Great property!! The hotel is very clean and spacious to be a boutique hotel. It’s located right on the beach so the views are amazing! The staff members are very friendly and willing to help with any questions. I would stay here again.

Had a wonderful time. Beds were very comfortable. The staff were welcoming, friendly, helpful. Rooms and pool area were very well-maintained. We will definitely be back.

The problem with this hotel is they put us in a room next to the construction zone. The noise was so bad we had to ask for a new room. They did that but why didn’t they put us in that room to begin with?

When we booked this reservation, we had no idea that this hotel is a five star, four diamond hotel. When we got out of the taxi, we were greeted with chilled towelettes and a glass of champagne. The check-in experience it was like none other I’ve ever experienced. We were seated rather than standing at a counter, and the staff person gave us her personalized undivided attention. Our room was lovely with a beautiful view of the ocean. I’ve experienced quite a few all inclusive packages in my life. The food is normally mediocre. The food at this establishment was outstanding. My partner is vegan and they catered to his every need for every meal. He was in hog heaven. The staff was beyond warm and friendly with many of them striking up conversations, rather than just serving our food. Overall, our experience was outstanding. The only thing that could have been better, was the bed was extremely firm. We talked to the front desk about it, and they were quick to remedy the issue with a mattress topper. We would recommend this resort to anybody in our life and we will definitely stay there again.

The property itself is very nice! The staff was great. The surrounding area is very impoverished and the beach is too rocky to be used.

We love VPB!! Love the staff, specially Enrique at the pool bar and Veronica our housekeeper who made our stay specially awesome. Second stay for us and will come back again.

We were very well taken care of. The room was very spacious. The food was excellent, and staff were beyond attentive.

It was really the staff that made my stay amazing!! Came for my 30th birthday with a large group of friends and family. Everyone from the concierge Susy to Paul the pool manager to the many waiters Noel, Brandon, Edgar, Ruben, and Frida just went above and beyond! Veronica in the spa gave me an excellent manicure!! Would definitely return. It's a small easy to navigate resort that I would recommend to all!!

Good property. Good food. Can’t prepare good cocktails. Good food and service. Very expensive spa. The beach is not good. There are stones all over, it is not hotel fault but the beach is bad. No sand, just rocks. It looks dirty, like pavement

On a scale of 1-10 I would give this place a 7.8. I feel the service, customer service and attentiveness is great. There was really no wait ever for drinks or to eat at either of the restaurant. We did the all inclusive, however not sure that was the best move as we ate off site twice in 4 nights. In my opinion the drinks at the hotel are just not good, I was a bartender and I want top notch, craft cocktails. Honestly the margaritas were not flavorful and that should be a staple there. Both restaurants are open air and the service is great at both. The table side guacamole was one of the better dishes. The upscale restaurant is nice and romantic, however the piano player and the violinist stop at 9pm. That resaurant also does not change their menu and they have very limited glasses of wine available and serve their merlot and cab cold...... not how red wine is supposed to be served in most cases. As I mentioned about the music cutting at 9pm, the music at the hotel was one of my least favorite things. Sure people want to relax, but there are also plenty of people in the swim up bar who are socializing, doing the occasion shot and want to let loose a little. The music is all instrumental version of very slow music, not romantic at all, something that literally puts you to sleep. They could even be playing some reggae or other mainstream pop. I'm not saying it should be a rager, but when you are playing a slowed down instrumental version of "more than a woman"

This was a lovely small, adult only, all inclusive resort. It was modern and clean with 2 pools to choose from, 1 of which was a swim up bar! We ate all our meals at the resort and they offer 24hr food options which was very nice. The food other all very fresh and well made! There are a wide variety of drinks to choose from and a stocked fridge in the room. Everyone was friendly and we had no issues communicating with any of the staff. We will absolutely stay here again!

Very relaxing great weather for April

This is a place to relax. Quiet. Clean. Friendly staff. Nice pool. The beach here is rocky so bring beach shoes. The average age of visitors is around 55. The food wasn't bad, but wasn't anything memorable. When booking, you need to make sure that you pay for the all inclusive if you want it instead of hotel only. We didn't know that and were surprised when we arrived and we're told we only paid for the hotel. To pay for all inclusive at the resort, it's $140 USD per person per day....if your going to have drink at the pool and breakfast..it's worth it.

Very classy and quiet place! Perfect for a couple who want to enjoy each other and rest!

We stayed here for 2 days after our wedding ceremony. The hotel was gorgeous and relaxing and the staff was very polite and helpful.

Cleanliness, on the beach, the staff was extreamly helpfull, and friendly. Adult only was a huge plus, as well as being a smaller resort. Paul at the pool was outstanding.

Nice property great location Staff very friendly and helpful Problem with checking in. Check in is 3 pm and did not give us room til 5 pm. They did not offer us a late check out or anything. I am a platinum member and this property VIP. Did not feel it

Overall we had a pleasant stay. However, they really made my friend mad with their guest policies and we were there for his birthday, so I am not happy with what went down. Also in terms of cleanliness, on my last day I used a "fresh" towel after my shower that had makeup on it (fresh makeup not stained that were left after washing), also my bed sheet had various stains on them. I expected better cleanliness, especially for the price they charge.

The property was lovely, clean and well designed but the staff really made our vacation. We felt very pampered. One of the best vacations we have taken in a long time.

The stay was just OK for the elaborate price. I have stayed at more gorgeous upscale hotels for way less a night. The neighbouring empty property was garbage filled and it’s what you can see from your balcony. Don’t look right lol! Small details were missed, like a rusty razor blade left by the Jacuzzi tub when we checked in. I was supposed to get a free bottle of wine upon check in and they made it weirdly difficult to get that.

A beautiful boutique hotel located in a very convenient location. The staff are warm, welcoming and friendly. A big thanks to Alejandra at front desk, Paul at the pool, Jorge at the beverage and food service near the pool, and señor Isidro for outstanding client service. The general service in the hotel can be slow especially room service so allow yourself enough time if in a rush.

Service is exceptional - knowledgeable and very friendly staff always make you feel welcome and special. Super attention to cleanliness. Resort is elegant but in an understated way. Rooms spacious and very comfortable. Small touches like the welcome sparkling wine and neck massage, choice of pillows and room scent. The try to accommodate every need - so pleased with our stay! We also like that it is right on the water, but exiting the front door leads to cobblestone streets and a 5-minute walk to shops restaurants and the Malecon.

Property wise nice but there where other properties in area that were nicer and more updated.
