Always love staying at The Galt. Staff is always nice and professional. Only issue we had this time, the ice machine on our floor was not working. Over all, had a great time and a great stay.

Hotel was ideally located for attending an event in the convention center, as well as visiting Louisville. It’s a very large hotel. The room was clean. The AC was noisy.

We had stayed in this hotel a couple years ago and was disappointed. It was not clean and need upgrades. But this time we were pleased with our stay. It was very clean and nice. The restaurants are nice and the staff is friendly.

Check in was the only part that could've used higher rate of friendliness. Two guys didn't greet me. Seemed more concerned with their conversation and playing on their phones. Everything else was amazing.

Amazing and we will definitely be back, from the front desk to the Silks Bar top notch service. A must stay when visiting Louisville. 360 workout room, great views, large selection of dining and bar options, close too many sights. Rooms very were clean and renovated. Walkway to Yum Center. There are so many amenities, I would recommend checking out their site!

Love staying at The Galt House. Rooms are spacious, the vibe is very “Louisville,” and it’s in the perfect location downtown. My husband and I have been staying here for many years and look forward to many more.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. I like a lot of the amenities—swizzle, the spa, the bar, etc. I also like the walkability to downtown restaurants and activities. However, both times I’ve stayed here, the quality of the other guests was not good. The last time, we had to be moved at 2am after several complaints were made by us about our neighbors smoking weed and yelling for hours into the early morning. This time, it was loud music and a large group of girls coming and going LOUDLY in the halls. I will never stay here and let them put me in a room near the stairs or elevators again—HORRIBLE. None of to amenities makes up for the poor quality of others who stay there. Now that it’s happened twice, it would definitely discourage my return. Also, why is the bedding so skimpy? You are basically given a sheet and mega thin blanket to sleep with. I had to call multiple times for blankets and they only bring you one more blanket each time.

I was a nice location in downtown Louisville. Very friendly staff, clean rooms and dining.

Service in dining room needs enhancement & room cleaning service was inconsistent. Expensive parking. Overall, nice property.

Nice hotel. Perfect for walking along the river. Like the skywalk area.

Front desk employees were rude and not helpful. The beds were the most uncomfortable beds I ever slept in or unable to sleep in.

Great hotel and wonderful location

The Galt is in the heart of downtown Louisville close to most anything you could want. The hotel was very nice with cozy beds and great linens. Front desk was accommodating putting my room next to another family with a separate reservation. They answered all our questions and made us feel welcomed.

It was nice. Centrally located. You could walk to a restaurant or enjoy one of their many restaurants. The restaurants were unfortunately understaffed when I was there, but it wasn’t the server’s issue, they just needed help. The front desk staff was spectacular.

The Hotel is very nice although we didn't find the mattress to be very comfortable. Our view from our window was a parking garage. It was convenient to have the restaurants in the Hotel and it was extremely nice for seeing a concert at the KFC Yum Center!

The proprty is a great location and has a lot to offer. Beautiful facility

Rooms were decent. Pull out bed was absolutely terrible to sleep on. Very uncomfortable. Blankets were not warm or comfortable. Balcony had not been swept in a while. Very dirty. When checking in, representative did not seem competent. Took two trips to get a correct parking ticket, mind you I only stayed one night. Overall would not recommend or stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay. Guest services were knowledgeable and friendly. Responded quickly to our requests for additional blankets and towels. Clean and welcoming. Valet parking was great. Very fast and friendly.

Beautiful hotel…convenient to many restaurants & stores. Staff were amazing. So many things to do within the hotel. The view was also amazing.

We are from the suburbs of Louisville but we enjoy staying at the Galt House, eating at Jeff Ruby's, sitting in the walkover having a drink & people watching. Lots of good restaurants, distillery tours, & the Slugger Museum for tourist. Will be back.

The bedding needs to be improved. The sheets were too starchy and not big enough for the king bed.

Great accommodations. Very clean. Very updated hotel. Would definitely stay there again.
