Hotel is in a nice convenient location with plenty of free parking. Breakfast was pretty basic, but the room we had was really nice and the beds were huge.

My husband and i come to the area very often for deep sea fishing trips. We booked a suite with the jacuzzi tub. The water wouldn't turn off after taking a shower so we could get into the jacuzzi tub. We called front desk to send maintenance. A woman came and said she was maintenance and that the original maintenance person was off for the weekend. She came with the wrong tools and was not able to get the water to stop(my husband is actually a plumber and let her know those tools would not fix the problem). The water ran for awhile while we waited for maintenance. We ended up having to move rooms. There were no more suites available for our weekend stay. We asked to speak with the manager to be compensated since we did pay for a suite for the weekend but he/she was off that weekend, but they would have the manager contact us. We still have not spoken to anyone. We were looking forward to soaking in the jacuzzi after a long day of deep sea fishing!

This was the absolute worst place I’ve ever stayed. I was in tears from the amount of pain I was in attempting to sleep on their sad excuse for a mattress. I booked their suite and it was an actual joke. It was dirty, holes in the walls, zero streaming services and you can hear the occupants from other rooms. They also took $260 out of my account and I’ve contacted them several times to get the money returned and it has not yet been refunded. Save your money and go anywhere else.

We stayed here for our 48th wedding anniversary. The staff was amazing! On the night of our anniversary, we returned to our room to find an iced down bottle of wine, glasses, candles, chocolates, and silk rose petals.. Amazing! We would recommend this place to stay. We'll be back..

This property is recently renovated and in the perfect spot at Morro Bay. The employees are great and the sun deck is an awesome place to relax and watch the sunset. This is my second time staying here and I'm definitely coming back!

We stayed one night at this hotel during our road trip. The hotel is close to the sea. It is also close to restaurants and groceries. The room was very nice.

The table and TV were in an awkward position. No comfortable position to view TV. The tub was not cleaned thoroughly, mold still in jacuzzi spouts. Mold on outside of shower. No makeup mirror and no microwave. Pillows were very used.

Rooms were very nice, clean and spacious, Hotel is located within walking distance to restaurants and shops. The only thing that this hotel needs to improve is front desk customer service...some times they go away for quite long.

The hotel was nothing like the images posted. The first room we were put in was filthy and still had food on the counter from the previous travelers. The floor was filthy and the bedding was not at all changed. The second room was equally as filthy. The floor was not swept or mopped. This room had an area rug that was filthy with stains and animal hair. The balcony was covered in spider webs so you couldn’t sit out on the balcony if you wanted to. The solution offered by the man at the front desk was to check out if we didn’t fell this was the place for us. Terrible service. I will never book another stay at this place.
One thing we liked about the hotel was its vicinity to shops and dining. That’s about it.

We only stayed one night so not much to report; however, we had to wait 45 minutes when we arrived at 6pm (during normal check-in window). Frustrating, after driving for 4 hours and no bathroom available in the lobby, and the clerk didn't show any concern.

groovy, older spot, 2 block off the water. big spacious comfortable room with great roof top deck for sunsets. water pressure in the bathroom sink was not good, but a great stay.

The over all experience was nice. They were extremely short staff, so my patience was given tremendously. At one point the same front girl seemed to be there for 24 hrs straight. Only 1 house keeper. Our rooms view was stunning, exactly what i was wanting & needing. The bed & bathroom was clean... other little areas needed help. A good wipe down From top to bottom would be amazing. But with only 1 house keeper the place looked great!!! The girls in the front were friendly & helpfull, when we could find them. I felt like they were running non stop especially during breakfast hours. I would stay here again. I just hope they get the employees they it need, that stress is not needed nor is it ok to be treated that way.

The stay was fine. But it took 30 minutes for someone to get to the counter. I stood there as two employees walked by and saw me standing there. Two more guests entered and were surprised no one would answer the phone or come to the front. 30 minutes. There were bills sitting on the counter, and guests' names written on a paper with their information. It just seemed odd that no one would answer the phone or come to the front desk for 30 minutes. I finally asked a maintenance person to get someone.

Always love our stay here! It’s close enough to walk the shops and they have free breakfast in the morning. We stay here every time we come to Morro Bay and will continue to do so.

Nice hotel, comfortable bed,, good breakfast. However room had no clock or phone and bathroom door was hung wrong and made very loud scraping sound when closing it.

This was the first time we’ve been back since it was completely remodeled. They went in the total opposite direction of the previous decor, a decor that I liked. There are three reasons for me to continue booking here, the jetted tub, the working fireplace, and rooftop lounge.
The new decor is okay as far as a modern look goes, but I miss the charm of the English Countryside Inn look and feel. But that’s just me.
