Front desk Check in was great. Breakfast menu was very lacking with only 4 selections, basically pre-made items.But we know better and local restaurants were very close for full breakfast.

We were there for a WarBride reunion – so most of us were well over the age of 60. Into Many have mobility issues. The banquet rooms were on the third floor. The pet friendly room was on the first floor. Only one of our guests had a pet yet most of us were placed on the first floor. I have nothing against animals – I am a pet owner myself, but to have the privilege of listening to a dog barking and yapping all night long that was three doors down from our room is not my idea of having a good sleep
There was also a teenage hockey team In town for a tournament at the hotel. Many of them were on the third floor. There Hockey bags full of gear were so big that only two at a time could get into the elevators. So when you often had a traffic jam at the elevators with everybody trying to get up to the third floor– the WarBride guests for the banquet rooms and the hockey players for their rooms .
Considering the kids used the pool while we were doing our thing at the reunion I think it would’ve made sense to have the kids on the main floor so they wouldn’t have to worry about the elevators and their hockey bags and put the guests with mobility issues up on the third floor, so they just had to walk down the hallway to the banquet rooms. The hallways were exceptionally narrow, and the elevators were really small
The staff at the front desk were absolutely amazing. The food and the service we got at our banquets were absolutely fabulous so all in all it was a good weekend.

Friendly service with hotel personnel at check in. Invited us to join rewards or call direct for a whl rate. Will be our go to spot when coming to see the Lethbridge Hurricanes.

The room smelled of unwashed curtains or old furnishings. Unpleasant smell when you walk in but also while lying in bed. Bed and pillows also uncomfortable.
Restaurant on site is great, gym is good. Maybe just need a room update.

Hotel is what you would expect for a Sandman property. Hotel appears to be a 1970’s Holiday Inn when they built a majority of their hotels with an atrium around a pool. Breakfast is provided by a third party caterer and is not worth the cost; limited options and everything was most likely microwaved.

Stayed for one night. Our initial room, the ceiling was leaking in the bathroom. I reported it to front desk and they moved us to another room promptly. The second room, the air condition was quite loud. Overall, the place is clean, beds were comfy, and the pool area is beautiful.

Terrible elevators - great hotel! I was living in Lethbridge when the Lodge as it used to be called was built. Even then the elevators were tiny and after Sandman updated all the rooms the elevators remain the same. It’s understandable given what replacing them would entail. The hotel is ideally located, the staff friendly and the courtyard with its trees and pool are wonderful. It’s easily the nicest hotel in Lethbridge.

Bathroom door was a glass pocket door that didn’t actually lock and wasn’t flush with the wall. Really odd choice and gave next to zero privacy for using a washroom.
Noticed a few stains on the bed linens. No freezer area in the mini fridge was unfortunate, as we like to refreeze our freezer packs to put in our camping cooler.
Check in was a bit of a mess, understandably a busy night, but also our credit card of choice, that was used to pay for the room, was not accepted at check in for the deposit. Cash or debit was also not accepted. So we needed to use another card, that we did not wish to use, for check in.
Coffee was 24/7 but noticed no water?
Pool was extremely over crowded, no towels, and wasn’t very clean.
Really good proximity to most things we wanted to see in Lethbridge, as well as good proximity to many food options.
No free breakfast was odd as many comparable, even cheaper priced hotels, offered it, but that wasn’t a big deal.
Overall would maybe stay again if there was no other choice, but for the cost, I wasn’t thrilled. Seriously though, get some proper bathroom doors, and consider expanding the payment options for deposit. If you don’t like a specific Mastercard, don’t accept it to pay for the room and then say we need a different one for the deposit.
Need more/bigger elevators. High capacity hotel, and one tiny elevator for our tower, which is only accessible by walking through the entire atrium/pool area. Not nearly enough parking either.

Was passing through Lethbridge and needed a place to stay. Staff was friendly and professional, room was comfortable. Elevator was small and slow, resulting in long wait times.

We got a great room. Only thing is listening to the screaming kids in the pool until 10pm every night. The fire doors were open so we heard everything really well. I thought these doors were to remain closed, as per fire department rules…

It was loud and unruly. We were put in the room across the elevator. It was impossible to sleep due to the noise and party upstairs. Eventually I asked for a new room, 3 doors down. There was a party 20 plus people partying upstairs making it again impossible to sleep. We left at 2am to go somewhere else, the staff attending the front desk said “ok”

Overall excellent stay. Was a Saturday night so lots of kids using the pool and was noisy, but when the pool closed it got quiet and was fine. Excellent Italian restaurant on the premise.

The a/c in our room didn’t cool down the room, there was cool air coming out of the vent but no air flow, the fan was noisy and not operational. Also found beer cans in one of the drawers, left them there (room 239) but the rest of the room was clean and comfortable. The hot tub also had a malfunction but they handled that right away and it stopped over flowing and started to heat up. It’s a nice hotel and will give it another chance, not our first stay here
