotel was delightful. The breakfast was expansive and the little garden was charming. The rooms were small but the location made it easy to see the sights of Munich.

The hotel offers a fantastic breakfast and has extremely welcoming and helpful staff. Our room had a balcony that overlooked the lovely courtyard. It was dog friendly and we loved walking our pup along the river right by the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

The hotel is a great find with excellent and friendly staff and a beautiful garden in the back where you can have your breakfast. It really pains me to report two negative things however, given how great the staff was. One was the A/C that was not even making a dent to the overall temperature of the room. The other, which is very serious if you need to rely on wi-fi for doing any work is the low signal strength of the wi-fi in the rooms in the back of the hotel and in the garden.

The hotel was unique. It is close to everything. My children especially liked the variety of the breakfast item included. The properties could use some renovation in the future, like re-touchup of the windows. It is in a large building block, but was kept very clean. The staff was very helpful, professional and pleasant to talk with.

Handy location, very clean and beds are so comfortable. Only negative is that on Friday the breakfast was great, by Monday the choice had diminished.
